Here's a little version of what caused Helia to end up at RF during s2 Witch!Helia style!

Helia was homeschooled/raised at Red Fountain by Saladin. Helia technically never got traditional specialist schooling, as Helia's main combat education was focused on his witch magic. Mostly because magic is a lot more useful than a sword. Despite this, Helia has always had a love for body kinetic activities, and constantly got any and every teacher at Red Fountain to give him tips. His gloves in perticualr we're something he always gravitated to as they require a intense amount of technique and control to use properly, and Helia's always been a sucker for things that are tricky to deal with. He really enjoys the mental stimulation.

When Helia hit 15 he wanted to go to a real magic school. Just to see what it was like, especially because this school was well known for its art extra curriculars and Helia really enjoys art.

Helia returned to Red Fountain because he heard about the attack on the school and flipped the fuck out in worried for Saladin, horrified that he left for two years and the home he grew up in was completely destroyed. Immediately taking the first shuttle to Red Fountain, getting there at the beginning of summer.

The first member of the Winx club and the guys™ he met were actually Riven and Musa, both who really didn't want to go home for the summer. Musa because she was afraid that her father would try to take her out of Alfea if he learned how involved she actually was with what happened, and Riven because he just generally doesn't get along with his family and didn't want the added stress of that on top of learning he was being manipulated for the worst half of a year. I think I read somewhere that Timmy's family lives in Magix's? So maybe he's also around.

I'd imagine them meeting while their all helping to find anything salvageable/clean up the old RF while the new RF is being built. Ya know, because Alfea isn't made to keep dragons and such. Riven because being sedentary let's his thoughts run wild, Musa there half because she wants to help half because she's been sticking around Riven because she's worried about his mental health, and Helia is there of course because this is his beloved home.

He hears the quick version of what happened from Saladin, but gleams more and more details about the events from Musa and begins a small friendship with her and Riven.

I can't see him as being super close to Riven and Musa, but enough that they introduced Helia to the rest of the group instead of Brandon.

He's technically not a student of Red Fountain. He restarted homeschooling on his magic, stubbornly refusing to leave Saladin alone, but he really enjoys sitting in on RF classes so he tends to do so.

He just kinda hangs more and more around the guys until he's considered part of their "team" and Helia just goes along with it because their the funniest group of people he's ever met, and eventually they become friends and now Helia is a member of the guys™

Ok so. Someone said this was the plot of a fan fiction and at first I was like “Sansa and Sandor?” But if you read the rest of this lady’s tweets on it you’ll also find out that while they’re waiting for their bags at baggage claim, there’s just a single skateboard going round and round in a sad circle on the luggage line.

And I was like “no that’s too silly for Sansan” but you know what it’s not too silly for??? Marianne and the Bog King. So… thinking about that as a fun little fanfic.

the majority are from school because it is my 8 hour prison where I am forced to have social interactions with people

Lockwood loudly, monotone: we were inspired by many things. Mountains. Forests. Cities. and Detroit.

Lockwood: we all share the same sun, so why don't we all share the same clothing brand?

~

Holly: why is that child in the sand. its torso. it's up to its torso in the sand.

~

Kipps gleefully, watching a musical recording at top volume in a city bus: they all hate me. they're all gonna hate me. oh, they all hate me.

George, angrily: you bought a typewriter?! you could have bought sonic frontiers!!

~

Holly: do not mimic the way people talk! do not mimic!!

Lucy, jokingly: do you like to mimic, Lockwood?

Lockwood: yes-

Lucy: PFF-

Lockwood, rocking in chair, tapping foot, and laughing manically: we are so NORMAL!!!

[Lockwood and George missed the ride Lucy was on]
