Growing apart from some friends is an inevitability, maybe it is too early to think about it, and i've already been through this... thing many times, causing me great mental distress, it's just. Something that's always looming over the horizon, maybe not within the next decade, but eventually life will scatter us in different directions. And even the everpresent internet connection won't help us, we will be too tired, we will be too busy, and some to my dismay may even start their own families, have kids etc. To me it's always felt like i am going to walk this road alone forever, even though i can easily imagine my friends getting into relationships eventually and getting their happy endings, i cannot imagine it any other way. But then there's me not quite at the point where i feel i know that somebody who is going to walk alongside me, even though i have a few candidates who will all eventually fall to hetero marriage. It's cool. I need to get to know more gay people irl. But that is not the cure, is it
