I feel like it’s implied that Andre doesn’t live in the USA/canada. So does he have an accent?…..brain rotting rn…
Oh yeah he’s never left Mexico!
I’ve never mentioned his family or upbringing before but he’s from a wealthy family. His parents are hospital equipment salespeople. They’re nice people with four kids.
They went to an international private school + university so Andre is fluent in English with a Spanish accent.
It goes:
Eldest daughter, 26: Lives in San Francisco and goes to design school. Has a popular YouTube channel.
Andre, 25: lives away from home. Only visits on holidays. They think he’s depressed and naturally a bit of an asshole, but he turned out OK.
Middle daughter, 22: Lives at home. Very smart. Very shy. Studying to be a veterinarian.
Youngest son, 13: accident baby. EMO. Going through the same rebellious phase that Andre did, so now everyone is overcompensating by giving him too much attention. He just wants to play Pokemon Go and Minecraft in peace.

Hi! Not sure if anyone asked this already, if so you can just ignore this, but how would Andre react to a darling that was completely chill with being kidnapped?
“Really? Nothing?” Andre said, slightly bewildered.
Not that he expected an answer.
Your lips were curled beautifully around a ball-gag, probably aching from how long it’s been there. He had you kneeling on his bed, bare thighs pressed together to allow your wrists ample room to be chained to your ankles. Vast expanses of exposed skin caught the afternoon light, while the rest was hugged by pale, expensive lingerie.
The lacy bra dipped low, made from transparent mesh and straps that covered nothing. Frills and veils adored your form, tailored specifically to accentuate your curves in the most sensual (and purposefully embarrassing) way possible. Your thong rose up high on your hips, drawing ones eyes down to the prize that hid beneath your tightly closed legs.
His gaze lingered there, before taking the scenic route back up your body. “I really thought you’d put up a fight.”
Your expressionless gaze met his. Not a semblance of anxiety.
Andre paused. “Do you have depression? I’m not letting you kill yourself.”
You didn’t outwardly react. Your breathing remained slightly elevated, as it had when he first locked the chains around your wrists, but that was the extent of it.
He hummed in thought.
Another moment passed before his expression smoothed out. He smiled lazily and shrugged. Andre put his hands on your shoulders and pushed you flat on the bed.
“Oh well. Lift your hips for me.”

He would push your buttons at first, but soon take your lack of rejection as affection. This man would hang off you at all hours if you were chill.
And the slightest slip of emotion? He's on it like a bloodhound.

He definitely uses sexual gratification as a manipulation tactic, but it's not hard cut. The give-and-take in the bedroom is equal once the relationship is solid.
But upon first kidnapping, he's an absolute BITCH. His thought process is like, "I own you, so I'll take care of you even if you hate it. Look at how cute and powerless you are."
He encourages good behavior using a myriad of things, from normal clothing to alone time to foods from her home country to, yes, sex favors.
While noncon is a huge part of his turn-ons, an important element is that Darling gets off too. His whole point is that he controls her, and if he wants her to feel good then she will. And he does want that, a lot.
Once Andre and Darling get settled into a comfortable relationship, the noncon will drop off entirely. He'll periodically pass on some reminders that Darling is his, forever, but their romantic and sex lives are fulfilling. Andre is a bastard and Darling will never be able to live a normal life, but he cares deeply.

I'm not going to say a hard yes or no to your question, because if you want to imagine them as platonic then by all means.

You probably wouldn't know if Andre was a platonic yandere. Ever.
Man is the definition of a social recluse, so even if he was absolutely obsessed with you, he'd feel more comfortable watching from surveillance cameras. Kidnapping is unlikely unless you were completely self-destructive, and even then he wouldn't show his face so you could leave someday.
Unlike his spouse, where he would be fiercely jealous and possessive of their company, Andre is much more liberal with their platonic Darling's time. He's content with just watching.
Expect your applications to schools and scholarships to be approved. To score jobs after the first interview. For friends that were bad influences to disappear suddenly. For lots of police to patrol the area you live in.
You think you're the luckiest person alive, not knowing it's actually the dude you see every month or so at your favorite cafe.
Just don't give him a reason to intervene.
Sunny has great platonic yandere potential!
He'd be heavily involved in your life. From youth summer camp director to college campus support group leader to local association of young working professionals founder. Sunny is there.
Getting his followers to befriend you would be super easy. Everyone likes friends, especially when they're so happy and earnest. Meeting Sunny is a natural thing that opens up a lot of doors for you, so you'd be stupid not to go to his dinner parties.
I doubt he'd kidnap you. There's literally no need. Even if you two aren't best friends or mentor/mentee, he's still at all your friends hangouts. Still at your work. Still everywhere.
He'd offer you a place in his "group." Depending on your stance on religion or how perceptive you are, it would be framed as a business, religion, or support group. Regardless, he could use your help, and all your friends agree.
Sunny is a good platonic yandere. He'd make sure none of the burden of his obsession falls on your shoulders. You won't even know you can't leave.

Heya! The story person again, let’s call me (Dead Men’s) Bells for now
So here’s my general plan: I want to write a novel if I can manage, with all the terrible horrible bullshit Andre would do in there.
“The Will to Break”
Generally I’m planning to focus on the slow and steady mental break down and dehumanization that would go down, really get into the desperation of it all.
Some thoughts I’ve had so far (nsfw, no con, degradation):
“You’re fucking filthy aren’t you? I didn’t know a bitch could get this wet while being electrocuted.” I felt his fingers swipe along my underwear, pressing down against me. I clawed at the collar around my neck, but I couldn’t feel my fingers let alone unlatch the damn thing. I hate him. I hate him. I hate myself more. The pathetic sound I make when he slides his fingers in disgusts me. Shame wells up and sears my chest. I’m crying unbidden and he’s fucking laughing. He grinds against my thigh and I sob at how hard he is, at what comes next. His fingers move in me like a brand. And I wish I could voluntarily pass out.
“Stop- please Andre, please.”
But he doesn’t listen. He never listens.
Something like that!
Anyhow what names would he call you? Should I reel it in a bit?

Just a note on his character (that's hard to convey through my usual writings/art), is that he's totally smitten with MC. Yes, he does really deplorable things, but in like a cuteness aggression sort of way.
in the beginning, he's like
60% "you're mine, I can do what I want to you, I want your mind on me 24/7, I get sexual and emotional gratification knowing you're dependent me" and the secret 40% "shes so fucking cute i need her now in every possible way."
and the latter percentage increases exponentially the more he gets to know the MC.
So i really love what you have so far!! It shows he's a nasty piece of shit that's totally obsessed with this girl's every reaction.
To answer your question, he's very patronizing. He will use cute names like "sweetheart, honey" to coax a reaction, then throw it back in her face by calling her his dog, slave, pet, whore, etc.
He doesn't raise his voice, either. Just goes straight to the shock collar (to constrain) or embarrassing and slow punishments.

Aww I’m always so amazed that people think about Andre outside of this blog 😭 It was actually someone in my inbox telling me that they think about Andre all the time that got me out of my blughxreader-block lol! So thank you—it’s one of my favorite compliments.
To Andre, the sweetest sound you can make is saying his name.
He’ll make you say Master or Sir, or have you reiterate that you’re just a slave and pet under his ownership, but that’s exclusively during sex and punishment. Most of the time he’d rather you call him by his name.
Its hard to explain why. While he disgustingly obsessed with you and wants you bend to him in every possible way, Andre also wants an equal partner and (with some darlings) a friend.
He doesn’t like the distance “master” and“sir” bring in non-sexual settings. (Although he feels like it bridges gaps during sex because you’re succumbing to how good you feel.)
Furthermore, sex slowly becomes catered to your preferences. Once Andre is desperate enough for your affection, he’ll become less domineering. So he loves the submission, but he’ll lean into your preferences (after a relationship is established* lol).
