✨angel coding a program to ask david out✨
His screen goes black as lines and lines of some unknown program run across it, and fuck, he knows he should have done a proper virus scan, but this had been from Angel. Every other thing they've sent him has been useful, making his life so much easier, that he hadn't thought twice before running over the latest program they'd written for him.
Cursing, he tries to think back to the last time he backed up his computer - too long ago- as he waits for whatever malware currently wrecking havoc on his hard drive to stop. Their email account must have been hacked or something. He should have texted them to check. God, he was an idiot.
Before long, the screen falls dark again, and he assumes that whatever that... thing was, it's done with its work. He makes a note to call his bank later.
Except- there's something faintly visible in the center of his screen. At first he thinks it's a smudge, but then it gets brighter, and he can recognise the shape of the letters, gothic and all caps.
WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?
The little shit.
He's already dialing them, a growl building in his throat as they pick up with an innocent sounding, 'Davey?'
"There are easier ways to get my attention than fucking up my computer."
They hum, and he can picture the shit eating grin that they're wearing, no doubt. "You really shouldn't be opening up strange programs people send to your email, really this was a lesson in internet safety-"
"Just shut up and come over. Once you fix my laptop, you can buy me a drink."
"Deal."

ANGEL AND DAVEY. You're after my heart, I am ALWAYS thinking about them (was writing a little more with them today too with another wip, 'how to pamper your werewolf', as I'm a softie and my titles are always on point-)
But ANYWAY, back on topic >:3 Angel literally makes him a widget for excel, that quickly and easily makes comparisons and visualise data, and that's just it. David's sold.
(I also hc'd that Angel taught him some basic web languages after designing the Shaw company website in canon, so that he can easily tweak and update the layout, and he's just. In love with their passion and the way their eyes light up as they walk him through it. ;u; <33)
