i guess I'm gonna finally do this list seeing as I finally finished the series (although I did skip through the last episode when it originally came out)- I'm still watching the Friendship is Forever clipshows though. It's funny how I finished the last episode right before the coronation in real life.

Wow, I can't believe I have so many! In the early days of MLP there weren't many pairings other than Spike x Rarity Still not sure whether to include pairings I don't like on these lists- I was debating this before (but didn't include the one I don't like in my South Park pairings list) and I have a few that I don't like for this show lol

Daughter of Discord but Queer is basically what I’m going for ✨ and also a lot of my changeling lore will be incorporated into it because I find them interesting

Some aspects that I will including into this

- fluttershy and discord will NOT be toxic like oh my god BOD did the both of them WRONG 😭

- Screwball will be openly pansexual and genderfluid, and Mothball will be bisexual and gender nonconforming

- Rarijack will be a ship instead of Applejack x Spike (EW) and Rarity x Fancy Pants

- I’ll probably be changing a few of the ships/context to match up more with the actual show instead of strictly following the BOD/DOD timeline since even I’m sure DF would’ve portrayed things differently had she started writing during the show’s later seasons

- I will try to have Twilight serve a more important role as Screwy’s mentor/unpaid babysitter

- The changelings will function as a tyrannical monarchy and Chrysalis’s Royal title will instead be Empress instead of Queen

- They will also be a conservative matriarchy, to help shoe in just how out of place mothy will feel once he enters Equestria with how everything feels backwards/frightening to him

- I’m replacing Dinky’s role with Flutterby Lily (who I have renamed and redesigned to be Lily Sterling) because Dinky felt really dull to me and Flutterby was meant to be a childhood friend of Screwy in the og fic

- that reminds me I also designed Apple Blossom into Bloomin’ Apples and she is now Big Mac and Sugar Belle’s daughter

What do the Thirdverse Mane 6 couples do for their dates, when not preoccupied with work and their kids?

Twilight Sparkle x Sunburst: They have a sort of book club that’s just the two of them, where they both read a book and then take one or two days a month to write a thesis together on it. They get extremely passionate and in depth about it, with a number of papers easily exceeding 50 pages. I would imagine they publish some that they especially want the world to see but not always; it’s all in good fun as an intellectual bonding activity. It really brings them closer together as they engage in healthy debate and learn more from and about each other. Also they still love to go antiquing together just like in the show!

Applejack x Sugar Belle: They send the kids on a few days away with Big Mac or Apple Bloom and they take the kitchen to themselves for a baking weekend! It’s a passion both of them share and I think they’d spend the time not only discussing different recipes but also the goings on of their life and their personal values and whatnot. Much like when they were dating; it makes for a healthy and communicative relationship. The kids would certainly come home to tons of apple-flavored treats to enjoy (and even some with other flavors thanks to Sugar’s more varied palate)!

Rarity x Filthy Rich: Rarity would 100% love to take extravagant trips so she and Rich would absolutely go on a lot of those, distinct from obligatory travel for business or other high society commitments. They do bring their kids along, not wanting to leave them to miss out on any once-in-a-lifetime memories, but they hire a babysitter/nanny to come with them so they can reserve some of the itinerary for just the two of them. There are pretty much endless opportunities for what they could do together, depending on where they travel to. Rarity and Rich thrive on these experiences giving their relationship so much variety, but with how busy they are all the time, I imagine they’re also happy to spend a date night alone at home with wine and rose petals.

Rainbow Dash x Big Macintosh: I can see Big Mac loving nothing more than to lie back against a sturdy old tree and watch his radiant love perform dazzling tricks in the sky. Rainbow Dash loves the attention of course, knowing she’s admired so much for her talents, but I imagine she would also wish he could join her up there. Thus leading to her trying to carry him with her (she’s so strong yet so small - would she succeed?) or otherwise looking for some other way to get him up there. Big Mac would appreciate that even more than the stunts she performs, the fact she thought about him. If not that, they might race around with Dash flying through the trees and Big Mac running along with her, letting loose for some good lighthearted fun.

Fluttershy x Quibble x Pharynx: Nature hikes or weekend camping trips would be their favorite pastimes; they sometimes go with the kids and sometimes without. Fluttershy has lots of fun talking about all the fauna and flora while Quibble is enjoying learning new things, definitely taking notes along the way. All the while Pharynx is playfully joking about being their bodyguard, even going so far as to stand outside of the tent and keep watch at night. (I’ve recently developed the headcanon that only juvenile changelings need regular sleep and that adult changelings can stay up for days).

Pinkie Pie x Tempest Shadow x Luna: Since all three of them have a sense of humor in some way, I think they might enjoy lighthearted, harmless pranking sessions even as grown middle aged mares. Or they’d have dates at Sugarcube Corner, like Pinkie and Tempest before they became official, which holds even more meaning because Pinkie no longer lives there so it’s nostalgic for her. They would also love stargazing or watching fireworks (created by Tempest herself). Luna would love their nighttime dates the most, and she and Tempest would both find it adorable how enamored Pinkie gets with the colorful lights or how she always seems to find unexpected and unique constellations among the stars.

I started writing this atleast 5 years ago & it’s been sitting in my drafts since then so maybe I should actually try to finish this seeing as I just finished the series?

Favourite pony/character, out of the Mane 6 & in general and favourite villain!: I can’t really pick a favourite. I probably would’ve said both Spike & Rarity before (even though Spike isn’t a pony lol), Fluttershy used to be one of my favourites, Pinkie Pie is probably the nicest character, I also like Starlight Glimmer...*cough*kindamywaifu*cough*. As for villain...hmm maybe Discord or Tirek? Least favourite character(s): I’m not sure I even have a character that I hate. I used to not be keen on the CMC because they made the show feel more childish & they got so many episodes (and Applebloom was overrated for some reason)- but they did grow on me- they’re good kids. Which pony do you think you’re most like?: I guess Fluttershy because I’m shy How about favourite pet that the Mane 6 own?: Angel Bunny and Tank the tortoise Favourite episodes: It’s hard to pick a favourite honestly. I used to like Season 1 the best but there is so much more to enjoy. I also really liked the Spike x Rarityness in Secret of my Excess. A few I can think of: some from season 1, May the Best Pet Win, Magic Duel, The Cart Before the Ponies, The Perfect Pear, & stuff Idk. Least favourite episodes: I used to not look forward to the CMC episodes because there were so many of them & I wasn’t really interested in them- they’ve grown on me though. I’m also more of a fan of the slice of life episodes over the 2 parter stuff or “arc” stuff but some of the “arcs” & 2 parters have been enjoyable aswell (I liked Starlight Glimmer’s story). Some episodes I don’t like that much: She’s All Yak, Flutter Brutter, Maybe 28 Pranks Later because they were a bit hypocritical, Father Knows Beast & Going to Seed for what I believe to be errors... Shippings you like: Spike x Rarity has always been my OTP! It was even one of the things that got me in to it in the first place aswell as the characters. I also like: Big Mac x Sugar Belle, Fluttershy x Discord, Applejack x Rarity, Starlight Glimmer x Sunburst, Bright Mac x Pear Butter/Buttercup, Cranky Doodle x Matilda, Maud Pie x Mudbriar, Lyra x Bon Bon, Cadence x Shining Armour, Mayor Sunny Skies x Petunia, Applejack x Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle x Flash Centry, Twilight Sparkle x Timber Spruce, Pinkie Pie x Cheese Sandwich. I also liked Big Mac x Marble Pie, Big Mac x Fluttershy, I remember putting Rainbow Dash x Fluttershy & Twilight Sparkle x Pinkie Pie together too, Big Mac x Cheerilee was ok, Starlight Glimmer x Trixie is ok, Applejack x Rainbow Dash is ok, and Spike x Sweetie Belle makes more sense than Spike & Applebloom... Shippings you don’t like: Never liked Spike x Applebloom- it made 0 sense & I think people only put them together because they were Sparity haters. I don’t like Spike x Gabby if it gets in the way of Spike x Rarity. I also don’t like Yona x Sandbar, Applebloom x Tender Taps, Ember x Throax. Don’t really like Spike x Ember or Rainbow Dash x Zephyr Breeze either. Didn’t really get Pinkie Pie x Discord or Spike x Applejack? Favourite song(s): I could come up with a list of songs that I like but here a few favourites: Babs Seed, Flawless, Open Up Your Eyes, What my Cutie Mark is Telling Me, You’re in My Head Like a Catchy Song, Spike’s song for Rarity, Smile. Also: Art of the Dress, Blank Flanks Forever, Find the Magic from Equestria Girls, Cutie Mark Crusaders theme song (the actual music is good even if the singing is bad lol), Raise this Barn, In Our Town, Best Friends until the end of time...

🦄 Yeah, Fluttercord is a very canon thing. It was briefly confirmed (or at least very heavily implied) that they got together in the series finale's timeskip. Also, about that Big Mac x Fluttershy thing, the final season has a full episode dedicated to the proposal, and another to the marriage, between Big Mac and a character first introduced in the season six premiere, Sugar Belle (not to be confused with Rarity's sister Sweetie Belle). 😅 Sorry for crushing your childhood OTP Angel-
