I have friends in this area, and they have taken me on boat rides (similar to a paddle-pushed canoe) several times along the Ganga (river). So I have an appreciation of boats in the area, and doubly appreciate the title of this Christian bhajan, using the metaphor of “The Support of Jesus is my Boat ...”
