I thought it was criminal to post the comic strip and not the video I made it for. So here is the tiktok of the Villain Tadashi concept I’ve been obsessed with lately. Some people asked for my headcanons so I put them in the tags!

Design is by me! Concept is from a different tiktok video about a fan altered BH6 ending. I live here now.

TELL ME WHY I ONLY JUST REALIZED THE PARALLEL IN BH6 WHERE HIRO LOOKS AT HIS OWN REFLECTION. ITS GLORIOUS

In this scene, when Hiro and Tadashi are midair, Hiro looks at his reflection. On a base level, he's experiencing the joy of weightlessness and catching air time on a red vehicle. But, he's also excited and still in the mindset that this is one of the most exciting thing he's ever done. He hasn't developed resolve as a character, and hasn't found anything concrete in his life. This moment where he whoops just from the air time shows his innocence.

And then, after Tadashi's death and the formation of Big Hero 6, he finds himself here again: experiencing the same joy of flying and weightlessness (and he's riding a red vehicle, LOL). It's different, though, because now he's grown. He's not relying on Tadashi, he's relying on himself. He's grown as not just a character, but a teenager who's understanding how life doesn't always go the way that you plan. He's still excited, but it's more internal here, because he's gained more deep thoughts and feelings from the experiences he's gained from his friends, Callaghan, and the loss of his brother.

It's such a great parallel that's so easy to miss. It's not long, not thrown in your face quite so much, but it's just a moment almost for Hiro himself, not the audience. It's just a moment for him to see how far he's come and for him to be proud of it.

Yes, I know this isn’t Kingdom Hearts fan art (what I usually post) but I love Big Hero 6 just as much🥲

Funny story, but BH6 is actually what started my interest in Kingdom Hearts. Being obsessed with BH6, naturally my sisters and I wanted to watch everything associated with it. So we saw that there was a BH6 in KH3. Now, we knew NOTHING about KH except that it was a Disney video game. But we decided to watch only the BH6 cutscenes.

Naturally we were a bit confused 🤣 but we enjoyed it nonetheless. For a couple of years, it remained the only KH-related thing we watched. The more we rewatched it, though, the more curious we became about the rest of the series. So we started watching cutscenes from the rest of the games. 😁

Side Note: I feel like having Dark Riku as the Organization member in the BH6 world made the story more confusing than it should have been, for us anyway. At the beginning Sora’s all like, “I’ve gotta tell Riku what a blast this place is” and the next thing you know, Riku shows up and he’s the bad guy?? So we had it wrong and mistakenly had this idea that Riku and Sora had been best friends throughout the series (which yes, of course, they are) but Riku randomly switched sides halfway through KH3 and Sora wasn’t all that surprised about it?? 😂

Just thought it'd be funny to point out that Big Hero 6 and Globby are guilty of doing the superhero poses/superhero landing at times (and I know there are more than the ones here ;) ). It'd be funny if Baymax also pointed out how the landing isn't good on the knees. XD (At least Globby doesn't have to worry since he doesn't have actual knees anymore because he has no bones or muscles ;) ).
