I saw a post the other day that I couldn’t reblog because OP has me blocked (Very Fair) but I haven’t stopped thinking about it actually so I’m just gonna paraphrase it here
It started with OP complaining about the “Lu” nickname replacing “Weegie” in the Mario movie, because the whole context behind the “Weegie” nickname is it’s what Mario’s been calling Luigi sense they were babies (because the hard L is a hard sound for babies to make) so it’s like a nostalgic/sentimental comfort
Then someone else comes into the post and implies maybe Mario does still use “Weegie” but in a more. Private way. Like a behind closed doors, just the two of them nickname. They went on to say because it’s Babyish and would be Embarrassing to the Bros to say in front of other people but like.
You’re going to say to me “The Brothers have secret Private nicknames for eachother they don’t use in front of anyone else” and expect me to be normal about that? Okay.

Okay but you know what could really destroy Snow?
Seeing Lucy Gray slowly starting to fall out of love with him. Lucy Gray knowing him so well she starts to be repulsed by him. The pain and disdain and the masks she has to wear (expecially if they are in the Capitol and she depends on him) in order to survive... With him because she has no other option. Lucy Gray, who put trust above everything, slowly starting to lie to his face, to hyde the fear and the pain behind fake smiles to make him happy with her.
And he will see this. He will see because, as always, as they are connected by the stars, as they are both performers, he can read her as she can read him. He can see her pulling back from their love story.
So. He may think that he want her to be caged, because so he can feel safe. But in reality he can not. In reality, he needs her to choose him. Everyday. They have to be a team. They have to be alone against the world (even if that means they have to perform to find a place in that world). He has to know, to feel sure, to feel warm about the fact that his Lucy Gray wanted him and wanted to be with him in the same way he wanted to be with her.
He has to be sure they truly love each others.
Or he is going to be insane. After all, he already did. One trace of doubt - he lost it. He lost it so bad.
But betrayal in a so giant way is a thing; a thing that set him in a rage, that make him spiraling without control and do despicable things in a matter or seconds.
Slowly see your only love slowly fade away? This is another type of pain who can drive one mad in a more subtle way, because he still had hope he can just fix things and surerly he will do it. Just a little time. Just a little patiente. He will do it. But in reality she fade. More and more far away. And panic arise, day by day.
So yeah, Coriolanus Snow was a boy in love, and as a boy in love (the first time I must add) wanted to cage her loved one, to control her. It's normal to feel this way when you love someone, because you want the other one to love you the same. But it's a passing thought, not a real one, because physical possesion doesn't mean owning someone's feelings, and he knew this. Deep down he knew. And he wants Lucy Gray's love above everything else.
Seeing her simply perform their love story to him will be too much.

I’m thinking silly little thoughts about cowboy Steve taking you to this little secluded lake he found on a horse ride the other day when it’s a blistering hot day and he’s leant up by a tree trunk and gnawing on a piece of dry grass watching you in the water with a linen singlet and underwear on, and you’re trying to get him to come join you but he says he’s “enjoying the view from right here darlin’” and you get a bit more playful and start teasing him and taking your singlet off your shoulder and saying “oh but it’s just so nice and cool” and he starts smirking and saying things like “be careful now, you’re gonna get in trouble” but also adjusting himself slightly and you catch on and pull your singlet right off and the boy just boosts it right to you to teach you a lesson about public nudity
oh he’s SO torturing your tits when he gets over there. because if you want them on display for him so damn bad then he’s gotta be able to play with them, too, right? he’ll sit you on his lap and keep you still with his hands while his lips and teeth have their way with you. makes you keep your hands behind your back because they’re wildly distracting when they’re in his hair. and you know not to mess his hair up, don’t you, darlin’? or does he have to teach you your lesson about that, too?

Hey guys! Didn't know i had to say this, but tracing my artwork and posting it online casually is something that I do not want - trace it all you want for practice, but i don't appreciate having my artwork replicated and shown on social media for your enjoyment.
My work isnt a meme, and even if i draw funny jokes, don't trace it with the intention to post. Please respect artists, and be kind to others as well 🩷

oh to be the court wizard with a gruesome reputation to a tyrannical ruler, a glass canon who could disintegrate a dragon with a glance, spark a wildfire with a breath, bind anyone to my will with just a few words- still absolutely submissive to and besotted with my liege, allowing them to use me as their weapon on the battlefield and as a toy in their chambers.

Had circumstances been just a little different, Anne Boleyn might still have lived. Had she produced a son, Jane would have been a passing distraction, Anne's enemies would have been silenced, and her fiery character might again have seemed, at least at times, beguiling to Henry. During the course of their brief marriage, which lasted just over three years, there had been many fluctuations. After the final miscarriage, Anne fought back, saying she had been frightened by Henry's accident, but also broken-hearted at his paying attention to another woman. This kind of criticism was not something Henry was prepared to tolerate in a wife; one of Katherine's strengths, as she herself acknowledged, was that she had never shown any sign of animosity or distress in response to the king's infidelities. Henry and Anne's relationship had been a genuine love-match, however, and the volatility which helped bring about the extraordinary events of the break with Rome remained a part of their relationship ever after.

holy shit ur so right with the i love it when … lose at their own game and end up… tag
^the tag in question
YESS. IT'S SOME GOOD SHIT, it fits buckbucky so well. watching the typically reserved, quiet one absolutely ruin the rowdy loud–mouthed cocky one, taking them apart with uncharacteristic confidence and harshness. seeing the switch from the bratty retorts and cheeky grins and bright eyes, to slipping composure and quiet needy noises and eyes glazing over with tears. good fucking soup. <3

weird and surprising and probably far too parasocial emotion i keep feeling in the aftermath of all this Wilbur Stuff is like a lot of anger?
obviously part of it is on shelby's behalf because she's the focus here but also rage on behalf of everyone who supported him and rage on behalf of all of the talented and passionate people in this community and rage on behalf of my younger self who was so charmed by him and his talent. rage on behalf of every positive memory i associated with him and his creation that now feels tainted
