This new Arknights game mode is unfortunately not good at all. There are a lot of neat things going on but the systems that you have to navigate are awful. First off the tutorial gives you all of 0 idea of what's happening, and even worse gives you false expectations on how things actually work. The goo smoothie thing? Ya you're not filling that up for a looong time.

Then you start with absolutely nothing and have to figure out how to make anything work. You get your rice fields going and then bam enemy raid is here but it's spiders and you didnt built your base right so the spiders blow up half your stuff. Then the next raid comes and it's just a completely unwinnable fight if you don't already have a big fortress and a bunch of buffs. Which you dont because you just started.

The story? Idk, it's probably fine but good looking actually getting to see it. Some kind of journal would help tremendously in keeping track of all the little tidbits of quests or info we get from various NPCs.

Guess it's inevitable that one of their limited time game modes wouldnt be a banger, but it's sad that it's this much of a mess. I'll play enough to get the Pallas skin and then probably abandon it.

things I've learned about painting my nails;

• too much overcoat can and will melt your nail polish, making it splotchy and all around messing up ur nails. it's best to just apply one coat.

• if nail polish is. dry { ??? } that means it's gone bad and you should probably stop using that bottle { learned that one recently }

• applying layers too thick will fuck up ur nail polish too. did this one multiple times before learning

• overcoat makes it easier to remove nail polish around ur nails.
