I’m fascinated by the NARM convention in 1979 held in Miami. (National Association of Recording Merchandisers) Cher and Gene Simmons hosted it and were a couple at the time. 🤯

All 4 Gibb brothers were in attendance and performed as well as having Yvonne, Linda, and their Mom and Dad on stage!

I'm too tired to make this make sense but has there ever been a band that underwent a metamorphosis as radical as Fleetwood Mac?

I bought and played to death the FM album with Peter Green, featuring "Black Magic Woman" (yes, the song Santana made a mega-hit) when they were a British blues band. Then they lose Peter, move to California, pick up "the chicks" and turn into a platinum pop act?

I dunno, maybe the BeeGees going from folk to pop to disco back to pop comes close.
