Here’s my piece for @hellenite’s zine for her amazing and brilliant Event Horizons fic series!!
For those of you who don’t already know, Event Horizons is a series of fics featuring osmp!beeduo in space! It’s an emotional rollercoaster that had me both giggling and sobbing my eyes out- with phenomenal world building to boot! I highly suggest you go give it a read if you haven’t already.
I had a really good time working on this zine, everyone involved are super skilled fantastic artists who were a joy to worth with, so be on the look out for when the zine finally drops!! ^-^

Since twitter is being a cesspool, what do you think are the chances of me getting maimed for making a beeduo zine here on tumblr? I'm asking you specifically because 1) I think you're dope and 2) because I trust your judgement.
Omg, a beeduo zine could be so cool! I would love to see that happen! I am wailing at the walls at the knowledge that yeah, you'd probably have to tank the fear of cancellation to promo it on twitter, but I know there are LOTS of people here on tumblr who love Beeduo. There's a camp that's super into romantic, we have people who love slash ambiguous, I think a bunch of people are still enjoying the aro4aro beeduo vibe, there's a contingent of beeduo in gay divorce lovers— admittedly a) the fandom has contracted, but I know a lot of people still love beeduo, b) you might either have to pick a tone or end up with a Real Assortment Of Types of Beeduo, but oh man.
Anyways that was all over the map but I think you could definitely find a beeduo zine would be welcomed here, and I'd love to promo it too. The combo of tumblr culture, the actual cc's being adults now and well moved away from the characters, and dsmp sort of being neighbours with both hermitcraft and qsmp (which are more chill about the prospect of character shipping), has made it so that, as far as I've seen, people are chill about beeduo here. I might be in a bubble of based people, but that's what I've seen.
Tell me more about it! Are there themes? Art or fic? Both? What would you be going for?

I have this one c!Beeduo concept I’ve been kinda sorta playing with but I suck at writing cranboo and also the main plot just isn’t a place where I think it’s any good so, maybe one day but probably not soon
🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?
There’s this c!purpled parody fic idea I had, of those “purpled goes to hermitcraft” type deals. But because of zine work I’m probably not gonna get around to writing it any time soon

The first part of the schedule is done and ready to go!
Further information, (such as dates of check-ins and reveals) will be posted after consulting with accepted contributors, as we feel that it is important that artists and writers have a say in how fast they are to work.
The current estimation is that the zine will be completed early next year, but it it subject to change.

At long last, the beeduo zine is out!! Here's the link in case you wanna see the whole thing :)
I wanted to draw Tubbo patching up Ranboo. I think we generally talk about Ranboo patching up him or just helping him with his scars, but I wanted to explore a more somber look at the alternative. What I couldn't draw was the faint sound of the radio in the background, the host rambling about stars and our existence between them. What I couldn't draw was the warmth of the bathroom, so that none of them would be cold. What I couldn't draw were the apologies muttered into Tubbo's hair...

greetings from snowchester is a digital beeduo fanzine i participated in this year and production has finally finished! you can read the full thing for free on gumroad as well as just my piece linked here.
i had a lot of fun writing for this zine and worked with so many talented people. i’m infinitely grateful to the mods for putting up with all my scheduling issues and can’t thank them enough for the opportunity. everyone chipped in and it was a lovely experience overall :))

Home, For Better or For Worse — ranboo and tubbo in their snowchester cottage during a blizzard, aching and tired and in love.
Want a Cigarette? — tubbo, sharing a cigarette with schlatt, wilbur, and quackity at three different points in his life. introspection ensues (note: this one’s probably gonna be updated in the future to be much much longer)
Mindless Wonder, What Do You Create? — hermitcraft, from the perspective of the server itself. watching is just as good as being, sometimes.
Exposure — wilbur on the skyblock island and slowly losing his mind.
Laundry Day — a study on grief and moving on with tubbo. set in snowchester a little while after ranboo’s death.
Resolve — beeduo, set in the mansion and full of dialogue and ranboo’s inner thinking.
Upon the Stone I Stand — very short visual study of monument valley, mostly just playing around to see how far i can push myself in such a short wordcount.
that stolen crevasse — wilbur and niki sitting together in pogtopia, thinking about the future. the dialogue isn’t as good as my recent stuff but the environment is really the only thing that matters
a goodbye, of sorts — tommy and niki having a conversation after wilbur commits suicide.
