The glacial lakes in Canada's first national park have some of the bluest water you've ever seen. Even if you're not particularly outdoorsy, you can still admire the views from one of the cozy and luxurious lakeside lodges throughout the park, like the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

i've read of girls who do things such as "appeal to the male gaze" for the sake of social status, and the unique female pattern of autistic masking is one picked up from necessity for social survival in a landskape which is uniquely cruel to girls. being socially aware means understanding how you are interpreted through very pedantic and superficial status-indicators, like your income background, race, nationality, complexion and presentation. "learning how to play the game includes understanding the rules" so-to-think. because i am a white woman who is rather neotenous and close to the standard of beauty, i have a unique set of social expectations to apply myself to and meet in order to reap the equally unique set of benefits hence associated with my circumstances.

women are granted a unique sense of clearance and "character customization" with the standardization of makeup and hair coloring. i color my hair with blonde balayage highlights adopted due to their widespread popularity, and have found they give me a nice balance of color for my face which can often appear sickly blue due to my paleness, little visible veins and dark circles. utilizing numerous methods i create my persona for myself whenever i leave the house. by appealing to the role one would assume of me on a surface level, i am granted a greater level of social safety and "benefit of the doubt" that i truly am the character i am portraying. people are much kinder to benevolent young women, and the closer that one can adhere to normative standards, the more benevolent one will appear.

i like to sustain full control over my perception by others due to being unknowingly perceived as abnormal, creepy, weird, "dirty" or ugly, or just generally as "bad" throughout my life. by playing to the standards set by the others who have isolated me up to this point, i can convince others that i am a member of the peer in-group that i am, in reality, detached from. obviously this does not apply to blending in with other young women which i have not yet figured out haha
