I made a thing! It took me a few days, but I'm more than happy with the result! This is my first time animating something in so long!

⚠️MAJOR NSFW UNDER THE CUT!!⚠️

I tried to figure out how to make this a looping GIF for the longest time, but I couldn't figure it out without tanking the video quality to hell, so here’s a plain old MP4!

What are some things you like about Beardo Philip?

I like his general design. It’s aesthetically pleasing, and it really gives off the vibes of a homeless man living in a cave trying to pretend to be civilized. I find it interesting that he’s far more defensive in this time period than in the present day, likely because he had much more of a target on his back and felt far more vulnerable. The fact that he’s actually living in a cave and making his own preacher outfit is hilarious to me. His dialogue is engaging and memorable, and I love his dorky little laugh.

Facts about Amelie!

(Inspired by this really good headcanons made by @enchantedchocolatebars)

* She likes sweet things, like chocolate, candies and a lot of sugar

* Amelie loves to draw her cat, Ghost

* She tried to be perfect in everything

* Amelie IS bratty and really spoiled. She would throw a tantrum is she doesn’t get what she wants. She changes btw

* Amelie HATES seeing families without food, she takes them food and water, and sometimes read books to the kids

* She can make multiple magic: abomination, ilusion, oracle and the basic spells of the other tracks

* Loves abomination flowers

* Have some trouble with socializing because her father doesn’t want her around people without status

* She fell for Philip First. When that happens, she tries to flirt with him, but because she’s literally IN love she fails miserably

Why do you think Belos decided to take his Beardo form when confronting Luz? I know the answer can simply be, "Well, that's the form Luz was most familiar with" but he also could have taken his child form and try to hug her leg or something to gain more sympathy. Plus, she saw Kid Philip in Hollow Mind. Would have been a cool reference, but what we got was fine too. I love Beardo Philip (you can probably tell from my icon lol), so yeah.

i think that was the easiest form for him to straight up fucking lie to her in. he can put on a convincing (enough) show assuming were moving from that point in time and that hes trying to claim he was cursed. also i dont think disney execs would have let luz let a child melt in the boiling rain

Philip hates it at first, but soon finds that he can barely comprehend anything other than a desire to be fucked.

So, since I drew that Adventure Time au picture of good beardo Philip and little Luz, I have some headcanons of the story:

(this also includes the cannon adventure time and Fionna and Cake series too)

Luz and Philip:

So, instead of Philip being a bad guy, he's actually a good decent man. Caleb raised him, and didn't abandoned him. And eventually, Evelyn became his mum in a way.

Before the mushroom war, he was into a while different professions. This includes engineering, travelling and world history. He met his fiance, Rosayln, an oc I came up with.

But he obtained a mask (the emperor Belos mask) on one of his adventures with his brother. He, jokingly, out in the mask and it turned him bonkers. Rosalyn leaves him.

So after the bomb went off, he is cannon beado Philip from the Elsewhere and Elsewhen episode. He finds little Luz, who isn't a vampire yet, but is fully human.

Philip takes her in, and has to learn how to be a parent. His first gift to her was an Azura plushie, and that eventually led to Philip creating stories about The Good Witch Azura books (Azura is Fionna and cake here)

Bubble Gum: Amity

BMO: King

Yeah, let me know who you want to see as who please.

Oh, one more thing:

Philip's nickname for Luz is Bumblebee.

Would Belos and Beardo Philip get along?

I think they would get along on the surface due to their united passion for witch hunting and their determination to protect humanity. But I think that under the surface, they would resent and feel disgusted by the other. Hobo Philip would hate how far he’s had to sink, how much of his own humanity he had to sacrifice, in order to come close to achieving his goals. And worse, he would feel disappointed that it’s taken him so long to do this. I think he’d resent his elder self because of the number of humans who could be tempted and bewitched in the time that he’s dawdled.

Belos would resent what his younger self represented—a chance of finding a different or faster way to eradicate the demon realm, the path that he was already starting to go down in order to blend in. At the same time, I think he would consider the depths of his failure. During this time, he killed his brother and made the first Grimwalker. I think that Belos would consider it a time of his mistakes and loss more than anything else. The future would be his successes and the progress he makes, but right now he sees his follies reflected back at him.

Headcanon:

Beardo Philip and Camila visit Manny's and Philip's parents' grave sites and pay their respects to them.

They leave flowers as well as handwritten notes written by either them or their daughters.

At times, the two will sit and enjoy the spiritual company of their deceased loved ones while also comforting each other.

While sitting, the two will talk to them about their day and lives, which makes the couple feel as though they are still there.
