can you imagine how devastated crosshair would be to hear of tech's death ??

how crosshair gave everything to escape just enough to warn them to stay hidden , to protect omega , to remain silent about anything else he knew of clone force 99 , but then hearing tech died in an attempt to locate & rescue him because tech still considered crosshair his brother , no matter everything that had happened & the risk it called for , to learn that tech was the biggest advocate to rescue him yet died in the attempt to find him ...

just envisioning the all consuming grief driven rage crosshair would have before likely breaking down entirely

i took screenshots of tech's updated wookiepedia page so that when it comes to be in series three that he's alive , i can look back & laugh at how 'ridiculous' i was to be utterly devastated i was over his 'death'

the only speculation i will accept about the fact that both of the lenses on tech's goggles were shattered is because the bastard hemlock found them & stomped on them to make it appear worse for when he brought them to manipulate hunter

tech miraculously loosened his grapple line & swung it to catch upon a rung of the railways' pillar or some tree branch but we didn't see it because of the fog

okay so we know that tech's helmet is made to go over his goggles , they don't catch on the rims or anything thus tech's helmet would have had to come off before his goggles did if they somehow managed to whilst he fell ??

i highly doubt tech has an seal on his helmet due to it needing to be open for his goggles thus perhaps is less secure ?? we even see his goggles being moved round & nearly dislodged when he is flying with omega so they aren't very tightly on his head.

yet hemlock said 'i'm afraid this is all that I could salvage' when talking with hunter about the smashed goggles ...

so with all that air support that imperial base has & the threat any clone from clone force 99 poses so they wouldn't just leave it an unknown if tech survived thus they would search for his body right ??? but hemlock couldn't locate tech's helmet , other armour , or even parts of it , let alone his body ????? only a shattered pair of goggles ...

which is entirely probably that hemlock just finds tech's goggles because when tech is falling , it looks as if he's flipping over which makes sense if he wants to face the ground so he can find a possible handhold / grapple hold to escape & it could be a reason why his helmet may slip off with all the air rushing by same with his goggles or because he's being whipped round as he falls ?

or say tech does catch himself hitting the ground , he leaves his goggles on the ground , breaking them in hopes that hemlock's arrogance would blind him to searching more ?? assuming that hemlock would think they flew off in the fall as well ??

or maybe tech sheds his armour sporadically to throw off his trail because he's now wearing stormtrooper armour to conceal himself ??? then when wrecker , hunter , & echo come to get omega & crosshair , they get some sudden help from a stormtrooper who is actually tech underneath !

in watching the new episode the tipping point of star wars : the bad batch , i noticed that during crosshair's 'escape attempt' when the lady interrogator / doctor was telling him 'there is no escape. not in his condition.' it appears that crosshair already knows there's no escape for him , even before she explained that even if he can make it outside in his condition that hounds would be on him in minutes , & then switches the blaster to stun rather than kill her ( which , as a side note , was a very strategic move since he knew he wasn't escaping he didn't want to kill her , a rather 'a devil you know than a devil you don't' type scenario if that makes any sense )

when he arrives in the station to send out a communication , he warns the batch that they are being targeted & hunted , he tries to warn that it's omega the empire are after but it's cut off. bUT he doesn't say his location , he doesn't say he's in trouble , he doesn't give any information that would lead to his recuse. his sole worry is about telling his brothers that they & omega are in danger & to go into hiding.

crosshair doesn't expect a rescue. he didn't even try to make it about an escape when he was running , his goal was to ensure he warned his siblings about the empire's agenda.

lowkey thought crosshair was going to shoot himself when he was coughing from the toxin they filled the room with & he made to grab for the blaster. it was a fleeting thought but i was so scared for a moment because he did want he set out to do in sending a warning to the batch & i thought he would think it better if he eliminated the threat he poses to them if he cannot stand interrogation...

okay but if hemlock had tech's goggles , then they obviously did a recovery of tech's body , but if echo can survive being blown up & hemlock is talking ov cloning achievements that are seemingly 'impossible' with nala se then maybe just maybe can tech have survived that huge of a fall for them to find him & perhaps clone organs to fix the damaged ones & revive him ????? what are these impossible cloning things that hemlock wants to do ??? like they had so many bacta tanks where crosshair was being held when omega found him so why can tech not have been critically hurt but survive as echo has before ??? what if hemlock was just using tech's goggles to manipulate hunter & the rest of the batch ???

the way tech shouts 'NOW' after saying that wrecker must severe the connexion hinge , i don't think i have ever heard tech shout like that in the whole series one or two. i may be wrong because sleep deprived but the absolutely urgency & s t r e s s he places on that one word hurts my heart all the more

he knows they have less than minutes before the car is taken from the tracks by the weight of the fallen car & he doesn't want his brothers & sister to plunge to death when it can be avoided , but too he knows none of them would ever cut the line that would condemn him to die , especially not wrecker or omega

i think he realises that after he says it because he looks round , as if searching for another solution , but cannot find one thus he takes the burden form their hands & shoots it himself

how am i to write a fix - it fic when my vision keeps getting blurred by tears ???

trying to find the muse to write a fix-it fic , but i just keep tearing up thinking of tech so i try to work on my pre-canon swtbb wips because it's a time where the bad batch are all together & alive but i am beyond devastated i cannot think

in watching tombstone ( 1993 ) again , when wyatt comes to doc's bedside at the sanatorium & sees doc is 'asleep' , wyatt hangs his head after staring a moment then when doc says 'hello wyatt' , wyatt practically whips his head up in surprise... so it makes me wonder how often wyatt may have visited doc only to find him exhaustedly asleep & just sat there by his bedside with him , not playing cards or talking or anything but just sitting & providing company to his friend even though doc wasn't aware of it. & ensuring doc had a friendly face to wake up to when he did wake & someone to add a bit of entertainment / normality to doc's day as he lay in his bed with some gambling & conversation.

but just thinking about how wyatt hung his head , after witnessing the priest there giving what i think was last rites ( ??? ) like was wyatt thinking doc may not wake again ? that whilst he sat there , doc would pass on ? that he had brought that pamphlet for doc to see & had he been too late ? agdkflf perhaps not so , but just with how fast wyatt looked up when doc spoke & the look of surprise ... it's difficult not to think he was allowing the grief he'd have tried to keep private from doc each visit to show just a bit there.
