More ff16 situations that stay stuck in my brain. I enjoyed the game but man the guys were all pretty awful to their SO’s. Clive + Gav 4eva, ya know? 😂
Fiber (embroidery and beads), 12" x 12" x 1", 2021
Presented at The deYoung Open 2023 (ID #310)
Listed for $300 *
Artist statement:
This visceral embroidery piece was born out of intense emotional rawness that I experienced in the fall of 2021, as well as a curiosity in pushing the boundaries of the format of embroidery to somewhat emulate sculptural art. Embroidery and sewing has normally been used to decorate or to mend, but this piece intentionally "rips" the fabric apart.

Gather 'round as I spin some tabling tales from a small comic artist.
So we’re about 1/3 into 2024 and I’ve had two tabling events that were VERY different from each other. Let’s rewind to March…
My first event – known as Carrier Con took place on the USS Hornet across the Bay. Pretty neat, huh? I was pretty stoked, even if I had some doubts in the back of my mind about Veggielore Scrolls even fitting in a more anime and manga-centric convention.
The USS Hornet…
A pitcher plant person I never posted! Watercolor and some pencil. The past year and a half we started a couple of bog planters and are growing some carnivorous plants--sundews, pitcher plants, Venus flytraps. I just go outside and stare at them.
tabling at sjmade’s sticker fest this weekend!! bringing all my stickers & stickersheets including these newer diecuts :D see ya at table E10 if you’re in the san jose area this weekend!
Arabella is probably one of my favorite side characters who I hope gets a future story (bg4?)… though you have to successfully save her in bg3 so not sure how that’s work.
Anyways… I wanted to test out my new drawing tablet (Huion 24in!) and this is what came out of that exploration. 😁
