I really love your Power Rangers art!! Can you share your art process? :)

To start, I am mainly a digital artist and my preferred programs are Procreate on the iPad or Clip Studio on the computer!
My process begins with trying figure out what character I want to draw, what emotion I want to display, what pose, and honestly how much effort and time I want to put into it haha! I use a lot of inspiration from comics, stories, tv, and Pinterest.
Once I have a path set I begin with sketching on the canvas. The sketching phase goes through a lot of different phases and ideas. Luckily in digital art I can easily erase a whole canvas if I need to. Once a gesture is finally decided on and I’ve roughly sketched the main features of what I’m drawing I begin the line art process. My lineart is heavily superhero comicbook inspired (I have a lot of inspiration from Dan Mora!) so often my pieces are lineart heavy, and have marks and hatchings to indicate forms and deep shadows. I also use lineart to help show the texture of an object or thing (like fur or rocks) from time to time.
Once the piece is lined, I’ve recently gotten into coloring the whole figure with a solid color, and then selecting it and coloring it over with flat colors. Once the flat colors are done, I usually shade with a marker like brush. When the basic shading is done, I add any sort of light effects, filters, and any other sort of detail to help bring the piece to life. After that I’m usually done!
Sometimes for bigger pieces and things I want to dedicate more time to, I’ll make thumbnail sketches in my sketchbooks before starting it. Though I honestly don’t do this often.

hey sorry if this is silly but I've been playing tama planets and i saw your posts about it from a couple years back. do you still play it? and if you do, do you know what to do with cacao in the game?
I don't play it that much anymore, but I can still answer your question! 100 Cacao can be turned into 5 Cacoa Powder at the mill. Cocoa Powder can be used to make Chocolate Biscuits [1 flour + 10 log + 1 cocoa powder] OR trading 50 Cocoa Powder at the market will buy 5 Bitter Chocolate -- which iirc, I don't have any on hand to check, but I'm pretty sure you use Bitter Chocolate to make Chocolate Pies.
If it has other uses, I haven't discovered them yet.

Heyo, I have a bit of a prompt for ya. So I’ve seen the “Demon that wants to abduct and forcibly marry Reader,” post(s) and raise a “The local regent/king finds Reader attractive (in a way that he views her almost like a novelty than as a whole person) and offers her a position as a concubine/ ‘palace lady.’” This is a different kind of scenario because straight up murdering the king of the area is not exactly the option that’d let the journey continue smoothly and refusal could also be construed as an offense to the king, but Reader does not want to and needs to continue with them on the journey. All of the other disciples know this, and maybe can tell she’s uncomfortable (even if it’s before Wukong has really fallen for Reader, she is still someone he would consider to be his friend at the very least). How are they going to get out of this one? (Slightly inspired by the time Tripitaka was propositioned in the Kingdom of Women by the Empress.)

Tripitaka: *remembering that is the disguise they came up with for her* Yes, b-but! Why must you have her, great King!?
King: Because I have never seen a woman like her before! She is a beautiful foreign flower that I simply must have for myself! Here! I shall be merciful and send you off with another servant!
King: *gestures to his guards to find a servant*
Wukong: *reaches toward his ear for his staff*

Reader: *sees the carnage about to begin*

Reader: *sweats nervously as all knowledge of every disease she knows of decides to take a vacation from her brain at the one moment she needs it most*
Reader: In... junct... co... itis.... Injunctcoitis.
Everyone:
King: I have never heard of this Injunctcoitis. *turns to the court physician*
Court physician: Neither have I, your Majesty.
Reader: It's a northern disease! From the north! Where I'm from!
King: *looks at court physician*
Court physician: It is possible, your Majesty. *approaches Reader starts inspecting her* And what are the symptoms?
Reader: Oh, w-women don't have any symptoms. *takes a deep breath and composes herself* But for men it makes their dick fall off.
Everyone: IT WHAT!?!?!?!
Reader: Yep! After two months, yo dick just gonna... fall off. And it's a sexually transmitted disease.
King: I can't take any risk of that being true! Get them out of here before this disease spreads to the kingdom!
The Pilgrim Gang: *gets escorted out of the kingdom*
Everyone:
Reader: *sniffles*
The boys: *hugs Reader*

Who are your favorite jttw artists? I've been looking for more content lately and you seem to be dependable on these kinds of things >.>

So I would say that my current definite favorite JTTW artist would be Dongzi Liu, who's created some phenomenal Xiyouji-based pieces. Here's a small sampling that I yoinked off of his twitter:

Another artist I very much like is Chen Huiguan, who's created some really endearing presentations of the pilgrimage. Irwen Wong has a really good collection of them as part of his extremely helpful summary of Journey to the West. Here's a small sampling of the work:

random question but how would your au react to the bayverse movies?
My version of Optimus was very much inspired off of bayverse Optimus. With the whole emperor/leader of Cybertron. But I think the way my Optimus would react would probably be very different in some situations. I think my version of Optimus would be more sad in some cases. Especially the whole we can make you now thing. (Bay Optimus was sad too don’t get me wrong.) Honestly I think my Op would have taken more consideration of what would happen to cybertronian remains.
Optimus like Bay Op would also be disheartening by the governments choice how how they are treating his people. But the humans in the bayverse, you have to admit, are some ride or die mfs. Optimus would be very attached, even if they are really really stupid.
(Honestly the human girls in the bay movies are better then the main dude characters.)
Bee would be horrified that this version can’t talk. My version of bumblebee would be very mortified and disgusted by the autobots fighting style. He’s a pacifist.

Honestly I think the girls I have in my au would be better at smoothing over situations. Elita and Chromia being really essential to helping things not get out of hand. Honestly bayverse needs a women’s touch.
Both my Megatron and bay Megatron would try to kill each other.
My au of Megatron would never work with a Prime (working with sentinel is a big no no. Not even the Fallen) or humans (megatron doesn’t even speak English. Does know it, just refuses to speak it)
