B*A*P*S is a found family comedy and it made me cry. 🤧🤧🤧

It’s about how Nisi and Mickey have known each other for years and live together instead of with their significant others. It’s about how they grew to love and care for Blakemore as this paternal figure who brings them as much joy as they do him. It’s about Manley being an agent of romantic chaos and bringing Ali and James to the mansion to reunite with them. It’s about how Blakemore didn’t view Nisi and Mickey as “idiots from the ghetto” like Isaac did, nor was he mortified by the changes they made like Manley. It’s about how they enriched his life through soul food and dancing and trying to give him this fantasy they thought he’d want. It’s about how he calls them his (black American) princesses in legal print because he thinks they’re the epitome of what princesses are: sweet and beautiful and meant to be cherished. It’s about Manley, Nisi, and Mickey presumably being the biggest inheritors of Blakemore’s fortune. It’s about Blakemore wanting to make sure the three people who cared about him the most were taken care of too. It’s about Manley being distressed and rushing into the ambulance with Blakemore, his employer but someone he fretted over like a loved one. It’s about Manley not blaming Nisi and Mickey’s cooking for Blakemore’s inevitable death. It’s about how Blakemore lost the love of his life and how Nisi and Mickey were given a second chance to pursue theirs. It’s about Ali and James seeing the same painting that Nisi and Mickey did and all four proclaiming it looks like Kiesha. It’s about Manley and Tracy still being in Nisi and Mickey’s lives. It’s about Nisi and Mickey putting their faith and money into James and Ali’s business. IT’S ABOUT NISI AND MICKEY NAMING THE SALON-RESTAURANT LILY’Z. HALF HIM-HALF THEM. He thrives in their memory.

So I'm going to a 90s themed party in a few months, and I wanted to do a B.A.P.S. theme. If there are any seamstresses that know what that shiny, latex like fabric is that most of their outfits have, that would be awesome. Double if I can commission a custom piece.
