If I had a nickel for every voice actor who went from voicing a little purple dragon of a beloved children’s franchise to voicing a much larger killer dragon in Legend of Vox Machina…
Donald Glover, you've done it again, you twisted SOB! Swarm was a wild ride that I enjoyed every moment of. The commentary on mental illness, loneliness, stan culture and how absurdly far folks are willing to go for thier idols was so well executed. Theres a lot of satire in the narrative of the series, but it's crazy to know that most of the stories are actually based on true events 🤯
Salute to Dominique Fishback for absolutely knocking it out with that performance. I hope award season is very good to her 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾
Where’s the petition to upgrade Cree Summer from guest star to series regular (or at least a recurring character who shows up enough to feel like a regular)? I love her so much, and correct me if I’m wrong, but it feels like she (and other established voice artists) don’t get the regular work she once did ever since the 2010’s when network animated series began be headed by casts who are more famous for their live-action work, with professional voice artists like Cree have gone from playing the main characters to playing minor roles (that’s a whole other post). So I would love to see her on my TV on a regular basis again.
