Time Turns Flames To Embers (Rated T) [A Series of Unfortunate Events — Gen Fic] by @loveislarryislove
Summary: September 30th, 7:48am
Woke up to the sound of Violet working on her latest invention. I asked her what it is, but she wouldn’t say a thing – just that it’s important. Whatever it is, it’s enormous, taking up nearly the entire room – a great contraption of tubes and gears and beakers and crystals. Just looking at it makes me feel dizzy.
I think I’ll spend the day in the library; perhaps that will be far enough away that the clanging and banging will be somewhat muffled. Something tells me that it won’t be, though.
whiskey in a teacup (Rated T) [The 100 — Clarke Griffin x John Murphy ] by @probably-voldemort
Summary: Murphy was going to die. Any day now it was going to happen. He hadn't really come to terms with dying in a creepy lighthouse basement. He's always thought he'd have a more exciting death. But he had an unlimited amount of whiskey and a stomach that hadn't tasted even a crumb in days, so it wasn't like he was really sober enough to put too much thought into how he was going to die.
And then he starts hallucinating Clarke, who is convinced she's the one hallucinating him, and suddenly dying drunk in a lighthouse bunker isn't as boring a way to go as it had once seemed.

Alright I know the gag of people asking for spoilers has been run into the ground by this point but I think it’s still funny so here goes:
Hey can you describe the upcoming plot in very specific detail? Actually maybe you could draw it so it’s easier to follow the action. Although drawing and writing all of that at once might be a lot to handle, so you could release it in batches every once in a while instead of all at once. It would be like some sort of webcomic! Then we could read the updates and learn the plot as we get new pages! What a neat concept, am I right?
idk man, that seems like a great concept, but I'm afraid it's a bit far-fetched.
Do you really think anyone would read that? Like, pay attention to the dialogue and understand what the characters are saying? Figure out small bits of foreshadowing in order to theorize effectively about what could happen next? Consider larger themes and put them together with how the characters act to understand the author's intended meaning beyond just the surface-level, at-face-value reading and shallow interpretation of only what is immediately apparent on the page?
It feels like it could be something... but I just don't know.

Upon spotting the second chandelier dazzling and glistening near the first really confirmed how fucking fancy this particular room in Malfoy Manor was. Hermione knew that drawing-rooms were nice but had never been in one like this before, though thinking about it truly, Hermione hadn’t ever even been in a Manor before today. Hermione supposed that there was always a first for everything. Even if she was about to die today. Hermione Granger was his favourite crime and yet, Draco Malfoy would never be enough.
