women artists that you should know about!!

-Judith Leyster (Dutch, 1609-1660)

During her life her works were highly recognized, but she got forgotten after her death and rediscovered in the 19th century. In her paintings could be identified the acronym "JL", asually followed by a star, she was the first woman to be inserted in the Guild of St. Luke, the guild Haarlem's artists.

-Artemisia Gentileschi (Italian, 1593-1656)

-Marie Ellenrieder (German,1791-1863)

She was known for her portraits and religious paintings. During a two years long stay in Rome, she met some Nazarenes (group of early 19th century German romantic painters who wanted to revive spirituality in art),after becoming a student of Friedrich Overbeck and after being heavily influenced by a friend, she began painting religious image, getting heavily inspired by the Italian renaissance, more specifically by the artist Raphael. In 1829, she became a court painter to Grand Duchess Sophie of Baden.

-Berthe Marie Pauline Morisot (French,1841-1893)

Morisot studied at the Louvre, where she met Edouard Manet, which became her friend and professor. During 1874 she participated at her first Impressionist exhibition, and in 1892 sets up her own solo exhibition.

-Edmonia Lewis or also called "wildfire" (mixed African-American and Native American 1844-1907)

Edmonia was born in Upstate New York but she worked for most of her career in Rome, Italy. She was the first ever African American and Native American sculptor to achieve national and international fame, she began to gain prominence in the USA during the Civil Ware. She was the first black woman artist who has participated and has been recognized to any extent by the American artistic mainstream. She Also in on Molefi Kete Asante's list of 100 Greatest African Americans.

-Marie Gulliemine Benoist (French, 1768-1826)

Daughter of a civil servant, Marie was A pupil of Jaques-Louis David, whose she shared the revolutionary ideas with, painting innovative works that have caused whose revolutionary ideals he shared, painting innovative works that caused discussion. She opened a school for young girl artists, but the marriage with the banker Benoist and the political career Of the husband had slowly had effect on her artistic career, forcing her to stop painting. Her most famous work is Potrait of Madeline, which six years before slavery was abolished, so that painting became a simbol for women's emancipation and black people's rights.

-Lavinia Fontana (Italian, 1552-1614)

She is remembered for being the first woman artist to paint an altarpiece and for painting the first female nude by a woman (Minerva in the act of dressing), commissioned by Scipione Borghese.

-Elisabetta Sirani. (Italian, 1698-1665)

Her admirable artistic skills, that would vary from painting, drawing and engraving, permitted her, in 1660, to enter in the National Academy of S. Luca, making her work as s professor. After two years she replaced her father in his work of his Artistic workshop, turning it into an art schools for girls, becoming the first woman in Europe to have a girls' school of painting, like Artemisia Gentileschi, she represent female characters as strong and proud, mainly drawn from Greek and Roman stories. (ex. Timoclea Kills The Captain of Alexander the Great, 1659).

As big as a maine coon cat at max but in other forms (mostly feline forms) they can be actually big. But they do get tired from shifting forms and asually stay as their 1st form most of the time. Being really small about 1'2ft technically. And their tail is asually twice as long as their body.

Due to the descruction of their universe, caused by them on accident, They have become rather cheerful to mask their depression which iant that bad that they cur themselves. They also have this weird look, which happened after the experiment. Their family forgot about them and didn't even ask for them, after that they got chased by their earths spiderman for a few weeks until it happened. The universe collapsed, leaving Spawt in a dark dimension where they found a small child boredly staring.

So basically cheerful depressed Gremlin who can travel universes but not multiverses. They can also easilly go from one place to another place.

(Before the spot's white to black)

When they met spot.. it was interesting. They bonded overtime and became father and child, spot protecting them from the spidermen and miguel and spawt supporting spot anyway. Miguel had been interested because when their universe collapsed, it also collapsed two surrounding universes. That has brought alot of attention from Miguel,

Spawt's and Miguel's first encounter was not so.. nice. Miguel had slid the little disk that traps people anomalies whatever and in adittion they got restrained. Miguel just observed them as they tried to get out of the restrains but to no use.

They had been placed in the anomaly room but away from other anomalies. The spider-people were intrested in them but like 3 days after that they dissappeared with no trace. Their father aka the spot. But Spawt wanted to come back because a boy, Miles Morales had seen them and got an unknown message across with just his eyes.

That day, Spawt came to help Miles escape the spider people, mimicking his wall climbing and other powers. Miles lead them and they followed, they were a quite big snow leopard. Just as tall as miles.

Miles stood behind the white furred and black spotted feline with a spot as its face with no eyes. "Two Anomalies.. working together." Miguel muttered. Spawt buzed with electricity, And then suddenly jumped at Miguel. They stumbled across the floor and wrestled, Miguel taking the winning side for a few second before spawt took that side. They wrestled as the other spider people and miles watched with shock. Soon miguel threw off the feline and they stumbled across the floor and fell but quickly got up and defended Miles.

Their relationship with Miguel is funny, Spawt wants to fish his eyes out and and miguel does too but on rare ocassions they are not like that.

After spots Transformation, Spawt was left shocked and hurt. Spawt stormed off to the dimension Spider-Society was at and just willingly got caught. Being put in the same cell as before, restrained snd muzzled this time. Away from orher Anomalies and just sitting there in the middle of it.

“What do you mean that’s normal? Friends don’t shout at you they shout with you!”

Another moth flutters

“What do you mean it’s normal with siblings?? Areshe don’t tell me your brothers and sisters would shout” she says on, listening to a calm moth flutter and buzz on her knee

“You did? Woah,, but weren’t they sad?” She asks, looking wide eyed at the moth

“Hmmm. Having brothers and sisters is weird” she huffs, laughing as several of the moths buzz and flutter, as if joining her laughter

“I’m still not saying sorry though. He first” she says, though she bites her lip in doubt “I wish Sia was awake. She’d know what to do” she hums quietly, holding her hand to her chest a moment

It pulls back to reveal a silvery blue moth, quiet and silent, it’s little wings moving gently as if in sleep, a very slow moving pulse seen within them

She stares at them for a while, before taking a deep breath and placing them back away “No! I’m here now! And I got this! I can help Sia and Tante and all of you! I can do this!” She declares while getting up

Several of the moths dramatically rush to her neck and stomach to tickle her as she laughs, waving her hands to push them off

“Stahp! I’m laughing I’m laughing!” She giggles, holding all of them in her hands “You can go sleep now, I got this” she hums

They flutter around her, some booping her cheek or nose, patting her head or shoulders before fluttering to her chest, disappearing in a sparkle of light one by one

The last one gives a forehead nudge before disappearing too, and Odette leans down to gather her drawings, putting them in her satchel carefully before moving to the door

The same door Yellow and Green were eavesdropping at

Yellow quickly eases it closed and he and Green take up the most asual poses they can possibly imagine-

And Green's attempt to lean on the railing results in him taking a tumble down the stairs.
