a Thot™
you. stephen strange, in formal wear, sans blazer, top three buttons of a crisp white shirt undone. the chin-finger-trace he does (which is totally 100% benedict).
you stare. you can't help it. stephen looks so smart, so put-together, so distinguished. you feel saliva collect in the space between your cheeks and teeth.
he notices it. he always does. he tries so hard to stay stern, but his lips betray him and begin to irk up at the corners.
"what is it, does my baby feel needy? can't sit on your own for even a bit, huh?"
you swallow and look away.
"hey, none of that."
he doesn't like it when you look away from him, or close your eyes. it's a hypothesis you've had forever: he enjoys staring at his own reflection in your eyeballs.
it makes you giggle, softly, to yourself.
he misunderstands it completely. the slap of his palm against the expensive wool slacks makes a muted noise that forces your stare back at him.
your lip quivers.
"come here."
you obey, standing up, following his non-verbal cues when he guides you down over his knee, the sheer size of him enough to comfortably anchor you on one leg, your chest flush with his and your head on his shoulder. your breath comes out in short puffs against his collar, sending shivers up hi spine.
stephen picks up his reading, holding the book up with a levitation spell, his arm wrapped around you, stroking your back slowly, absent-mindedly.
"all better?" his voice, although soft and quiet, still reverbs in his chest.
you nod.
he shuffles, turning his focus back onto the book, and begins bouncing his leg.

hey since it's coming up again: no it's not a good thing that the government wants to ban tiktok. no you should not be glad that the government might ban tiktok. no you should not respond to this with "good riddance" or "hurry up I hate that app". I should not have to explain this to you but the government banning a social media app is still a bad thing even if you don't like the UI or booktok or having to say "unalive" or how you think it's killing the very notion of attention spans. It's still bad. It's bad.
