Another AFO study this time featuring Yoichi
Tumblr media
I really enjoyed this as I feel like I’ve really gotten used to my tablet whilst also using this as an excuse to experiment with my new water colour brush. I also used this to experiment with layout and I think it turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.

Did an artist study of @kitsuneisi beautiful Scar illustrations, and I think I definitely learnt somethings from it. It was fun and you all should go support her, she’s an awesome artist!

I stumbled across the absolutely beautiful art of @snuffysbox and was so inspired by their work specifically this one that I just had to try my hand at it. I had so much fun studying the line work and fun shapes they use in their work, and figuring out how to translate to the batch was really engaging. I honestly love how they came out, and I for one will be using some of the techniques I learned in future stuff.
Thanks to Snuffysbox for sharing your awesome skills with the world!

My Art year ft Meee~ Mostly SxF/Twiyor themed, but I did some original stuff here and there, just didn't post anywhere. Last few years were rather dry creatively for me and SxF hyperfixation got me going again :) Very grateful for having this series as moral support of sorts. Cheers 🥂and fingers crossed for more to come ✨

finished artist study!! this was so fun to do, i love all of the shapes that are used in the sketches, especially of Hawkeye and Trapper. the two of them seemed to contain more sharp lines and angles, as does the small BJ in the upper right corner. their Mulcahy is more round, i could not manage to get him correct no matter how hard i tried. ;--;
i love figuring out how an artist takes characters and turns them into their own. thank you so much, @t00thpasteface, for allowing me to be able to do this. it was such a fun ordeal.
ps. in the middle right of the screen is my own M*A*S*H OC, Leonidas. ill probably do more on him later.

cecil beaton study
Tumblr media
been looking through cecil beaton's photography today since im focusing on bright young things as part of one of my portfolio projects! soft faces and dramatic makeup are visually my favourites but technically my most challenging subjects LOLOLOL (more examples below)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also cleaned up the miles maitland profile from last night. figures i would have made a few questionable proportion choices seeing as i blasted through most my research last night 💔💔

"I remember Daisy saying, 'Hazel' – quite clearly – though no one else says they heard that.
And then she was gone."
Part 2 of my artist study series, this time taking inspiration from the magnificent @bigfatbreak to try and depict the moment Hazel watched Daisy be dragged off the boat. Her art style is incredibly expressive and it was an absolute honour to utilise it in drawing this earth-shattering moment from DSS.

Another artist study featuring Hunt and @ijltln 's Roosa. this one was a bit painful to get through with those rings on the horse but I'm very pleased with how it came out in the end.
this work is inspired by La Belle Dame sans Merci, by Frank Dicksee
