gonna be the only person who says this but i want 5up for empires 2 he would suck so bad he would be a terrible option but i think it would be funny.
why? he objectively both sucks and is the best at everything he thinks he’s so cool when he does things. he’s not wrong but he’s not right.
it would be so funny to just see an among us radish there in the middle of mythical sausage land 2 and joel unable to not build smallishbeans. he’s gonna be like yeah i’m a good builder and pale next to that.

books for all y’all book lovers
so I just downloaded the ENTIRE apocalypse suite (the umbrella academy) on b-ok.cc and i am so excited about this? i wanted to get them from my local library but they literally only have the first few and not the rest, which really annoyed me! but for all y’all book lovers, GO ON B-OK.CC AND READ TO YOUR HEART’S CONTENT.
btw i also heard of this website from tumblr so...thanks tumblr.
also i kind of want to print them all just to hAvE tHeM but my parents would probably not be happy if I printed hundreds of pages of paper...

The #UMBRELLAACADEMY #APOCALYPSESUITE portfolios are now up in the shop! . LINK IN BIO! . The portfolio includes 8.5" x 11" ea (Set of 3) 1 exclusive FOIL sticker Giclee Print Artist Edition of 50 Illustrated Envelope Signed & Numbered . I also made a new #enamelpin, #sticker, and art for the envelope. I wanted this to look as fancy as possible. . PLATE 2 . This was designed to spread over 2 pages. For the “Umbrella” piece the art director had sent over an idea of Gerard holding an umbrella. I liked the idea and just put my own spin on it. I always wanted to draw someone holding an umbrella as skulls rained down on them. Which I’m sure was 200% inspired by my art hero #MikeMignola!! I was really enjoying Photoshop with this piece. Again, I normally used the program to make jpgs. It took some courage (aka stupidity) to try it on a freelance project instead of waiting to do a personal piece. Which I never have time for. I finally figured out what the "overlay" option does in layers!!! . Normally I would’ve turned in sketches for all of the illustrations at the same time but there wasn’t much time and I really wanted to get as close to a likeness of Gerard as time would allow me. Again I only had a few days. So I turned in sketches for the other 2 illos once the cover was finished. I’m sure I could draw him in my sleep now. . I inked these as I normally do but then finished everything in Photoshop! In the 18 years that I've been a full-time freelance artist, I've done all my color and design work in Illustrator. I wanted to try something new for this. My brain is still angry with me but… as I said I'm REALLY HAPPY with the final pieces. . I fell down the “overlay” rabbit hole on this project! . Soooooo... I finished @umbrellaacad a few days ago and already needed another fix! Naturally had to head on over to @nuclearcomics for these. I managed to grab the last Vol. 1 (Apocalypse Suite) but there were a few more Vol. 2 (Dallas) even a couple REALLY NICE hardbacks. I'm about 30 pages deep and LOVING IT! Thanks @gerardway and @gabriel_ba for bringing your comic into our lives and letting Netflix bring it to our screens! Cannot wait for Season 3 of Umbrella Academy and to get my hands on Vol. 3 (Hotel Oblivion).
