Bro. I just saw a TikTok where it’s like “not everyone is going to shift” and I’m like, thinking to myself, “do you not understand how like, potentially harmful that is to some shifters?” Like, I get it, not everyone is going to be phased by that. But some might and for some reason I think that like, it’s so damaging for shifttok to be like “oh not everyone is going to shift, only some people are”
Starting to dislike/hate shifttok more and more because it’s things like that, that make shifters have their doubts. I guarantee that, if people stopped posting things like that - a LOT of shifters would doubt themselves less and less
But that’s just imo
shiftok is 90% bullshit anyway haha
yeah i would advise all shifters to just avoid it cos it really can be harmful for some people who are new to shifting maybe or just in general. I also dont see why people would post that but maybe thats just me.

I find it so SO interesting that as soon as Kazui's breaking their marriage vows and revealing his true feelings (literally tearing apart the dove), the wife is already falling off the balcony
Her hair is fluttering in the wind. The apple fucking splatters on the ground this whole sequence is so visceral I'm spinning it around in my mind. Kazui views his truth telling as a violent act, the killing blow.

I see vampire!Hua Cheng a lot and like. I get it. It makes sense. Aesthetically, it works. But that doesn't mean I agree.
The whole theme for vampires is taking. And for Xie Lian, Hua Cheng does nothing but give. Literally. Their spiritual energy transfers are kind of the opposite of how vampires work.
So instead, I raise you vampire!Xie Lian. He's a vampire who never drinks from humans, and would rather let himself starve. He exclusively drinks animal blood, even if it tastes bad, even if it's stale. He's terrified of hurting someone.
And he meets human Hua Cheng. And at some point they're in a situation™ together, and Xie Lian hasn't gotten his hands on animal blood in days. He's clearly not doing well. Hua Cheng knows he will protest, but he also can't see him like this. So, without saying a word, he draws a cut across his hand and holds it up to Xie Lian's lips.
