just realized today while rewatching heartstopper that I accidentally did a nick nelson when I was in 8-9th grade (agreeing to go out with someone bc you don’t know how to say no) and I’m fucking shook nick why are we like this

okay okay firstly. elle. like can i just say that it was so amazing how in the show we got to see her at higgs and trying to fit into this new environment?? it just. made her so much more personal of a character and we didnt really get to see that in the comics so !!!
IMOGEN DOES NOT DESERVE THE HATE ACTUALLY. she was a teenage girl who decided to shoot her shot and was actually very supportive of nick and wasnt bitchy about her rejection. she is a good person.
isaac my beloved 😭 hes just so lovable and his SMILE god i love it so much. he deserves the world actually and i cant wait to see him more in s2 and s3
tao. okay im gonna be real he was done kind of dirty in the show. i think i have this opinion bc of the way the fandom reacted to his character? like a lot of ppl just found him annoying which sucks bc hes genuinely such a caring and wonderful character and yes he has flaws and has shut to work through and thats what makes him amazing <3 tao xu my beloved <3
tara and darcy okay god i love them. i love how we got to explore their relationship and see them figuring things out and dealing with very real experiences and helping each other through it.
NICK NELSON. HIM. YES. ABSOLUTE BICON. GOD I CANNOT CONTAIN HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM. frankly hes like a little puppy. watching him go through the bisexual journey onscreen was just so so special and he and charlie never fail to make me cry
