last year i found a wii at goodwill for 25 dollars and it came with everything except a wiimote but it was in such good condition i was like hell yeah ill take it how hard can it be to find a wiimote. the answer is it's nearly impossible to find them at thrift stores now so i've spent like 8 months looking for ones in thrift stores but there wasn't a single one and then online but i just couldn't bring myself to spend 30 dollars on one single wiimote so i waited so. patiently. and then 2 weeks ago i finally found one at goodwill for 9 dollars but it was absolutely disgusting and the battery cover was missing and the compartment was all corroded so i put it back and regretted it the whole week but then this last weekend i went to savers and there was an absolutely perfect wiimote just sitting there with no corrosion and a jacket and the wrist strap and motion plus and the nunchuck was there too and i got it all for 10 dollars so the moral of the story is that sometimes things seem right for you in the moment but you have to recognize that they aren't and leave them behind so the things that are meant for you will in fact find you when the time is right. peace and love <3

it was 100% completely genuinely unplanned.

I went from a diehard rendoc shipper expecting them to be lowkey The Ship for dbhc doc (or not making doc a focus character at all, really), to thinking it would make a lot of sense/would be funny if Doc ended up being an android mechanic, to thinking it would be cool if Doc and X were close in this au because they both do android tech, to then being like... oh they can be research partners.... to then planning the [REDACTED] comic to then thinking... oh... what if they cared a lot about each other :(((( and the dynamic kinda stole my heart tbh

A little art about a headcanon of mine for Dragon and Sabo, and a little fanfic about it under the cut

"Dragon-san," a familiar voice, Sabo's voice came knocking from the door of the cluttered office. Dragon perked up, putting down the pen he's writing with- just a follow up rough plan for the revolutionary's next strike.

The door was opened and there was Sabo with a bleeding arm. Instinctively, Dragon reached for the cabinet on his desk, pulling it open to grab for a roll of bandages and a bottle of antiseptic.

Sabo sat in front of Dragon, reaching out his roughed-up arm, his face not showing a trace of pain. (Dragon always knew the surges beneath his mask anyways.)

Dragon sighed as he saw the gnarly wound on Sabo's arm. The boy had a knack on being risky, sometimes even too keen on self sacrifice. Even though being a revolutionary always costed a price, Dragon couldn't help but worry about Sabo's knacks.

"I got a little reckless with my plans, " Sabo offered a little charming smile to Dragon (cut out the reprimands just this time?)

"I always told you to be careful. You're too good to lose, " Dragon said (again, Sabo?).

Sabo offered another cheeky smile, "Next time," he said, as if Dragon never feared for his name written on the list of fallen revolutionaries in a mission report.

When Sabo first arrived in Baltigo, still wrapped with bandages all over, not even able to move his wounded limbs freely, he would only turn to Dragon to replace his bandages, any nurses who tried to replace it would only make him flinch violently.

Dragon tapped a cotton smeared with antiseptic liquid on his arm, following it up with the roll of bandages. Soon, after falling into the familiar act of wrapping Sabo's wounds, Dragon couldn't resist the nostalgia that went flying right to his head.

But of course, they understood (despite being concerned) , that Sabo was a child, a child that had no one familiar except for Dragon in an unfamiliar, new building far far away from his home island.

When his burns healed, and when he finally got to trust the nurses, it still became a habit. He would knock on Dragon's door or tug at his coat, show his wounds, and Dragon would pull out his cabinet and fish out a bottle of antiseptic liquid and some bandages. And there it was, a repeating pattern of tapping a cotton smeared with the antiseptic against Sabo's wounds and wrapping it up with soft bandages.

Dragon always thought of it as a comforting habit.

It was not rare that he would receive reports about his fallen men, people that had died for his own cause. And being here, bandaging Sabo, feeling the warmth of his skin, reminded Dragon that his Chief of Staff, his son, was still here, still alive. Still able to go knock on Dragon's office and offer a smile and a wound.

Sabo's small hiss of pain suddenly brought Dragon abruptly out of his daze. He softened his pace and grip, finishing wrapping Sabo's arm with tying the end, cutting the excess bandage with a small pair of scissors.

"Thank you, Dragon-san, " Sabo smiled, softly.

Dragon couldn't resist reaching his hand out and ruffling Sabo's hair, "Be careful next time," he warned.

Sabo's smile turned into a grin, "This time is just a slip up. "

Dragon couldn't help but smile back. Thin, but soft with fondness for his son sitting in front of him. He pulled his hand out of Sabo's locks of blonde and hope that tomorrow, his name wouldn't be written on the list of the fallen.

- he definitely put up a fight not to be in this one

- he’s not a social media fan whatsoever

- and he hated thinking about the freak out the media would have seeing THE rin itoshi simp over someone

- he was mostly scared of the blue lock boys finding out about the tiktok and teasing him for it

- but with enough convincing you got him to do it with you

- was so flustered when you started kissing him everywhere

- he would’ve given you a hard time but then you started kissing him all over his face and he just went speechless

- actually got the look down on the first try

- you thought it would’ve taken at least 10 for him to give you a soft look but he actually nails it

- the video definitely goes viral and definitely makes it’s way to the rest of the blue lock boys.

- he figured it was worth it though because he got to have you kissing him everywhere

you thought right from the moment rin’s mouth opened that he was going to nonstop talk about how dumb this whole thing is. but, he didn’t. he was sitting patient, his hand resting on your thigh as you reapplied your lipstick again. he secretly loved this, you could tell by the way he was blushing and avoiding your eye contact every time you went in for a kiss. and though he was being amazingly quiet, you had to give him some sort of a tease. you planted a hand on his cheek, waiting till his eyes met yours. once they did you gave a soft smile while going in for the last kiss. yeah, he was definitely flustered at that point. it was probably the only reason he got the look on the first go, however.

sae

- a lot easier to convince!!

- you only had to ask him twice!! we all know his i-don’t-care-what-the-media-thinks mindset.

- he acts so nonchalant about it but is so weak for you

- pretty much the opposite of rin

- his eyes never leave your face

- you probably get embarrassed because he is staring you down so far??

- and his hands are roaming up your waist at the same time??

- yeah he’s definitely doing this on purpose btw

- the only reason he agreed so easily was to make you embarrassed while doing so

- NAILS THE LOOK

- your breath caught in your throat seeing him looking at you like that

- flusters you even more by going in for a kiss

- he’s playing with you!!

- anyways it blows up, of course, with everyone freaking out in the comments about how weak they are for sae

- the final kiss part did make its way in the video too.

“okay sae, you ready?” you ask while fixing your hair and preparing the lipstick once again. once he hummed in affirmation, you pressed the button and waited for the music to start playing. sae was eager for his part of the video, his hand gently but firmly pushing your head to look his way. he definitely heard your breath hitch, a small smirk on his face as he went forward to give you a kiss. it was so breathtakingly good too, so much passion in the way your lips moved together. that didn’t stop sae from immediately pulling away as the sound stopped. “sae!” you whined, wanting more now.

“what? is there more to the video?” he innocently asked, getting up to leave. please just pull him back down.

barou

- no bc i KNOW u struggled to get him to do this

- the amount of scoffs and “tch”s you had to hear is insane

- he gives you such a hard time but i just know he feels so proud and cool doing it

- he gave you so much shit over everything though

- literally was complaining about how the lipstick felt on his skin at first

- he stuttered at first though because he was a little embarrassed over the thought of YOUR lipstick being all over him AND for show

- plays it off cool and acts like he’s not blushing

- one hand is rubbing up and down your waist while the other is on your nape to give you a push towards his lips

you just had to kiss him after the video. i mean seeing him like that? how couldn’t you? you did have to put up a fight to separate from him afterwards though, his lips not wanting to leave yours. he huffed out a sigh once you were successful with pulling away though, eyes fleeting to the mirror once again. “i look pretty good like this,” his statement makes you giggle. maybe you could indulge him for a longer kiss this time.

so which characters do you personally headcanon to be winged avians?

this is a fun question! i'm still getting acquainted with all the life series/hermitcraft adjacent members so take what i say as subject to change + about them as characters + all mostly for fun :D

soo.. my grian design isn't actually an avian! or, maybe partially? i like drawing him with the little ear wings (it's a personal favorite design trope of mine) but i'd like to think he doesn't actually have functional/naturally grown wings; he has to manually equip them with a harness

this is mostly due to the fact that i'm watching through his s6 hermitcraft lets play right now. i find his initial aversion/reluctance to rely on an elytra really funny paired with how rapidly he eventually learns how to fly with it. "i don't want to be that guy who uses their elytra everywhere" LOL. i also like the added dimension of him having to really fight to learn how to fly + the general concept that faux/mechanical wings bring to the table

jimmy on the other hand is a canary angel thing to me!

he has wings, but they're much smaller & he can't fly with them (yet, maybe). i like to think that he didn't start out the life series with wings at first, but after the repeated deaths + establishment of the canary curse he gets little wings sprouting. just to Really rub the curse in his face LOL. but who knows, with the curse being broken + his angelfication maybe he can really learn how to fly after all.. time will tell...
