Damian: [brushing his teeth]

The shadow hanging over his shoulder: [Gets its teeth dangerously close to Damian's shoulder]

Damian: [Shoves a toothbrush into said shadow move and starts brush]

The shadow: [Pauses before starting to let out a contented purr]

Damian then spits out the foam and washes out his mouth, then makes the shadow do the same and then picks out pjs.

Damian: [Currently decided if he should go with the cat, dog, or knife imprinted one]

The shadow: [Starts getting dangerously close to Damian with, toxic green spirals it calls eyes]

Damian: [Throws the dog imprinted one behind him at the shadow and takes the cat imprinted one for himself and tells the shadow to put it on]

The shadow: [Stares at the clothes before hesitantly putting them on before letting out a noise of distress]

Damian: [Turning around to find the shadow somehow stuck in the pjs, lets out a sigh, then starts to help them fit]

Damian then moves over to the bed, he points to one side and tells the shadow to go there. The shadow listens, laying down as Damian also lays down, grabbing the sheets and covering them both.

It barely took a few seconds for the shadow to fall asleep, and Damian stared at it. Damian wasn't quite sure why the shadow of his dead twin was following him, nor why it was even able to and seemed to hide itself from anyone who isn't Damian.

Nobody besides him knew about it, and Damian decided that he liked it. This could have been his younger brother, if the other had survived, and they would have probably been told to fight to the death to decide an heir.

At the very least, that won't ever happen.

Even if his brother was slightly unusual.

Danny did not remember much of the before, he remembered people with blurred faces and features, blurred colors. He remembered a lot of colors, then red, then white, then pain.

He doesn't like pain, he believes.

Then he remembered going to sleep, and then he woke up. It was dark and slimy and cramped when he woke up, especially when he realized someone else was in their with him.

Then he fell asleep again, then woke up to that same dark and slimy place, then fell asleep again, all in some weird cycle. Then, moving, and pain.

It hurt, and he was sluggish when it eventually stopped. Then came pain again, and he was asleep.

Then he woke up, again.

He didn't know what was happening, wasn't really aware of too. But he woke up next to the other who was in that dark and slimy with him, and decided he wanted to stay with them.

He wasn't aware enough for most of the things that happened when Damian grew up, but he still stayed regardless, and hide from everyone else.

Danny loves his brother, and he thinks his brother loves him too. Even if he was slightly unusual.

A new sculpture! Finally... I feel like I never sculpt anymore since I'm always sick or have some 500 other things going on or projects to finish, but I'm trying to schedule time to do it more often this year hopefully..! Just a generic fantasy creature as usual, but did try making the eyes a little more sparkly this time.. hrmm..

I shall sameface in peace. huzzah #Just like the only thing I ever carve out of avocado pits anymore is eyes. Because that's just whats fun to do. One wants Skidad to be a chaotic evil irredeemable villain that kills kids for his immortality cult and only married Lila and has Skid for the cult

The other wants Skidad to have done terrible no good very bad things for the cult but then died and has been trapped in the mannequin and forced to reflect on all the shit he's done for years until by episode 10 he's a completely different person and he still cracks jokes all the time

So i had a dream last night which wasn't a nightmare and i even remember most of it! which is super exciting. I barely ever remember dreams that are just simply that so this is a fairly rare occasion for me.

It was weird tho

But it was.. i don't even know what it was so let me ramble about it in the tags a bit

#there was this bioluminescent and also biotoxic creature in a city at night #it was bipedal sort of humanoid shaped but with definitive deep sea features #it had that transparent skin and flesh and body with bioluminescing highlights #which i have no idea how it worked because the entire dream took place in a city enviroment on very much dry land but it's a dream innit #the face was definitely not human more a jumble of fishy features #it was gorgeous btw in a humanoid monster sort of fascinating way #it had this weird feel to it that it's something very old that should not be here now.. some sort of reminiscence of a bygone era #i might try to draw it but i don't know how successful i'd be to be honest #anyway so i was part of a group (don't know what kind exactly) and i never seen any of them i just knew they existed #and there was this innate knowledge that the creature was kind of hunting or more like luring us but we also were hunting it #i don't know if it did something to us before or we just had this unexplainable pull towards it but we definitely were fixated on it #and it was supposed to be a big threat even just by existing and walking around but also would have been bad if it was dead #but i don't know why was it so bad because the “toxicity” of the creature wasn't lethal it just made you stuck in a blissful delirious stat #just by being too close to it and which in most cases would fade when it moved away so the other alternative felt way worse #cuz if it would die something else would have gotten loose which would have been worse than the delirium #it was some sort of unstoppable deadly madness i think.. at least that was what i felt the dream eluded to #and i think we wanted to neutralize it somehow but we had no idea how to avoid disaster that surely would come if it dies #but it would have also revitalize nature on a basically divine scale by giving it's body back to it so there was this dilemma the whole tim #but none of us would have any answers so we just followed this inner draw regardless of the uncertainty #and the entire dream was basically us lureing the creature somewhere but simultaniously it was somehow luring us in as wel #to the same spot #it was a vast moonlit fieald outside of city bounds surrounded with tall dark trees and the sky was littered with stars #and a sharp cliff to one side #so we arrived there and we were standing on opposite sides and look towards each other #but looking into the creatures eyes literally woke me up #there was a noise it made and i know i understood it as words inside the dream but i can't remember what it was after waking just the noise #and that was it #it wasn't long i think tho it felt that way

Design; 9/10 - stub legs!! he's doing a little dance!!! He reminds me of lechonk from pokemon but that might just be me idk. One of my favorite character design tropes is "little guy hides under disguise"!! Also I love the hats scary face!

Purpose/Effectiveness; 8/10 okay i still dont know anything about dragonquest but i did a lot more research this time!! The wiki said that it was a monster with a low-level attack, making me think that it's probably one of the first you encounter in the game. Honestly this is really good low-level enemy design! It isnt that scary or imposing, but still enough to let the player know it is gonna attack you. Also wizard hat + using magic! We stan magic boars here!! From what the wiki also said it looks like it has other varients?? So as you go into more dangerous places you encounter more dangerous hatwitches?? That is actually really cool if it's true

Overall; 9/10 - this little piggy cursed your entire bloodline
