Lucky Charm (JJK Pkmn Au Satosugu)

In recent days since Gege has made it very depressing for us, I kinda coped with this AU of Gojo and Geto lmao. I'm gonna dump some stuff about the AU (named it Lucky charm since it's mostly based on being lucky, dreams, nightmares and pokemon!)

Bullet points because it's easier to read that way:-

About the AU

+ It's based on young adult Gojo and Geto. KEEP IN MIND I'm not planning to make Gojo as the 'strongest' or the saviour of mankind in this AU. I just want goofy fluff.

+ It's semi slice of life kinda thing.

+ I like to focus more on their friendship (but feel free to interpret it as romantic if yall want)

+ Will add in Shoko, Nanami, Haibara and Yaga eventually! I just...need to design them :')

+ Haven't figured out which region they'll originate from. I probably just leave it vague. They're going to travel a lot anyway.

About Gojo Satoru, The heir to Gojo Tech. Inc.

+ His family is known as one of the most prestigious family in the region - they earned their status from way back in the last few era.

+ Their family has some superstition and culture that is considered bogus nowadays. It has ties to some legendary pokemon. Some of those rules and superstition they still care for but with less weight than it used to.

+ Satoru was going to inherit his family's legacy - Gojo Tech. Inc. it's a research company that has contribute a lot to the region's development.

+ He's more than capable to actually handle the company once he step up.

+ Decided to say fuck it, and ran away from home because he didn't wanna lmao

+ His comically big black glasses is an effort on disguise himself just in case if his family started looking for him.

About Geto Suguru, The Black sheep son.

+ He comes from a very traditional family where their main focus is on farming and crop growing. Lives in a village that is all about that as well. Main pokemon around them are grass and ground types to help with farming.

+ A very sweet, kind and caring kid. Has a natural skill in taming pokemon.

+ At one point, he attracts ghosts and dark types and started getting nightmares. Developed insomnia from a young age.

+ Started slacking off, sleeping in more and branded as lazy by his family and the villagers.

+ Eventually decided to leave and go on a journey in hopes to find what he wants to do in life.

Everything is a WIP though. I probably will change some stuff here and there (and I did leave some crucial stuff out cause I plan to make it into a comic of some sort). Check my tag to see the stuff I drew for this AU!

Songs and Ships

thank you @athenswrites for the tag! i shall add @imslowlydisintegrating and @taeonysus8 (i really need more writer moots sob sob)

the rules of this tag game: write 2-5 songs that represent a ship between your characters (can be romantic or platonic or a secret third thing). then add a quote from your WIP beneath each song (if possible!).

i've decided that i'm gonna focus on Jae and Jun from TGCT for this since i'm currently working on that fic and this might help me get the vibes right for once (literally on my third rewrite already, someone send help ;^;)

HER - Chase Atlantic

this song reminds me of them because, in a moment of vulnerability, Jae makes Jun promise that he will keep hating her until the end of time. her greatest secret is that she is terminally ill (suffering from a heart illness) and that's why she lives every day like it's her last - considering how she refuses bad medication most days, she could drop dead at any moment. anyway, she has no problem hanging out with Jun and getting into messy situations with him because she believes that he will keep hating her indefinitely. unlike her friends, he won't mourn her when she dies - or at least that's what she believes. even when things get a little heated and feelings start brewing, Jae pushes the longing aside and intends to cut him off when the time comes. having a relationship with him would only subject Jun to a great deal of heartache and Jae would much rather he stay as her enemy than have him become something more only to end up wasting his life on mourning her once she passes away.

"Please hate me," Jae whispered, pulling him out of his thoughts. When he turned to look at her, he was caught off by the silent plea shining in her eyes. "Why?" Jun frowned, confused by her request. "Why do you want me to hate you?" "Because you hated me before," Jae responded quietly. "It should be easy for you to keep hating me even if we start hanging out and acting civil with one another like this." A sad smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she added, "Besides, you never liked me in the first place, did you? So don't change that now. Don't stop hating me."

Jun is the first to breach the thin line between love and hate. being reluctant acquaintances with Jae seems impossible until he finds himself thinking constantly about her, wondering if she got home safely from school, becoming irritated when she's too close to other guys, and so on. he denies it time and time again, half because he cannot imagine that he could've caught feelings for his enemy and half because he subconsciously knows that nothing good will come out of him developing feelings for her. still, a part of him can't help but yearn to cross over that line. unfortunately, Jae is intent on staying enemies. no one said anything about that coming with a few benefits though...

Uh oh, he thought, his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed. This won't end well. "Hey," he uttered quietly, knowing that he should probably step away from her but not being able to move from the spot. Jae quirked her eyebrow at him. Equally quietly, she replied, "Hi...?" "About my wish..." "What about it?" Jun's eyes flickered down to her lips briefly. Influenced by a sudden burst of bravery, he blurted out, "I know what I want." "Oh yeah?" Jae tilted her head to the side curiously, a small smile playing on her lips. She found his awkwardness adorable, but she wasn't about to tell him that. Instead, voice quiet, she prompted, "What is it?" "...Kiss me."

when they figure out that they are living in the world of a manhwa and that all that they have been through was scripted by The Writer for the plot, Jae and Jun begin to question everything - their past, their hardships, their relationship, and where The Writer intends to take the story next. amidst the chaos, they start to remember bits and pieces of their previous lives and both start wondering whether their feelings for one another are real or if, perhaps, they are nothing more than a set-up forced upon them by their god.

Thank you for the tag, @angelcasendgame!!!!! I am not sure I will be able to work on anything very soon just because life came after me again, and turns out I'm gonna be moving over the next month or so, but I really do hope I can find time!!

None of these have names yet lol. I put the SPN ones first, but technically I've been trying to break my writer's block by returning to The Great Gatsby (It's all Nick/Gatsby btw, just realized that might not be immediately evident) with limited success. It's always come easier for me. But all of this is stuff I do actively want to work on.

Ohh I don't know who to tag. I'm sure everyone in this circle has been tagged already, and most of the people I talk to regularly enough to know about their projects have more or less left Tumblr... I do absolutely want to pass this your way though, @antique-ro-man!! (It's Wes, btw!) I also wanna tag @heyfagbutt! And then anyone else who sees this and wants to participate, I also encourage it!! This is such a cool idea :D !!

I think the name is pretty explanatory? The gist of it is they go after the same guy and become pseudo-enemies but they keep bumping into each other like this and decide to work together after a while 👍 this is a really bad hook LMAO. Anyway, I'm trying to build on the idea that they work REALLY well together when they do it intentionally but fail comically when they don't.

Pretty much what it says on the tin as well. No Supernatural AU. Dean goes to a community college to get a certification to help with his work elsewhere, but Cas, a figure drawing model, catches him drawing (which Dean's been doing on and off as a hobby) and tries to get him to sign up for the arts program.

I technically only have a summary of this, and I'm not entirely sure if I will write it all out, but I do want to at least put more time into the development before I dedicate to giving up on it bc of scope lol. I just have SUCH a soft spot for fake relationship AUs. Also, I just found out that while I have FINALLY aged into independent FAFSA eligibility, I am once again tax bracketed out. Anyway, financial abuse is real and I want to project my suffering onto Dean. Also immigrant Cas, but I haven't decided where I want him to be from yet. I think this has a lot of potential for some pretty hefty character redesigns too so it's also compelling to me from that angle. I guess I could also write it for TGG, but I did initially think of it for Destiel, so.

I don't know how to explain this one very well except that I had unhelpfully written "poolboy au" in my notes and then proceeded to forget what the hell I meant. This fic was an attempt to resurrect that but ended up being a funky modern West Coast re-imagining where Gatsby can't even "make it" as much as he wants to, and Nick can't find a place to live except for a less-than-legally rented pool house. It's not meant to be a full rewrite or anything though.

Uhhh yeah, I'm keeping the details private for this one ahaha but that's just because it wasn't supposed to be a big deal and I told a friend she would see what it was when it was done...like oh god probably a month ago at this point... My original scope for this was quite small, but research for it, indecision, and a nasty case of writer's block that I've had for nearly a year now have kept development a bit slow. Hopefully, I'll finish it before the year comes to a close.

I also don't know how to explain this one well other than "after being rejected by Daisy (Canon Divergent), Gatsby attempts to buy his way into a bewildered Nick's heart. Though the fic is from Nick's POV, Gatsby's just had his worldview shattered and is in a bit of denial, but instead of pursuing Daisy harder, he channels all of that energy into Nick (though he's not really sure why he's doing it at first). I wasn't sure what to put up at the top because I absolutely don't want my code name for this public at least until it's done LMAO.

so, a few of you may remember this series i posted back in February of 2022. i was extremely depressed and lonely so i did what any normal human would... i wrote a story about Hotchniss being friends with benefits.

however, that story was posted on this account, where I do not post smut. well, other than that one chapter of SYGB but we don't need to go there rn akshksjsjsj

anyway, basically this would be the spicier rewritten version of that where i don't leave readers in the dark about what went on between Hotchniss after Haley died ;)

another fic i wrote where i tried desperately to keep things closed door until now when i decided i don't care about that anymore 😂

So. I made an introduction post. I'm officially a writeblr now.

I didn't really reveal a whole lot, though; just said my wip was a Zelda fanfic and casually mentioned I'm making a language for it.

The actual premise can wait. Right now I'm gonna talk about the language part, because it's weirdly interesting and I like it.

So, how do you make a language?

I have no clue, why are you asking me?

Actually though, I don't really know what I'm doing, but what I do know is step one: figure out sounds. Followed by step two: make up some words.

Thankfully, I decided to use the lyrics from Ballad of the Goddess as a starting point for the Hylian language, so those steps are basically done for me.

Mostly. (Buckle up if you don't know ipa notation oops)

See, here's a transcription of the lyrics in ipa:

I'm not sure exactly how accurate that transcription is, since according to my ventures through the interactive ipa chart, it differs a little from the vocal cover I listened to on YouTube.

Still, though, I pulled every unique sound out, organized them into consonants and vowels, and asked the conlang network discord's thoughts. Based on their feedback, I ended up with this:

consonants: n, b, k, s, z, d, t, l, ʃ, v, h,

vowels: e, o, a, u, i, ɛ

I don't really know if that's comprehensive yet, I haven't yet gone outside the confines of what's in the song. I did assign some meanings to individual words -- don't expect to get much of a translation for the song out of these, there's just not enough there. I did this loosely based off a reddit thread.

/en/ = oh

/nobe/ = no

/daʃevu/ = deceive

/kɛwɛnu/ = world

/sale/ = illuminate

/dezu/ = path

/dotʃe/ = hear

/ʃutu/ = unite

/tje/ = and

/duʃu/ = wind

/ʃundu/ = Queen/princess; daughter of the goddess; female who carries the blood of the goddess

I also decided the basic word order would be Verb, Subject, Object -- and that's as far as I've gotten as of now. Later on, I'll come up with a few more words and try to construct a somewhat detailed set of grammar rules.

I'll definitely keep this blog updated on my progress in making the Hylian language; I don't know that I'll create an entire dictionary and grammar guide, though, unless it's something people want. It's meant for use in my fic, not really as a what-would-hylian-sound-like theory piece.

Anyway, bit of a niche post, but it's what I've got right now. Might dive into some crazy theory-inspired lore in a later post.

"I want a drink," Greum almost begged, trying to twist away. He needed something to numb the pain and humiliation away.

I'm going to cheat a bit on the next one, since it's two lines

"See? Faolan, what about...actually, I'm not even going to ask about you."

"I actually lost count," he answered anyway.

Orla considered that, "I would not have chosen death," she whispered. Any warrior would have chosen death, yet not her.

By morning, when Liath awoke, she could still feel her mother's arms around her. In the depths of her mind, as though the voices were carried by the wind on a day that threatened rain, she could still hear the funeral rhyme loud and clear.

Finnr Einarson whispered through tears, spoken only to the best bard in all of Frynia, the keeper of memories and tales, spoken only for his soul to hear as he entered into the afterlife.

"You crashed my ship, do you think I was going to give you another one so easily? I'm not even going to let you close to the helm!"

It would be many years and many battles later until Finnr would understand what the witch had meant, her voice would still be echoing in his ears just as it had done the day he met her. For now, his heart was racing, he could feel his fingers tingling.

"I'm the one that lives long enough to tell the tale and decide whether to include you or not."

"I know! Bjarki's balls, I know! It just didn't dawn on me to do that or even consider doing it until now!"

"Either you tell us exactly what you're planning or throwing you into the bog is becoming a very tempting idea the more you keep quiet, Einarsson."
