we are so anti-fun in capitalism. fun isn't allowed because joy and stimulation create serotonin and dopamine and that would just be terrible because you can't be a crushingly depressed drone who can't do anything but work. not even sleep, just work. it would be a shame if you chose to chase joy and happiness and fun despite this. it would be a real shame, for the CEOs and billionaires who steal your hard earned money for themselves. a pity, really.
seriously, though, smarmy tone aside: chase fun like your life depends on it, because it does. happiness is a human right. kids and adults alike need to play. play isn't just for children: adults require leisure and happiness, too. happiness should not be reserved for any age group. fun isn't even optional, it's required in order to keep your mental health in check. we're depressed as a culture because all we do is work and leave no time for play. living is meant for chasing and fighting for what brings you joy. play. laugh. have fun. spite those who want you to be a miserable worker drone who can't spare a thought beyond work work work.
fight like hell for happiness.

if you say you hate billionaires it has to be all billionaires. if you say eat the rich has to be all of the 1%. That includes Taylor Swift. that includes Rihanna. that includes George Lucas. Someone making something you enjoy does not exclude them for being a billionaire, and lets all say it together,
THERE ARE NO ETHICAL BILLIONAIRES.

one of the best things about the wga & sag-aftra strikes is the publicisation of worker relations. like we should ALL be talking about how we get treated at work, our experiences at work, our contracts and how they are fair or unfair. it's just GOOD because if we talk about it we can understand that there is class solidarity in the experiences at work!

On the OGL
I have seen a lot of people say that they want to stop playing D&D because of the money grabbing fuckery commited by Wizards of the Coast, concerning the changes made to the open gaming license. This makes me sad. I see a big corporation stealing joy from a community that I have loved, and that has changed my life for the better. DO NOT LET THEM. Keep playing the game. It is your game, not theirs, do not let them take it from you.If you have the books, keep them, keep using them. Burning them is stupid, it is a waste, it is meaningles protest. Please do unsubscribe from D&D Beyond, that is meaningful, do not buy anymore Wizard produced content, that too is meaningful. And if you are need some books, a lot of them are out there as PDFs, which of course you should not download illegaly. In fact, if you PM me, i will tell you to not get pirated PDFs of the core rule books, and even point out which links contain such illegal copies, so that you may avoid them.

if you've never worked a minimum wage/physical labor/retail job then sorry not sorry i don't trust whatever you have to say ever. one blue-collar worker is worth five of you fuckers writing circle jerk "think pieces" about how badly you wanna get cucked by the ghost of karl marx.
"well i'd reckon it's a bit fucked up we don't even get paid as much as them people sitting in a chair all day when we sweat balls out here innit?"
you'd reckon exactly fucking right malcom

if you’re not against capitalism, you will be after scrolling through this website.
it shows the incredibly unfathomable amount of wealth to scale that billionaires have, in a visual and very effective way.
this similar website shows the amount of people in prison or jail in the US.
and once you’re done, and suitably disgusted, have a look at this easy intro to anti capitalism, and this site about prison abolition

it's ass-backwards that under capitalism people like cashiers, who genuinely can slack off at work at times due to long periods of literally nothing happening at their jobs and literally nothing of importance to do get fired for taking even a moment to look at their phone, but landlords and people in government jobs that are literally the only person between someone living and dying can slack off because they've "earned" it. they've "worked so hard" that they can totally ignore their responsibilities with little to no repercussions, but the person working at the shoe store can't sit down and daydream when there's zero customers and everything down to sweeping the floor for the 20th time that day has been done over and over again.
it should be that the more vital your job is to someone else's survival and well being, the less you get to slack off. it should never be excused for someone who is literally responsible for someone else's food, housing, or safety to do literally nothing for the majority of their work day. do i think that everyone should be worked to the bone? hell no, but if you're going to willingly enter a job where you are the only thing between someone and survival, you shouldn't get to just ignore your responsibilities. find another job if the responsibility of making sure other people are safe just isn't for you.
how can you say you've "earned" the right to fuck around and do nothing at work if you don't do your job to begin with? you've earned jack shit. not that anyone should have to "earn" the right to rest, but you can't get on your high horse about "earning" something if you don't work in the first place. you don't get to look down on minimum wage workers for doing the same thing you do every day with zero repercussions.

theres this whole Thing about how much people hate working... they hate going to work (i hate mondays), they celebrate that the weeks half over (hump day Wednesday), they celebrate the end of the week (thank god its friday).... if people hate working that much, maybe its time to ask yourself *why* you hate working and what you can do about it
(hint: you hate capitalism. become an anticapitalist and fight the system)
