I hope they give Ahsoka Season 2 a Rogue One ending and it's like oh wow can you BELIEVE IT, they were supposed to be in the big Mandoverse movie finale but WHOOPS WE KILLED EVERYBODY! Say goodbye to Shin, Ahsoka, and Sabine, guys, they all died to save the galaxy from whatever godforsaken Force god killing bullshit they put on Peridea, it's so sad and emotional.

this whole argument is pointless 'cause most wolfwrens i see are aware that shin and sabine won't REALLY get together by the end of this season (and, dare i say, ever). and speaking solely for myself, I don't even WANT them to. I'd be happy if they pulled a kalluzeb (enemies to reluctant allies to friends), but I'm not getting my hopes up for that either. I know this franchise, I've been a fan of it since I was a little kid, and now I'm an adult who knows Lucasfilm won't give us sapphics anything better than valcinta on andor (and don't get me wrong, I loved them, but they aren't the protagonists of that story, while sabine is one of the main characters of this one). still, we'll keep consuming and producing content where shin and sabine are a physically/romantically involved.

oh, and for the sabezras out there who want to be assholes, I can be wrong, but I'm almost sure your "precious, healthy and pure" ship won't happen either. and it won't be because a bunch of sapphics online decided to ship sabine with shin hati.

Why is it important for Sabine to be in a relationship where she's visibly scared? (Exhibit A)

Have the Characters' best interests, wellbeing, and safety gone out the window for our own gratification? Have we forgotten that what we get off to, is not automatically what our favorite Character gets off to?

Shin is one of the LEAST original characters I've ever seen in my LIFE, she is literally just Darth Maul in a feminine skin suit. They both have no personality, they barely speak, they've got the "crazy eyes," they get abandoned by their Dark master and then get immediately defeated by their narrative foil and have to run off to be the leader of a group of an inferior criminal organization they do not care about at all just to give themselves an army. There's NOTHING about Shin that is in any way original, it's almost funny. She just happens to be female instead of male and a different species.

The thing that frustrates me so much about the ahsoka show is that I actually like it's premise and new characters

Rebels sequel? Yep

A surviving Inquisitor? Yep

A Jedi purge survivor who turned to the dark side and now has his own dark Jedi apprentice? Yep

Problem is it's all wrapped up in a character I utterly do not care for

if you ship ezrabine, that's awesome, you should make fanart, fanfiction, discuss theories, have fun!

i know plenty of ezrabine shippers and most of them are lovely people :) some aren't- but this isn't a reflection of ezrabine's as a whole. same goes with wolfwren

the point is, neither wolfwren nor ezrabine shippers should be spewing hate in eachothers' tags for no reason. wolfwren shippers are valid in their opinions and deserve not to be accused of romanticising violence, being ped0philes, being straightphobic, etc.

likewise, ezrabine shippers shouldn't be accused of being homophobic, incest-shipping, etc.

reading sabine as gay is great as long as it makes you happy! (not straightphobic)

pairing her with a guy is fine too, if that what you'd like! (not homophobic)

overall, you guys enjoy your ship and we can enjoy ours. we might not have the same opinions on ships, but we all have a common love for star wars that we should be bonding over :)

have fun shipping, just be open to the idea that your ship isn't the only way to read it. so ship what you want if it makes you happy, just don't shit on other shippers because they have a different take on star wars media.

EDIT: as @armoralor has pointed out, the wolfwren community certainly faces much more unnecessary hate as a queer ship, and the threats of violence and outright homophobia are certainly much more severe than simply fighting over a ship- the amount of hate a heteronormative ship faces is rarely the same as what a queer one does. (i'm aware there have been wolfwren shippers who've hated on ezrabine shippers which is unfair, though there have never been threats of genuine violence which is always unacceptable in any circumstance)
