Another quick poll before I go

Reblog with the specific kind of tail and/or why! These pills are super fun to run and I always love seeing peoples different reasons behind their choices.

For clarification:

All dog breed apply under dogs, and all canines apply under that also. For example, coyotes, wolves, wild dogs, and jackals all belong under that option

Same goes for cats. All cat breeds apply, and so do animals like tigers, lions, and Pallas cats.

The stinger can sting people.

By supports your weight, I mean you can hang from the monkey tail the same way monkeys do, it’s basically like another hand

Things like alligators, Komodo dragons, and even salamanders go under the lizard option (I know salamanders aren’t lizards but I didn’t have enough options for a salamander option)

The horse tail does not have to match your hair color

I know that giraffe donkey elephant etc option seems super random, but really I just meant any tail that’s thin with a tuft on the end. Excluding lions, which go under the cat option

what's the difference between being an animalkin or a therian? bc im wolfkin, oppossumkin, and foxkin curious but idk if that would also make me a therian? but i don't really feel like i'm a therian, just therian-adjacent? like therian's older cousin who throws rocks out of a moving car.

make/commission a therian mask

get/make gear (ears, tail, paws, etc)

use some rat/rodent related neopronouns!

practice vocals!

rats love chewing and gnawing!! get some chewelery!

practice quadrobics!

get some fun toys or puzzles to play with! rats are very intelligent and love all sorts of enrichment!!

find some rat friends!! rats are very social creatures! (did you know a group of rats is called a mischief?)

try enjoying some hygiene based self care! (face masks, calming baths, skincare, etc). rats are very cleanly creatures!

have some fun with different kinds of activity! rats are good at jumping, climbing, and swimming!

snack on things like berries, nuts, dried meats and fish, and cereals or grains based foods!

Therians or animalkin or furries or anyone who wants to fill out a poll, I have a question

also please read the bullets below the poll for clarification!

some clarification:

Humanoid animal basically is just an animal that is physically anthropomorphic enough to look somewhat human. It doesn’t have to be super humanoid, just has to have some physical things showing it is humanoid. This can range from having a humanoid (but still scaly, furry, feathery, etc.) body, to just standing upright.

The “able to do animal things” option does not make any physical changes. For example, you could choose to have the sense of smell of a dog, or the bite force of a shark, but you would not get a dog nose or shark teeth.

The “animal but mentally human” option would not change anything but the mind of said animal. Basically, the animal in question has human intelligence/sentience, but it would not walk on two legs or anything.

The “some animal qualities” option includes internal organs or other not outwardly visible body parts (like second jaws of a moray eel or the liver of a wood frog).

The “stay human but live like/with animal” can range from meaning “mentally and physically human but with animal lifestyle”, to “mentally animal, but physically human”

The “stay human, but have human traits related to that animal” option is kinda confusing in retrospect, so here’s a somewhat (but not that much) better explanation. It would be gaining a human quality that you tie or equate to a certain animal. For example, if the animal in question is a moose, someone may choose to have dark brown hair. If the animal is a bullfrog, someone may choose to have a raspier/deeper voice. If the animal in question is a cheetah, the person may choose to have freckles. Things like that. Does that make sense?

Ugh, powers out. Gonna make a poll about it.

Sorry the options are a bit more random than usual!

For clarification:

All types of each cat apply under the categories. So, both a clouded leopards and Persian leopard would be available under the leopard option, for example.

Assume that the size of the animal would be totally accommodated for, so don’t worry about which would affect your life, just go with what makes you the happiest.

I was pretty lax with my definition of small wildcat here, since I was running out of room. Animals like the marbles cat, Pallas cat, and ocelot would also fit under that option. Just most small wildcats in general.

I may make another poll just for unusual or lesser known wildcats, so if your favorite isn’t specifically mentioned or included here, stay tuned!

If you want, reblog with what you chose and why! It’s always fun to see the different choices people make and their reasoning behind it. It also gives the poll a larger sample size!

So yk how, with otherkin, we possibly died in our last life and now we're in the wrong bodies (its a possible theory of some otherkin and therians)? Well, if I'm a ghostkin, I think ik how I died.

I don't have really any memories of my past life, but I think it was in the Tudor times, maybe..

My hands and feet are almost ALWAYS cold and, since it's been freezing here in the UK, my feet and ankles have almost gone numb. When I'm outside in the cold, my hands turn a little purple (its a medical condition, dw).

I was wondering if that had anything to do with my death from my past life. Maybe freezing to death?

I've also always had a very strong connection to water. I love marine life and I've had a hyperfixation on sharks before, I prefer baths over showers and end up staying in them way past when they've gone cold, I prefer water over the other elements and I used to love swimming.

I'm very sure I'm not mermaidkin, so I'm thinking that maybe my death had something to do with freezing water and drowning? Maybe I got pushed/fell into a cold lake/river.

That's what I'm going with so far. If anyone knows how to recover lost memories from my past life, it'd be SUPER helpful if you could give me some advice!! Xxx
