⸺Cara  mia.  .  .Her  golden  hair  glistens  in  the  moonlight  as  a  phantom  observes  her  through  the  large  gothic  windows  of  an  abandoned  cathedral.  Plagues  of  curiosity  warm  his  cold  dead  heart  at  sight  alone.  A  slow  and  steady  breath  is  expelled  as  he  drinks  in  her  image,  one  hand  flexing  open  and  closed.  Tonight  would  be  the  night  he  revealed  himself  to  her,  perhaps  it  would  return  the  promise  of  an  unholy  union.  A  century  had  come  and  gone,  with  it  many.  .  .many  people.  Depression  clung  to  him  tightly  and  kept  him  in  limbo  but  she'd  be  the  first  to  stir  life  back  into  him.  The  rain  had  blessed  him  tonight,  and  he  had  hoped  she  might  run  inside  to  escape  the  weather.

The  Cathedral  for  the  first  in  a  very  long  time  was  illuminated  by  a  faint  glow  of  candles  (  though  if  she  entered,  it'd  be  apparent  it  had  only  been  the  first  floor  ),  smells  of  myrrh  and  frankincense  making  the  building  THAT  much  more  inviting.  From  the  shadows  he  would  observe  her  if  she  came  inside,  deciding  that  he'd  make  himself  known  when  the  proper  time  came.  Upon  the  second-floor  balcony  of  the  Cathedral  had  been  her  admirer,  his  peppered  hair  slicked  back  with  the  finest  of  pomades  made  by  a  perfumer  who  operated  in  the  hillsides  of  Italy.  For  the  evening,  he'd  grace  her  with  a  face  full  of  black  and  white  paint  that  depicted  a  rat  skull  upon  his  image.  A  flowy  black  palace  victorian  blouse  was  decided  on  being  worn  with  black  slacks  and  dress  shoes,  his  image  nearly  blending  in  with  the  darkness  as  he  waits  patiently.

the   unofficial   first   lady   wants   to   believe   @angelmade ---   that   the   other   female   will   not   turn   into   a   walker.   after   all,   lori   knows   that   they   are   safe   around   shane   and   rick.   alas,   they   have   already   lost   too   many   people.   sophia,   jim,   jacqui,   dale,   amy .....   despite   the   fact   that   she   once   had   hope,   lori   knows   that   they   cannot   keep   it   at   bay.   it   already   has   them   and   unfortunately,   it   just   keeps   comin'.   "   i   think   that   the   farm   is   the   safest   place   we   can   be   at   right   now."

“You’re kidding!”

Johnnie chuckles, shifting his gaze to her magazine. He knows it’s probably all just fake stories, but it was so entertaining! “Huh. Must be something in the water. You know, I think it has been tasting off lately…,” he taps his chin jokingly. He’s unable to hold the comedic effect for too long, though, and he grins.

“Brooklyn isn’t too bad. ‘Sides, wouldn’t it be a super smart baby? Two heads are better than one, right?”

peach  ,  my angel , my star , my favourite person on this dumb stupid website. i truly appreciate you and all of your characters. you have given ellie a best friend (who is truly wonderful amazing and fleshed out) and a boyfriend (who is just as wonderful and amazing as holly). i adore the way you write and the way that you give life to your characters.  i absolutely love you so so much and the way that i know i can come to you ooc with anything  -  even if it’s just to vent over silly lil things.  you are brilliant , amazing  , talented and i hope that we continue to write together , plot together , just talk in general together for EVER and ever.

        it was nice to think that holly was the right person, wrong time.  but, it seldom felt that way. he knew that simon had a hold on her she was finding hard to now live without, and while he’s been trying to fill the space that simon has left there are more nights than not where he can’t help but feel like he’s doing an inadequate job. 

        they’re talking about how things were before simon had passed again. it seemed like a subject that he’s fond of returning to, finding it hard to let go of the feeling of never quite matching up with his predecessor. she says what she does, and it grabs his attention - eyes looking up to meet hers, and hold her gaze steady for a moment.  he’s.. not sure if he believes that, if he thinks that things might’ve been different if he spoke up for himself. said something instead of resigning and allowing simon to pursue the life that he had wanted for himself.

        still, he takes what she says at face value. doesn’t want to look too deeply into what was said, allow the doubt to plague his mind. a hand reaches out to take her hand in his, bringing it up to place her palm on the side of his face.  ❛ ... you’ve always had mine,  love. ❜  face turns a bit to kiss her palm, closing his eyes.

Rick leans in to kiss her and pulls back a little to smile before he's pressing a couple more to her lips. " I wanna show you somethin'. Come with me. " He doesn't even wait for her response, lacing his fingers with hers and walking backwards to their little date situation; a fairy light lined overhead and a table with two plates covered by lids. He spins around and pulls out a chair as he speaks. " Now listen I know we ain't got the means to do much fancy but I wanted to do something for ya. I hope you don't mind. "
