The Mission
Tumblr media
While the other students watched the presentation given by the professor and took notes, Ru’Yi rested her chin in her hand and stared out the window.
Her mind was far away on an island, holding sparklers with Tom. She’d run the dream over and over in her head. The feel of the fabric of his T-shirt seemed more like a memory than a dream. He was warm underneath, solid. It wasn’t just an image of him. He was really there. She’d never had such a vivid dream before.
It was a Soul Skill. That’s what she had concluded. But why was that strange boy making them have dreams together? And why did he say he could control them?
She turned her mind back to class. She had just gotten off her unexpected sick leave and was still doing well as a student after penning a make-up essay.
She’d come here to follow in her father and mother’s footsteps, to be around people like her. Now she was staring at images of a sword forged from a dragonclaw, used to kill dragonkin many centuries ago and her mind drifted back to Tom.
Did she really belong here? She didn’t come to Cassell to kill dragons or fight in a war. She just wanted to study. But every class seemed to include something about dragonslaying. What if she didn’t want to slay dragons? Was that okay? Could she just graduate with a degree?
That reminded her. She hadn’t yet picked her major. She’d strongly considered marine biology… until she found out that half of that class was just studying dragonmorphs, especially how to destroy them.
“Alright, that will end the lecture. If there are no further questions, then I would like you to be able to recite perfectly what we’ve discussed this afternoon,” shouted the professor over the sound of closing books and scraping chairs. “No questions, no mercy!”
Ru’Yi closed her books and put them into her backpack. She followed the rest of the students out of the lecture hall and into the chilly sunshine of late winter. She stopped at the top of the stairs.
There waiting for her was a familiar looking bike and the one riding it -- Brian. Despite the cold, he was still in his typical leather jacket and jeans, once again spurning the school’s official Executive department uniform.
Her back straightened slightly and her mouth turned down.
“Can we talk?” He asked.
A group of girls giggled at her, whispering among themselves. Despite them rarely being seen together, the rumormill had branded them a couple. She didn’t understand why her private life was anyone else’s business. Her self-imposed seclusion had made the school paper because it involved the attack of ‘the blind death servitor’ on campus. The paper had said that Brian had ‘rescued her.’ People were expecting something further out of it, like it was an episode on a TV show. Blushing in embarrassment, Ru’Yi was inclined to refuse. Saying yes would just make the rumors worse.
But at the same time, she didn’t want to refuse for such a petty reason. It would be like letting them win, letting other people dictate who she hung out with.
She didn’t say anything. She trotted down the stairs and got onto his motorcycle, wrapping her arms around his waist. The engine made its signature electronic whine and they were off before anyone could say anything that she could hear.
The wind turned her ears and nose ice cold within seconds and she tucked her face against his back to keep protect herself against it. The ride wasn’t long. He took her behind the library, riding over the grass to a secluded spot. He rested his foot on the ground and turned to look at her.
Ru’Yi put her hands over her ears to warm them. His eyes widened. “Sorry, you’re cold?”
“Yeah… aren’t you?”
“Let’s go inside then.” He kicked down the stand and got off. They both approached the library’s back door. He swiped his card and opened the door.
Ru’Yi walked in. It appeared to be a storage room filled with mostly books but some objects in boxes marked with different labels. It was musty and she sneezed. He offered her a tissue and she accepted, blowing her nose with a soft honk.
Brian grinned, briefly, but something about it seemed sad. “What’s wrong?” Ru’Yi asked.
“I’m going to be going off campus for a while. I wanted to make sure there were no hard feelings.”
“Off campus? You’re leaving?” She lowered the tissue.
“On assignment. I don’t know if I’ll get back.” He shook his head. “Are you still mad at me?”
“Wait… what do you mean if?”
“Uh… I meant to say when I’ll get back. Sorry…”
“Oh. Well… to answer the question, no, I’m not angry at you.” She gathered her tissue and put it in her pocket. “I just don’t understand why all this is happening. It looks like a regular campus but it sounds like a military base.”
“That would be our gear department.” Brian rubbed the back of his head.
“I don’t want to kill anybody. But everything I’m hearing says I have to. I don’t think I belong here.” She twined her hands.
“Not everyone does.” Brian said solemnly.
“But at the same time, I haven’t had to hide who I am. I can be as smart as I want. I’m actually challenged here.” Her eyes brightened. “There’s this other guy who actually gets math problems faster than me. We have a bit of a rivalry now. It’s nice. I don’t want to leave. I’ll be so miserable.”
“Then don’t leave. They can’t make you do anything.” He murmured, his eyes lowered. “You’re S-rank. No one can make you do anything.”
“What does that even mean? People say that but it doesn’t mean anything to me.”
He watched her. “Do you want to tell you the truth?”
“Yeah!” She nodded.
“It means you’re as close as a person will ever be to a goddess.”
Ru’Yi looked at him and then squinted one eye. “Don’t be silly.”
“Do I look like I’m being silly? We’re here to fight dragons. The most powerful creatures in existence. They can bend the laws of nature to their will. You saw what I did at Norton Hall. You’re stronger than that.” He leaned forward slightly. “Your mother was S-ranked too. Her files are completely classified.” He lowered his voice to a whisper, right next to her ear. “Her record includes the death of the Lord of Ocean and Water, a serpent longer than 20 empire state buildings stacked end to end. They recovered its body. It’s frozen in pieces all over the world.”
Ru’Yi stood, stunned and he leaned away, gauging her reaction. “S-rankers are always involved in Dragonslaying in one way or another. It’s just a matter of time.”
Ru’Yi kept silent so Brian continued. “Anyway, I’m glad you’re not upset with me.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a 20 dollar bill. “Please give this back to your dad.”
“He gave you 20 dollars? Why?”
“Well… He kinda knocked me in the head. Don’t worry, I deserved it. That’s why I can’t accept the money.”
“You’re all kinds of weird Brian, just be straight with me!”
“Okay… I thought he was an intruder on campus and attacked him. He kicked my butt five ways from Sunday.”
Ru’Yi snorted. “Oh. Was that when he left the letter?”
“Yeah.”
“Dad was… a dragonslayer too.” Ru’Yi said, quiet again.
Brian nodded, then his grey eyes narrowed slightly.
“What?”
“Your dad is different from other Dragonslayers. I mean, Von Frings is one of the most experienced people and he’s always boasting about his adventures. Mr. Baldwin gets pretty passionate talking about it too. But, Mr. Chu doesn’t. It’s like he didn’t want to talk about it at all.”
“Yeah, he never talks about it.” She shrugged. “Neither does mom.”
“Hm… I wonder why that is.”
She shrugged. “Dunno. Is that all you wanted to say to me?”
Brian suddenly looked nervous. “Huh?”
“You just wanted to ask if we were cool?”
“Um… uh…”
Was he blushing? That sudden color to his face was spreading. RuYi's heart started to race. No way. He wouldn’t. The rumors couldn’t be true.
“Yeah… that’s all. I can take you home if you want.” He said, much to her relief.
“Um… No, that’s fine. That’s fine I can go on my own. It's not far from here.” Ru’Yi looked around frantically.
“Door’s that way.” He pointed over her shoulder.
“Right! I’ll see you around.” Ru’Yi hurried to leave the room before he could even think about confessing.
By himself in the storage closet, Brian let the air out of his lungs in a single breath and told himself it was better this way. There was no point in telling her anything now, only for him to leave. He returned to his bike and got on, steering back onto the pavement and heading to the gym to let off some steam.
They say that the S in Dragonslaying didn’t mean the highest rank. It stood for Suicide. The first S rank student in Cassell, killed himself, and S ranked missions would result in the likely death of all involved. The mission he’d received had three S’s attached.
He had the gym to himself. He tied the tape around his hands and slipped on the boxing gloves over them. He’d resigned himself to his fate. Now that he knew that Ru’Yi would remember him fondly and returned the 20 dollars, he could let go.
He drove his hands into the sandbag in a steady rhythm, focusing his mind there. Each swing came faster and faster, until it was a blur of motion. The sandbag twitched and spasmed under the flurry of blows, emitting a fog of dust. Finally, a powerful punch sent it swinging towards the ceiling.
Brians stepped to one side, panting. This was going to be his last act on this Earth. He had to make it count.
But just like the sandbag swaying back into position, his mind returned to Chu Zihang.
He felt a familiar emptiness. That ache and absence in his life that he’d felt ever since the first grade when the other children brought their fathers in for show and tell. He realized he didn’t have one. He asked his mother why he didn't have one.
She explained very simply that it didn’t matter. He didn’t need one. Fathers were just there to provide genetic material. After that, anyone could be a father. Even her. In his child’s brain, it sort of made sense and for the most part, he went along just fine. But as he grew older, the hole in his life seemed to grow.
He couldn’t relate to his mother as much over time. Instead he turned to television and popular media and the internet to answer his questions and satisfy his curiosity. And for a while, that was enough even as bullies made his life miserable in school.
It wasn’t until he met Ru’Yi that he felt that hole again. She sat down beside him and said. “Don’t worry. Daddy’s coming to take us home.”
She had a father. He did not. But for a moment, when she said that, he’d thought she had included him in that statement.
He had spent the entire car ride crying over more than just bullies.
Not only did the ride with Mr. Chu reopen old wounds, later that night, his Dragonblood decided to wake up. He didn’t realize it at the time, but even with the contact lenses covering his golden eyes, Brian was sensitive enough to pick up on the raging power beneath Chu Zihang’s quiet exterior.
He had enrolled in Cassell, only to find Mr. Chu haunting the pages of this place’s lore, only to find himself studying his methods, admiring him. Chu Zihang replaced the internet and the television figures as the man he wanted to aspire to.
They say, “Never meet your heroes.” for a reason. He finally got to meet Chu Zihang man-to-man, but he was completely different from what he expected him to be. Yes, he was strong and fast and intelligent, but his spirit seemed oddly weak. He had no enthusiasm. No fire.
He just seemed sad.
Brian shook himself. He couldn’t focus on this. Regardless of how soft he’d become, the Chu Zihang that he’d studied wouldn’t let himself get sidetracked by outside emotions.
All that mattered was the mission.
While Brian pummeled in worries into the sandbag, Finger Von Frings was on the phone, dialing the same number again and again. “Pick up. Pick up, you lazy bum, I know you’re getting this...”
“Hello?”
“Mingfei! Finally! Don’t dodge my calls!”
“What? I wasn’t dodging your calls, I was busy!” Said the whiny voice.
“Why all of a sudden are you sending me this mission? This is ... this is extremely dangerous. You of all people should know.” Finger flopped down into the chair that was used by Anjou for decades and reached out towards Adams who obediently had fetched him a beer. “You should know I don’t like it. Why don’t you run this mission yourself?” He took a long sip.
“I know... I know. But don’t worry, I have my own students getting ready to go to. It’s not like I’m sending yours out to fight alone.”
“Your students?” Finger inhaled and started choking.
“Yeah. They’re pretty green, one is still laid up, one is scared of her own shadow and another hates himself. But that never stopped me right?” He laughed.
Finger caught his breath. “This isn’t the time for jokes! I’m not going to be one of those people who sends others out to die!”
“Hey...” Mingfei’s voice softened. “Trust me. I made a promise to Carli that no one would get hurt. But this has to be done. Even though its dangerous.”
“Then why... don’t you do it.” Finger asked, speaking slowly.
“Just trust me. It’s better this way. If things get out of hand, I’ll step in. Okay?”
Finger was quiet for a while, fighting down the emotions rising in his heart. “If one of them dies, it’s on you. You understand that right? The others used to say they understood it... but it didn’t mean anything to them in the end. They just hung their poor student’s pictures in the Hall of Valor and lit candles and looked sad for a while. Only to throw more logs on the fire a few days later.” He snarled into the phone.
“I’ll never forgive them for it. And I’m not going to become them. I’m not, Lu Mingfei.”
Mingfei sighed on the other end. “When you see the results, you’ll understand. But you can hate me for now, if you can’t trust me.”
Finger put his can of beer down. “I’m glad you’re not a complete idiot. How’s the wifey?”
“She’s fine. I’ll tell her you asked.”
“Give her kiss for me?”
“How about no? Anyway, I gotta get back to work.”
“Work. Now there’s a good joke. Piss off.”
“Bye.”
Finger hung up, took a deep breath, and downed the rest of his beer in a single gulp.

Part (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)
Open your eyes, God dammit Y/N open your eyes.
Your head was pounding and you were slowly coming too so your brain was working over time. You knew you needed to open your eyes but you felt as if they had been super glued shut. All to suddenly your eyes were forced open by a rough pair of hands, your mind was struck with a moment of blinding pain as light flooded into your eyes, due to the suddenness you struggled to focus on anything around you. “Her pupils are responding to the light.” A firm but distant voice spoke.
A strike to your cheek brought you into reality faster than you would have liked. Your head snapped to the side and you could taste copper connecting it with blood and then be let out a pained groan. The rough hand suddenly tugged your head back and finally your eyes focused on the man tugging on your hair. “J-Jungkook?”
It couldn’t be. Taehyung picked out his men by himself, he trusted everyone he hired if you could even call it hiring. Jungkook was a brat but you had thought it was because he was new and young. You stared at his face, trying to form any word, your thoughts were beginning to overlap each other. You were suddenly hit with the biggest thought of all. He was with Jimin when you were taken. “Jimin.” You breathed “Where is Jimin?” You asked, dreading the answer.
“Him? Should be half way to the sea floor by now.” He Sneered viciously and the tears started at that moment and began spilling down your cheeks.
Jimin had been your best friend and now he was gone and it was your fault. “He put up one hell of a fight though when he figured it all out.” He continued and you felt anger quickly replace your grief.
“You better hope Taehyung kills you quickly because I won't be so forgiving.” You snarled and thrashed against your restraints.
Jungkook let out a laugh and turned on his heel without a word and left you in the brightly lit room. You took the chance to look around and take in your surroundings. Jimin’s voice was ringing in your head as you scanned the small space ‘What can you hear?’ He would ask. Your ears strained hard and heard the muffled sound of waves splashing against something solid. Jimin had taken it upon himself when you had become engaged to make sure you knew how o save you from any situation. He hadn’t given a reason why but you were thankful he had.’What are you tied to and what with?’ You looked down and saw you were just tied to a rotting old chair with some rope. ‘How tight is that rope? If its too tight you can snap it if it's too loose, you could probably wiggle your tiny hands out.’ Tugging your wrists, you gathered the rope had been tied perfectly and had probably been done by none other than Jungkook himself. You pictured Jimin in your head walking around you as if inspecting the room himself. ‘No doubt Taehyung has been made aware so he’s on his way, it’s exceptionally cold in here so its most likely night time. That chair you are now tied to is so old and rotten you could probably smash it by jumping hard enough.’ He spoke to you and when you focused again he was gone.
You looked down at the chair once more, noting how your legs were free and weakly then very awkwardly stood up before dropping the chair back to the floor feeling the wood split and your still bound wrists be free. They were still tied behind your back so you moved over to the sharp edge of a small counter and began bouncing the rope over it.
Eventually, the rope gave and your wrists were freed. You went to the door and pressed your ear against the aging wood and wrinkled your nose at the pungent smell of fish realized you were at the dock. Jungkook was so young and had been a spy so he wasn’t the big boss, he was just another lackey probably in it for the money. You pulled away from the door when you heard loud, footsteps heading your way. The door flung open and it wasn’t Jungkook that greeted you but the man who had abducted you in the first place. He was much taller and broader than Jungkook was and he wasn’t particularly happy that you had tried to escape. “Thought I could hear banging from in here.” He grumbled before striding towards you.
He roughly turned you around and instead of rope he used duck tape to hold your wrists together. “C’mon Boss wants to see you before lover boy shows up.” He grumbled again and dragged you out of the room.
You were hit with cold, ocean air and you blinked hard to adjust to the new lighting and looked around at your new sighting. As you were pushed you saw a large smear of blood towards the edge of the dock and almost gagged at the sign on Jimin’s ring lodged in a crack. You hurried towards it and grabbed it in your frozen hand before being yanked back up again. You slipped the ring on your finger. You looked around the docks and saw men almost casually roaming the area. You could only hope they didn’t have families because if they did, they wouldn’t be returning home that night.
You suddenly faced with the boss you had heard so much about and you recognized him straight way “Yoongi..”
You knew from way before you met Taehyung, you had been with him for a couple of years before he left you as he accepted some new job. You had been so furious with him for leaving that you had cut off all contact with him. “Hello, beautiful.” He cooed softly while moving towards you.
You growled and lunged forward but you were promptly thrown backward by the tall man from earlier. You were at a complete loss for words, the man you had pictured marrying and starting a family with was right before your eyes. You didn’t want that anymore though. You wanted your fiance and you wanted to go home to your baby-proofed home. You wanted this whole nightmare to be over. “I won't ask why because I assume this is some rivalry between you and Tae.” You growled.
Jimin’s face flashed into your eyes and you got even more enraged and tears of hatred began forming in the corner of your eyes. “ but to drag me and my Tae’s friends into this? You are pathetic Min Yoongi! You hear me? Pathetic! I hate you and I wish I had never met you!” You screamed at him while he stood and watched you unfazed though you swear you could see something flash through his eyes.
He stepped towards you and shrugged of Jungkook who was clutching a gun very tightly in his hand “Y/N I didn’t want you dragged into the middle of this, Nor Jimin.” He spoke calmly with sincerity lacing every word.
You couldn’t find any words, your mouth had gone dry and all anger had flooded out of you to be replaced with utter exhaustion as you collapsed to your knees in front of the man you had once loved. “This will all be over soon.” He comforted and patted your head.
A long heavy silence fell over the docks apart from occasional bird squawk or splash of waves. However, all silence was destroyed when a car was barreling towards the docks and speeds you couldn’t comprehend. “Here he is right on time as usual,” Yoongi said, his voice now cold and hard. All the previous comforting was gone and he stood up straight and tilted his head at the black SUV that had just pulled up.
Taehyung followed by Hoseok another friend of yours flew out of the car and began striding towards where you all were with no care to the numbers against them. You were positive He had the backup but you just couldn’t see them. On land that was as you looked below the dock and saw a boat with some familiar faces piled into it, you spotted a large thick folder in Hoseok’s face.He was usually so sweet and charming but Jimin and he were like brothers and his face was as still as a rock as he through the folder at Yoongi’s feet. Taehyung pulled out a few envelopes and realized what was happening. When Taehyung chucked the envelopes down you frowned and couldn’t stand by and let it happen so you kicked the folder toward the edge of the dock where hopefully someone from the boat might catch it. A blow to your head from what felt like the butt of a gun made you topple to the ground and cry out. You turned your head to the culprit and saw Jungkook holding the very same gun directly at your head. “Pity I was hoping for this to all go a bit smoother.” Yoongi’s calm voice spoke up.
Taehyung and Hoseok were unbelievably tense and ready to kill anyone who even moved. You heard the gun cock and you swallowed hard and looked at Taehyung “I love you.” You breathed, knowing he heard you.
“Yoongi, do this and everyone here dies.” Taehyung threatened, his strong resolve beginning to fizzle at the prospect of losing you.
“We’ll see.” Was all Yoongi said.
You felt the gun press harder into your head and you refused to cry. You stared at Taehyung and Hoseok were beginning to look desperate. The loud bang that followed didn’t cause you any pain and you thought maybe that you had died so quickly you hadn't felt anything but you realized you were still very much alive. Jungkook’s body fell with a loud thump next to yours.
You turned your head to see Jimin standing there. Bloody, bruised and soaking wet but alive. He was holding a gun and pointed it at Yoongi “Let her go and we forget this happened.’’ He growled.
Yoongi licked his lips and his eyes flickered to your form scrambling away from the blood approaching you. “Either you take my offer and get to live another miserable fucking day, or Taehyung kills you and your men exactly where you stand.” Jimin threatened to stay very still as Taehyung and Hoseok got their own guns out.
Time seemed to freeze as Yoongi deliberated over his options. He didn’t too loose everything in that one moment but he also didn’t want to give up easily “Since you seem to be a bit outnumbered and yes Taehyung I see your men under my feet and I don’t doubt more are coming so I’ll bargain with you.” He exclaimed while adjusting his suit.
Taehyung’s were burning with hatred and his jaw was clenching but he said nothing else nor did Jimin “I drop this, I leave you alone permanently but I take her with me.” He offered.
You looked up at Yoongi with wide eyes before turning to look at Taehyung who didn’t look fazed at the absurd offer “Never.” Was all he growled.
Yoongi shrugged and you saw Hoseok reaching out for you and you crawled over to him and took his hand before hiding behind him “Shame, you are choosing one life over countless others.” He remarked while watching Hoseok half carry you to the SUV.
Hoseok sat you in the car and gave you a quick once over to make sure your wounds weren’t life threatening. “Jimin will be here in a moment.” He murmured before shutting the door and leaving you in the dark.
True to his word, Jimin soon turned up and you tended to his wounds while sounds of the fight-filled the silence “Jimin, I found this.” You whispered and took the ring off your finger.
“Keep it,” He protested “Suits you better.” He breathed with a weak smile.
The sound of Hoseok’s loud scream cut through the silence and your head snapped to the window where you saw a large burly man sitting on Hoseok’s chest with a knife pressing against his neck while Hoseok did everything to get him off. You looked around in a desperate attempt and saw Jimin’s bloodied gun and snatched it, then continued to ignore Jimin’s weak protests and barreled out of the car and lifted the gun towards the man and fired shot after shot until the man rolled off Hoseok. You ran to his side and made sure he was okay “What are you doing? Do you want to die? Go back to the car.” He snapped and jumped up and kicked the man to make sure he wasn’t going to get back up.
You backed off  at his words “Thank you though, I owe you my life.” He thanked before lifting his gun and began firing again.
You hurried back to the car and got into the driver's seat “Is he okay? Hoseok is he alright?” Jimin’s pained voice asked you.
You looked back at him and nodded and climbed into the back with him and helped him press on some of his deeper wounds. “Jimin, I am sorry about Jungkook.” You mumbled knowing the two men had been somewhat close.
He looked up at you and pressed a bloodied hand to your cheek “I’m not, he tried to kill you and my best friends. He deserved worse.” He spoke in an oddly calm voice.
You nodded and realized silence was no longer being interrupted by fighting. You saw Taehyung through the tinted windows striding towards the car with Hoseok in tow, they were both covered in blood, both their own and others. Taehyung climbed into the driver's seat “are you both alright?” He asked his voice still tense.
You nodded in response not being able to form words. Taehyung gave a single nodded before speeding away, He made a claim of knowing a small private hospital where they could all be treated without a problem.
After you had been all patched up and been given the chance to rest you asked Taehyung the question you were itching to know “Is he dead? Yoongi?” You nearly whispered.
Taehyung shook his head “no I let him live, can’t say the same for his other men though.” He said without meeting your eyes. You couldn’t help but wonder if he spared Yoongi because of your history with him but you knew you wouldn’t be seeing hide nor hair of Yoongi for a while. “And Jimin, I haven’t seen him since last night, is he alright?” You asked a little more urgently.
Taehyung smiled at how much you cared and gently took your hand “he is perfectly fine, takes a lot to knock that kid down.” He assured while rubbing his thumb over your knuckles reassuringly.
You pulled his arm so he moved closer to you and shuffled to the edge of the bed you were in. “I’ve decided to change Jimin’s position. To your personal bodyguard, he is more than willing but I wanted to ask you first.” He asked timidly.
You knew it took a lot for him to not just do the order and not consult so you could tell he was trying and nodded “alright. It will actually help me sleep a bit better knowing my favorite men are looking after me.” Taehyung smiled “Hoseok may rotate with him every now and then as well.” He offered.
You nodded “that sounds good but I’m your favorite right? Like out of the three of us?” He asked a mischievous glint appearing in his eyes, one you hadn’t seen in a long time.
“I dunno Jimin did just save my life.” You teased, the corners of your mouth turning up.He pouted and climbed onto the hospital bed and leaned over you “that’s not true.” He whined and began littering kisses all over your face.
You giggled and pushed at his chest. “Stop it you Ass.” you pleaded as the kisses trailed down your neck and became ticklish.“How Boyd we join the uh medical high club.” He joked into your ear.
You scoffed and pushed at his chest again “that doesn’t even make sense you idiot.” You wheezed between your laughs.“Okay, I’ll be blunt, let’s have secret hospital sex-” He got cut off as the door opened and the nurse entered the room. She looked very unfazed and even had a small smile on her face as Taehyung clambered off of you. She probably knew what he was and the fact he was acting like a teenager probably amused her.
She came over and checked out your vitals while Taehyung gently held your hand. “You didn’t sustain any major injuries apart from the gash on the back of your head, so you can go home once your drip is done.” She assured with a soft smile.
She left the room and Taehyung gave you another smirk “Well we still have time for that kinky sex.” He joked laughing.
“I’m sure Jimin would be keen.” You joked back and his pout reappeared.
“C’monnnnnnnnn.” He whined and climbed next to you in the bed.
You rolled your eyes “if I give you 2 minutes of making out will you shut up and let me rest?” You grumbled.
He nodded and looked very overly happy and pulled your head gently towards him and placed his rough lips on your own chapped ones. You frowned at how rough and dry his lips were “God damn it Tae, do you ever moisturize your lips?” You complained.
He frowned and turned over and reached up and grabbed his bag which he had brought with things you may have needed to it and pulled out your lip balm and grinned widely and took the lid off and slightly pulled a face at the sweet smell of fruit that filled the space between you both before rubbing some on your lips as well as his own. He chucked it back in the bag before reclaiming your lips. Despite the passion in the kiss, he was very delicate and soft. His tongue prodded at your lips and you groaned. He pinched your side and made you gasp and took his chance to slip his tongue in. He smiled too widely and your teeth briefly clashed and you groaned in annoyance and hit his side which made him giggle.
You felt his hand drift down your body and slipped under the flimsy gown. He wasted no time in placing a gentle hand on the top of your clothed mound, you couldn’t believe this was actually happening and that you were actually getting aroused. “Tae should we really do this?” You breathed after pulling away briefly.
“Why not doll?” he asked while moving his head to nip at your throat.
You moaned ever so slightly “Because you’ll get hard and you are never sated, wait till we get home yeah?” You bargained with him.
He sighed and seemed to finally give in and pressed a final gentle kiss to your lips before letting you rest your head on his chest and you shut your eyes gently before you knew it you were heavily snoring and completely knocked out.
-------------------- Month later--------------------
Taehyung was standing at the altar, hands fidgeting, his mind racing at a million miles a minute. The sight of you walking down the isle made his breath stop, your mother had been the one to give you away as your father didn’t agree with Taehyung in the slightest where as your mom just wanted you to be happy. You approached Taehyung and he took his hands in yours while pulling you closer to him. You couldn’t seem to stop smiling, after everything that had happened you were still going to marry him, you caught a glimpse of Jimin and Hoseok behind Taehyung and knew they were still pretty upset about Jungkook who seemed genuinely excited about the whole wedding. He had been helping the two boys plan their speeches and they had all planned as much as they could together. You saw Hoseok and Jimin both flash bright smiles at you, Hoseok even seemed to shed a tear as Taehyung began his vows towards you. After the third time he called you beautiful you got lost in his eyes, trying so hard not to cry as to not smear your makeup.
After he was finished you began your vows which you felt were half arsed compared to his. Still, you hoped he could just hear the love in each word. When you realized you were over Hoseok stepped forward and handed Taehyung the rings to the both of you. Taehyung placed his ring on your finger and you returned the favor and you both looked at the official “You may kiss your bride.” Became distant words as Taehyung swooped you in his arms even going as far to dip you to dramatize it all. As he pulled away for a brief second he made eye contact with you. “Never let me go.” He breathed before kissing you once more.
(Its overrrrrr my first series, Thank you all for the love and support throughout this small time. I can’t wait for the next one but I am now going to finish all my requests before starting a second series! Hope there aren’t too many mistakes! I apologize if there are!)
