An update was posted to the TEOS Podcast feed containing a message from creators Jake Emmanuel and Willie Block.
In the update, they share that they’re hoping to share the tv series with us “soon”, that the second season on the podcast will hopefully be recorded later this year, and that the official novel will be released on June 20th. The book will feature new parts of the story that aren’t featured on the podcast, including new characters and a look into what happened in other parts of the world when the events of the story took place. They also ask that we support the book, because doing so could help get the show and season 2 to us a lot more quickly. The book is available for pre-sale right now.

podcasts I have already listened to:
The Magnus Archives: My beloved. Absolute favorite. Currently going feral over Protocol
Malevolent: 2nd favorite. Pathetic wet cat of a man experiencing The Horrors (and interpersonal conflicts) is always fun. Also I love kayne so much <3
Welcome to Night Vale: the OG!! I love this but it doesn’t make me go quite as insane as most media I consume. I am, surprisingly, genuinely mostly normal about it.
The Edge of Sleep: It’s been a while since I listened to this, but I remember really liking it!
Other things:
I’ve listened to the first 1 1/2 episodes of The Penumbra Podcast (specifically Juno Steel), but it didn’t really grab me.
I love horror (obviously) but not because I like being scared, I like it because I think the concepts are really cool! Eldritch horror and psychological horror are the best types of horror.
If you recommend something, please gimme a little something to sell me on it. The summaries you can find on google n shit are Not helpful.
If the writing/voice acting/audio quality is a bit off at first but gets better over time, let me know! I’m willing to push through if I know it improves eventually.
And of course, the more queer the better.

So like I randomly chose to listen to The Edge of Sleep and going into the tag hoping for some fanart (which there is a lot of beautiful fanart) and finding out that there’s supposed to be a tv show and that there’s a book is NOT what I was expecting

Take this as my personal recommendation.
Wake of Corrosion and The Edge of Sleep are two of my favorite thriller podcasts to date. (And Wake of Corrosion is coming out with a third season!) Magic Tavern — fictional narrative improv comedy — is my go-to for when I want to just take it easy.
Needed to leave this here because I know like 3 other people who listen to audio dramas and we're all already talked out lol

Well, this is an interesting one to come back to.
After asking around about what I missed while I was gone (and thank you to the people that filled me in!!!) I heard rumblings about a leaked trailer. I wasn’t sure at first about sharing this, but after looking into the specific circumstances of the “leak”…well, it’s not exactly coming from a hidden place, but I’m still not sure we were supposed to find that.
An unlisted landing page for The Edge of Sleep on a certain production company’s website exists, and it is easy to find but out of unsureness as to whether we’re supposed to be poking around there, I won’t say anything more than that. The page features a link to an unlisted sizzle reel, which seems to be a proof-of-concept trailer for the project. However, if you stumble across it, I highly recommend avoiding the sizzle reel if you don’t want spoilers!!!
