Anyways it's a bit of an "it is what it is" situation with twitter. Annoying but happens rather often so i try not to be bothered 😫 if i wanted my gifs on twitter, i'd post them there myself. And since i only have a personal account i haven't used in 8 years, there's not really a way for me to contact the people who do this. And i don't necessarily want others to contact them on my behalf either as i'm not sure msgs like that would be well received.

So yeah, really wish reposting AND cross-platform-posting would happen less but tbf it seems like it's more and more often and kiddos out there also be thinking "source: pinterest" is a valid way to source. I like to also think that obi-wan moved to coruscant from a city called Stewjon which has just so many superheroes that obi-wan was overwhelmed and so over superheroes!! so he moves to coruscant and joins the Coruscanti news team and they’re like “oh do you want to cover superheroes?” and obi-wan is like haha no way in hell if I never see another cape it’ll be too soon

but then there’s a bank robbery he gets caught up in through NO fault of his own and Vader gently touches his face? calls him sweetheart??

obi-wan slinks back to the news station, tail between his legs and asks vos if he can cover the superhero beat with him and vos is like “tck, who got you?” and obi-wan, shameful horny old man, is like…..Vader 😮‍💨

so for about a month now i've been writing my own version of a film score to accompany The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, but it is taking a little bit longer than anticipated. i finished Act 1 of 6 today, which is about 12.5 minutes long. please give it a listen and tell me your thoughts!

there is one part (in the clerk's office) where a muted trombone does a crescendo over a long note, then plays a short accented note. the long note is supposed to go all the way until the short note, but for some reason, the MIDI rendering cuts the long note a bit shorter than it should be.

No but actually coming from someone with fine wavy/curly hair who had some hair loss and lots of issue I really and truly wish I could sit down and talk with Chan because he really needs someone who understands curly hair to get him some products and show him what to do and he also needs to stop using heat. Like no straightening. No hair drying. Or at least very sparsely.

No but like fr hate crimes md is such a fucked up show as you get deeper into it bc yes yes house is an absolute bastard and we're told he wasn't much different prior to his leg infarction minus the pain and drug addiction. But then we find out that okay, his baseline pre-infarction self survived abuse from his father. So, not to take responsibility for his actions off his shoulders but that's some pretty major context!

And there's an element of idk. Wish fulfillment(?) for the viewer in that house is the specialest smart boy so he's allowed to say and do whatever he wants. But then literally everyone around him who is supposed to be at least some sort of friend treats him like absolute crap and is super ableist towards him and very dismissive of the fact that he is disabled and in pain. Like truly truly watching this show is just jawdropping at points bc jfc with friends like these, who needs enemies? And it also makes me wonder what the writers were going for bc house is simultaneously wish fulfillment (don't you wish you were so special your actions didn't experience consequences?) but also it feels like at all times the writers are trying to take him down a peg.

I'm not saying he should be coddled by friends or made more palatable as a character but the writers are showing their hands as being deeply ableist while writing a show with a disabled main character.

Hopefully this makes sense... Just. As someone who spent months using a cane and years in severe pain (health issues since resolved), this show hits a bit close to home sometimes.

Dont usually think about the timelapses procreate spits out but its kinda fun to watch the lines appear in this one. Takes us all the way up to flat colors, as I had to transfer to Clip for the final look
