So like you know the An wedding event or whatever it's called- I had this idea in my mind where basically like reader gets an offer to be a bridal model by some photographer, and then readers goes up to their s/o asking them to accompany them at the photoshoot?? So can I request this with Akito, Mizuki, Toya and Minori?

Sorry if it sounds like a boring idea it sounded cute in my head 😭

♡ WEDDING MODEL - Akito Shinonome, Mizuki Akiyama, Toya Aoyagi and Minori Hanasato x Reader

Akito:

Akito doesn't really think much for photoshoots or modeling, he prefers talking about the outfits more than anything

Still, the moment he hears you were asked to model for a wedding shoot, he knew he'd want to go even if you didn't ask him

He's actually really excited to model with you, although he doesn't really think about how he'll be affected by you in such an outfit

He'd be standing outside of the dressing room, readjusting his tie before he glanced over at you, and he's stunned

"...Akito? You okay?" He snaps back to reality at the sound of your voice, face flushed, "I...Yeah, you just look...really good."

Apart from him growing incredibly flustered, it's a very fun experience for you both, and Ena asks to post the photos <3

Mizuki:

Mizuki absolutely loves modeling and pretty outfits, and they would absolutely jump at the chance to model

The moment they hear that someone asked you to model for a wedding shoot of all things, they immediately jump on the chance!

They will not shut up about the event, and they're just so excited to dress up like this with you! Gets them thinking about the future...

They were gushing over the dress they were wearing, but the moment you walked out in your outfit, they gushed even more

"Oh my god, look at you!" They're quick to hug you, holding your hands with a teasing smile, "You'd make such a great spouse!~"

You both have an absolute blast, and they make sure to ask you to model outfits like that more often! <3

Toya:

Toya has participated in wedding events before, but he has also never been in a photoshoot or modeled before

Despite being your boyfriend, he's almost a bit surprised you invite him to the wedding shoot. Still, he's happy to come with you!

He's honestly a little nervous as he accompanies you, really hoping that he doesn't mess you or himself up during the shoot

He checks that his suit is fitting properly, fidgeting with the tie before you walk out of the dressing room. He freezes in place

"...Woah." You don't miss the blush that settles across his face as he looks you over, smiling shyly, "You look...amazing."

Much to his relief, the photoshoot goes as well as it can, and Akito and An tease that that's how you'll both look in a couple years <3

Minori:

As an idol, Minori has grown used to the concept of photoshoots and modeling, yet she's never done much with wedding events

So, when you invite her along to the bridal photoshoot, she immediately accepts, excited to see what it would be like!

She's always thought that bridal models were gorgeous, especially hearing about it from Airi and Shizuku, so she's very excited!

She was fixing her wedding dress before she looked over at you. Her eyes widened, and her face immediately turned bright red

"...Minori?-" She immediately starts squealing, her hands over her mouth and hearts in her eyes, "You look sososo beautiful!!"

The photoshoot is an absolute blast, and she won't stop rambling and gushing about how pretty you looked to MMJ! <3

Anon that asked for 🐍 Mizuki thank you so much! I melted, it was so cute! Also your masterlist makes me so nostalgic... I remember when I first watched Black Butler Season 2 and do you think you can write Alois (my sweet poor baby) with a reader that is part of Noahs Ark Circus and acrobatic rider or just an acrobat (maybe he is a member of the inner circle with a prothesis or not, up to you!)? Tbh just Alois that visits the circus, he deserves a break!

Note: He may not be me favorite character but he honestly needs a break for once. Also I haven't watched the book of circus so I had to do some form of digging to find out what episodes I needed to watch.

"Come on, Claude! The show's about to start!" Alois said as he dragged Claud inside and over to a seat.

"The show doesn't start till four minutes from now." Claude said with a small sigh before sitting down with Alois. They waited four minutes and that's when the lights started to dim before a light in the very middle turned on showing someone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boy and girls! Welcome to Noah's Ark Circus! My name is Joker. Pleased to meet 'ee!" Joker introduced himself as he juggled a couple of balls only to not catch any of them as they bounced on his head when he bowed making the crowd laugh. He stopped bowin and opened his mouth revealing a blue ball which disappeared when he held it in his hand. "I wonder how he did that. Don't you Claude?" Alois asked as he tugged on his sleeve.

"I don't, my lord." Claude simply answered. "Tonight you'll see performances to stun and amaze 'ee!" He said and a couple of other people appeared behind him when the lights in the background turned on, also revealing people on a swing.

"And now, with a great broze from our fire-breathing Jumbo, the show of the century begins!" Joker announced before him and the few other acrobats ran off allowing Jumbo to blow fire towards the crowd.

"First our trapeze artist, perfectly in tune with each other: Peter and Wendy!" Joker said showing a girl letting go of her swing and the boy catching her without much effort making the group cheer and clap. "Wow! Look at that Claude!" Alois exclaimed as his eyes light up in pure joy. "Our knife-thrower, the perfect shot who never misses his target: Dagger!" Joker announced revealing a boy throwing knifes at a women only for him to miss each time before hitting the apple that was on her head. The crowd clapped and cheered once again.

They then moved onto a man who had a couple of snakes wrapped around him. "And now, a beautiful dance by that rarest or rarities, our own serpent-man, Snake!" Joker exclaimed. "I wonder how he doesn't worry about them biting him." Alois said, his eyes following every move he made.

"And next... Look above ye, ladies and gents! A death-defying tightrope walk by the circus princess, Doll!" He said and everyone looked up seeing a women with an umbrella walking on the rope before doing a split in the air. "Next is the star of our troupe! I bring 'ee the famous tamer of wild cats!" Joker said as a women made the tiger that was there lay on its stomach before she put her foot on top of the tiger.

"Beast!" He exclaimed and the crowd cheered and clapped. "That must be scary right Claude?" Alois asked and Claude just simply nodded his head. "Last, but not least, our most elegant horse rider!" Joker said perking Alois's interests.

You came out of the entrance in the back of the circus while on a beautiful white horse which instantly started running around on the far part of the circle. Joker had a wip in hand as he followed where you and the horse were going. Every so often you'd get off the horse and followed it before getting back on but backwards with your hands spread outwards.

You flipped yourself off the horse again, but laid on your back this time with one hand out and quickly sat back up but backwards before doing the same thing, but on your stomach. Eventually as the horse rode around the circle you stood up on it and blew kisses to the crowd. "And what do you think of him, my lord?" Claude asked. "He's beautiful.." Alois mumbled as he watched you in awe. "But he has a prosthetic leg, my lord." Claude said with a raised brow.

"So? That doesn't change anything!" Alois said to him, not taking his eyes off you once. You made direct eye contact with Alois and blew him a kiss with a smile making his face heat up rather quickly. You sat back down on the horse as it started to slow down and that's when the entrance re-opened. You turned your head to face Alois and waved him a small bye.

"That concludes the rest of our show ladies and gents! I can't wait to see you all here on our next show!" Joker announced and that's when everyone that performed came back on stage and bowed.

"He truly is outstanding.."

EAVESDROP CONFESSIONS

reader's pov

'to serve the princess.' you thought, wiping off the sweat on your face. being one of the five chosen knights to be the serve princess tenma, or saki as she insisted, was difficult. it included intense training from day to night, you thought that you would get used to it by now, being a senior, but how wrong you were. the king demanded extra hours and more intense training, especially now when the country is at risk of being under attack.

'to serve the country.' you thought, trying to 'fix' your wet hair, who are you trying to impress?, it was so wet that it could be mistaken as the niagra falls. finding the action useless, you gave out a small sigh and started removing your armor.

'to fight for the people.' you thought, changing into something more comfortable. your mind wondered to the people in kamiyama, the elderly who never hesitated to gift fruits and pray for the knights, the adults who looked at them with respect and gratitude, and to the teens and children, who either wanted to be a knight or just want to support them.

'to fight along with my friends.' you thought, stepping out of the bathroom. dressed in your most comfortable clothes, and even finding a way to dry and fix your hair. again, who are you trying to impress? your mind shifted from the people to your fellow knights. those present when you where still a recruit and those present when you where finally chosen as one the princess' personal bodyguards, who where definitely hanging around in the courtyard, waiting for you so you could all go to dinner together.

shinonome akito. a boy with bright orange hair and a strong build. he is one of the three newest knights selected, blessed upon by strength and talent with his sword, he never fails to strike any enemy down. he is someone who is always there for his friends, someone who always speaks his mind. though he is easily irritated, he can control his actions.

akiyama mizuki. with the talent of staying stunning even after hours and hours of training, they never fail to amaze you. the only time you were never amazed is when you see their pink locks running towards to you, locking you into an inescapable embrace and ushering you to their room to "try a new hairstyle" or to "try a new dress I (they) recently made", basically being their irl mannequin. though aside from being full of surprises, they are actually good in the battlefield. along with akito, they are apart of the newly recruited personal bodyguards. with their agility and speed, they are always two steps ahead from the enemy.

hinomori shiho. joining the army for her sister, she never lets herself get side-tracked. her fierce swordsmanship and personality was something praised upon by everyone, including the king himself. he couldn't help stare in awe when he looked from his castle window, there he saw a young girl, immediately defeating her partner for that day. he didn't even let her graduate as a knight, when night had fallen that day, he immediately called me. he told me to "tell instructor shiraishi, that cadet hinomori will be transferred into the castle to serve the queen." and thats what i did, making her the final newly recruited bodyguards of princess saki.

thinking about them makes you proud, they deserve the position they have today. but you also remember of your former comrades, kamishiro rui, kusanagi nene, and aoyagi toya. no, they aren't dead. but they were badly injured during the previous war, making them useless in the battlefield. but now, they are instructors teaching new recruits, making them still close to the castle. meaning you could still see them from time to time.

lastly we have the one and only superstar, tenma tsukasa. being the kings first-born, everyone thought that he would inherit the throne, not some knight whose life could easily be taken away from them in a second. and to everyone's surprise, the king didn't even question him and let him do as he pleases.

if possible, you could talk about him everyday. he who makes everyone smile in the toughest times, he who fights for what's right, he who proves that he is not just the kings first-born, he who loves the country, he who loves his friends and fellow knights, he who loves his family, most importantly his dear sister, and he who (you hope) loves yo—

"[name]...? i hope you haven't passed out there! remember what the king did to you last time you did this!" oh.

"s-sorry mizuki! i got lost in my thoughts." you said as you quickly turned on the faucet, using the cold water to conceal your red face.

"hmm, it's not like you to get oh so lost in your thoughts." they said, stepping in your assigned bathroom with their hands behind their back and a teasing smile on their smile. "what's got you so lost? or rather whose got you so red? it's tsu— ?"

"shhh! can't you lower your voice? people might hear you!" you whisper-yelled as you slammed your hand into mizuki's mouth. "and it's not tsukasa! what makes you even think that?!"

"well..." they started, "you always look at him, you always smile at him, you always have this 'lovey dovey' face whenever you look at him, you get defensive when i acuse you of liking him..."

the lists goes on and on, it was so far that when they finished your face was reaching its boiling point. seeing mizuki's smug face, you couldn't help but turn away from them, rolling your eyes as you cool your hot face.

"i don't know mizuki, i think you're being delusional" you said still ignoring their curious eyes, and before you could hear their response a new voice joins the conversation.

"you know [last name], for once, i'm with akiyama here."

the blush that was starting to fade away quickly regain its color as your hear the sharp but quiet voice of shiho who was standing at the doorway. snapping your head at her direction, you quickly pulled her inside and locked the doors.

mizuki snickered at your panicked and defeated expression, with shiho's backup they knew that you won't be getting out the room without spilling your feelings.

"don't be so loud shiho! also, you can call us by our first names you know? calling me [last name] makes me feel so old." you said as your face regained its natural color, giving out a nervous and uneasy laugh your eyes darted across the room, not once looking at theirs.

"we know what your doing [name]" mizuki said, sharing a look with shiho who nodded. "it's either you tell us, or we'll tell them."

"so cruel... i never took you as someone whose into gossip shiho.."

shiho blushed and looked away, but she still didn't budge as she went to guarding the bathrooms door. looking defeated you just sighed and told them everything.

third person's pov

akito couldn't help but wonder what's gotten their 'ultra mega star' so down. in his perspective, tsukasa looked like a child who didn't get the toy that he wanted and was seconds away from throwing a tantrum. but akito could care less, he didn't want to get roped into whatever he was planning nor did he care if tsukasa was planning something.

so he asked him.

"what's gotten you in a grumpy mood?" akito asked, looking at his senior with a raised brow. tsukasa didn't bother giving him an answer (which irritated the ginger) as he continued to look at the direction where [name]'s assigned bathroom was located with furrowed brows.

connecting the dots together, akito released a sigh and rolled his eyes. pushing himself away the pillar he was leaning on, he slowly walked towards the bathroom. despite his thoughts about his senior, he couldn't help but respect him in different ways. he knew that tsukasa had given his all to every challenge in his life and he knew that he would never let anything happen to his comrades ever again.

tsukasa noticed where akito was going and immediately halted him.

"hey! don't tell me you're thinking of going to [names]'s bathroom? what are you, a creep?!" he shouted, his voice echoing across the empty halls making akito halt in his steps. he turned to look at the blond male, a disgusted and annoyed look printed on his face.

"huh?! what did you just say to me?!" akito yelled back. "and for the record, i was going to the kitchen! who knows how long they are staying and talking there. i'm getting hungry each second. if you don't believe me then you can come with."

and that's what tsukasa did. the two of them were quiet as they walk to the kitchen, with tsukasa sneaking some accusing stares at his junior and akito still having his annoyed look etched on his face. it was like that for minutes until they heard hushed whispers from the bathroom.

"...guess so..."

"that's so... [name]! who knew... had a thing for...!"

"...does that mean?! also... your voice down! help... shiho!"

curious, akito stopped infront of the bathroom and pressed his ears against its door to hear the conversation better.

appalled, tsukasa looked at him with wide eyes as he shaked his companions shoulder.

"what are you doing?!" the blond whisper-yelled, keeping his voice down to avoid getting caught "you're invading their privacy!"

sure tsukasa himself was curious on why his friends are in one bathroom and what they were talking about but he couldn't just go past his morals and listen in without them knowing. shaking his thoughts away, he began to scold akito again but he couldn't, not when—

"look, i'll say this once and never again. yes, i am in love with tsukasa tenma and no, i will not confess my feelings for him. got it?"

not when the world around him stopped moving, not when his eyes went wide and face turned red, not when his hands turned sweaty and tightened its hold on akito's shoulder, not when the latter looked at him with wide and shocked eyes.

not when the door they where leaning on slowly opened.

not when they had fallen to the floor and looking up to three pairs of shocked eyes.

not when he made eye contact, with the person who had just admitted their feelings for him.

and most importantly, not when they bolted out the room, teary-eyed.

Heya there, ✨! Congrats on becoming the first names anon here! I don't know much about manhwa, but I hope this was enough to fit your likes!

Ena Shinonome

Let's be fair, Ena hates people with big egos. As someone who has had to work extremely hard and put a lot of effort into what she does to not receive any recognition, she does tend to resent those who believe they deserve it without the same sacrifices...

So when she hears about your noble status, it gives her a bad impression. Since she hasn't actually met any people like you before, she's fallen for a few stereotypes herself, as much as she tried to refuse it.

She was... Stunned when she first saw you. Your look wasn't standoffish, or too overbearing. However, your appearance alone established a regal atmosphere without it feeling suffocating. She was stunned...

She would take a few secret photos of you for her to have fun editing. This was a pretty rare chance, after all! She never used the regal themes much before in her edits, so this could be an interesting change of pace. She wouldn't post them without your permission, and would always block your face though!

Honestly, she was at a loss. What was she supposed to do? Was she supposed to act natural? No, that would be too offensive! Should she act formal as well? She has never been too good at it!

Before long though, she learns that you don't mind her normal attitude, as long as she keeps the condescending part to a minimum, and she sighs in relief.

She will definitely ask about how your place looks! The colors, aesthetics, textures, she wants to know it all! If you're able to show her photos, she'll spend hours staring at them to take in every single pixel! Also...

"How did you just keep your cool talking with that cashier?? She was just so rude! She didn't need to pry into our personal life with those questions! God, it's so frustrating what some people do! But... You didn't bat an eye, nor raise your tone! How...?? You're so amazing!"

You shrug it off as something you have to deal with often, and get used to, and Ena seriously questions the implications that you and others of the group may not be so different...

Offer her lessons in proper manners, it could go a long way! Ena isn't the type to mince her words, so this could help her a lot to stay out of trouble...

All in all, meeting you and spending time with you would be an enlightening experience for her, to learn and to explore a side of the world she knew little about! And with you by her side, she could work on some positive attitudes for a change!

Mizuki Akiyama

Mizuki knows that acting the way they do isn't the most pleasing for any stranger, so they have learnt about how to act respectfully and properly, even think it may not seem like it!

That's why they were a bit stiff when first meeting you, making sure you didn't mind their normal attitude, before relaxing once you tell them that it's fine, that they didn't need to force it too much.

They will still treat you a bit special, teasing you less and being generally more respectful altogether! It's... Weird. Their usual energy still shines through, and it's evident that they aren't acting as before.

If any of your clothes need a small touch up, they will jump at the opportunity and help you! They will be a bit nervous working with such precious materials, but their talent is unmatched!

They will also host small dress up sessions in your house with all of the clothes you don't use much. They look like they're having so much fun... These clothes are so rare after all!

However, they're taken by surprise when you tell them to try some out. It's... A shock! Mizuki, wearing regal clothes! Well, don't mind them as the session doubles in length and noise with them squealing and getting excited!

Since then, they've fully loosened up and now treat you like anyone else! Teasing you, trying to crack your respectful demeanor, taking cover behind you when someone else (Ena, usually) starts to criticize their behavior...

It becomes a test of sorts, as you try to endure either the urge to shut them up or to laugh at their behavior, although you will laugh more when out of the public's eye. It's such a weird experience, unique of such a person like them!

"Waaaah, why is Ena so meaaaan?? The only thing I wanted was to ridicule her by showing how much editing her selfies went through before being posted! I mean, three hours?? SERIOUSLY?? And she says that I'm the unreasonable one! Waaaahhh... You're on my side, riiiight??"

They do know when to tone it down though, and when they notice that you're tired or simply not having any of it, they return to a more passive attitude, even showing a respectful front instead of you at times!

All in all, they will flip your life upside down, so long as you stay by their side! Everything becomes lighter and brighter next to them, letting you lower your guard with no fear of needing it on, thanks to the casual environments! Just make sure to remain by their side... You're a pillar of strength, even if you don't realize it.

Heyo dor! what's you're thoughts about the new cards random question hdkshsjs

hi attic :} tbh I’ve never been a big fan of the new years sets cause the styles are never consistent throughout the cards… like when you compare the tsukasa card to the rin card, rin looks like she’s from another set entirely or just a 3*. The an card I think looks cool though, again, just doesn’t go with Tsukasa’s style, the banner.

The fest cards I think are amazing though. Ena’s lighting is stunning and the colors in Mizuki’s are rlly entrancing. But I prefer last year’s new years set over this one tbh

#my biggest pet peeve when it comes to this game are sets that have inconsistent styles #like the painful hope set…#haruka’s had an amazing theme #but they didn’t stick with it for minori’s or rin’s and they ended up looking bland #I love the cards either way but also the find a way out set #but with that the cards didn’t look bland so it’s ok ig #mootie pookies #dor spoken

After that, I played some more substories, where I found out that the fake Mizuki who got killed by Nishikis goons was just a hostess in a bar called "Pares", where they lure people who search for the bar "Ares" in by saying that they misremember the name. And to make the trap even better, they modelled the interior after Ares, and had the woman get the same tattoo etc. as Mizuki, so, the only reason that poor woman got abducted by yakuza and killed was because her boss wanted to scam drunkards into thinking his bar was the original ares. No idea why they didnt just add that to the story and made it a substory, but thats just grim and really unlucky. And with that, I played every substory in the game, which means only one thing: Amon time! My first ever Amon fight, and its the first amon of the whole franchise! These "Jo amon NO dmg NO tiger drop" videos make it look so easy, but the only way I won was by using my most op swords and abusing the komaki parries and tiger drops to trap him in an eternal loop of getting stabbed, getting up, getting tiger dropped and so on. The guy has 3 damn phases with purple lifebars, in the first one, he just is Arase but cool and pumped up (Did I mention that Arase looks super weird in the original Yakuza? He looks like a washed up Travis Touchdown who got a job as a college prof, seriously, look him up when you get the chance), where he just snipes you from across the arena and stunlocks you, the second phase is even worse because he throws grenades at you, which not only knock you down, but also STUN you, and they knock off 1/5 of your health, and sometimes he throws like four at ONCE. And even worse, he runs trough the resulting smoke to overhead kick you while the game is lagging from all the effects on screen. Third phase, he throws one grenade from time to time (as a treat) and tries to stab you and tiger drop you back. But I did it! After like 5 attempts, I was victorious!! Thank you old man Komaki!

Also, Kiryus and Dates facial expressions while trying to explain to Haruka what a soapland is are amazing, even with PS2 graphics lol. And with that, off to the soapland and after that, its already the finale and I gotta face Nishiki and Jingu in the millenium tower! What a ride so far!

this sounds like such a marvelous and enjoyable little experience i might need to boot up my ps2 emulator and give these games another go because they sound so awesome. i am going to be thinking about kiryu and date trying to explain something like that and imagining their facial expressions..

So this is it guys. Part 3 of the Miku event. I’m not even sure if I’m gonna be able to pull this off well and I feel like I unintentionally hyped it up bc of how much I’ve been putting it off. But here we gooooo.

Recap: I sure hope you guys read the first 2 parts before reading this one. Anyways, Ken spills the beans about Sekais and Miku. The groups freak out when they realize an adult knows and then freak out more when they notice the other groups are freaking out. Then comes the realization that everyone there knows what a Sekai is and that they can talk to Miku. Everything is happening at a rapid fire pace, and then Emu presses the Untitled button. I feel like Emu speaks to Miku from her phone a lot and it feels like a miracle no one has noticed it yet. So yeah, the first Sekai on this tour is Wonderland Sekai.

Wonderland Sekai:

So I’m gonna assume that all of the Vocaloids are there. And that all of them will be present in the other Sekais too (except 25ji). Tsukasa I think is the one who originally made the Wonderland Sekai and mentions that it was to like reflect his desire to make his sister smile. So ofc you know Leo/need are amazed by it and Saki is happy to see such a fun place and knowing how important she is to him. Leo/need look on fondly and all think that this Sekai is just like Tsukasa. MMJ is also sort of stunned by the place. Shizuku thinks it matches Tsukasa perfectly too. They’d also probably like how positive the place is. W/ VBS, Kohane is having the time of her life seeing how lively this Sekai is. An thinks it’s alright, but maybe a little gaudy. Toya is probably admiring it and Akito just sort of wants to get out of there. 25ji are all shocked to the core at how opposite this Sekai is to the Empty Sekai. I feel like other than Mizuki, they’d all be overwhelmed and would still prefer their Sekai over Wonderland. But Mafuyu. Mafuyu would probably feel a muted mix of emotions. Bc if Tsukasa was the primary person to make this Sekai, then what does that say about her? Mafuyu would feel maybe even more depressed bc it shows how little there is to her that her Sekai is so empty and lifeless. The other 25ji probably notice that Mafuyu isn’t doing too well and try to cover for her a little since she might be spiraling. I feel like Emu would notice the dead looks in her eyes and be terrified. She might try to go over to Mafuyu to try to comfort her/make her smile, but Mizuki and Ena might try to distract her. I would also like to think that maybe Shizuku notices that Mafuyu is asking off. She’d be concerned, but she’d also notice that 25ji is sort of hovering around her and will leave it for now. Ken also notices and stays close but also at a distance. He’d recognize an internal meltdown and while he wants to help, I feel like Ken would recognize that Mafuyu might not even want his help at this point. So all he can do is just keep an eye on her for now. On a lighter note, he probably thinks the Wonderland Sekai is a fever dream of some kind and notices how wildly different it is to the Street Sekai.

The Vocaloids show up after hearing the commotion. Everyone is surprised at these versions of the Sekai. Miku is the genki girl who is like a whirlwind contrasting drastically from the other Mikus. This Kaito is the troupe leader (tho bullied), but seems reliable. (I don’t think I’m gonna go too deep into the Vocaloid differences, bc ofc they’re gonna be different). But I will note that all of 25ji are weirded out by how peppy Rin, Luka, Meiko, and Miku are.

Side note: I’d like to think that maybe the Vocaloids show everyone their stage and do a quick performance for them. I know that time that passes in the Sekai matches time passing IRL, but I like to think that maybe the Vocaloids can bend the time a little and make it so that they’re not taking up too much time. (Mafuyu still having a crisis in the back)

So the next Sekai I think would be Leo/need’s School Sekai. Saki would want to show Tsukasa her Sekai next and no one protests. Everyone kind of wonders how to get there and Kaito mentions they can just have L/n press their Untitled soundtrack. They press it and arrive at the School Sekai, but also notice a colorful door has popped up now. They open it and see that it links to the Wonderland Sekai now and that they can just cross over to it without Untitled. School Luka pops up from the School Sekai side and mentions they can press Untitled to get back to the real world, but they can probably use the doors to go back and forth since ‘their feelings from their strong bonds have now formed these pathways’. Or some meta thing like that. (Basically, each group will use their Untitled while in someone else’s Sekai for the first time in order to get to their specific Sekai, but after that first time, a door will show up that they can just use now).

Can’t really say much about the School Sekai since I think it’s just a reflection of Miya except emptier. L/n shows everyone the starry sky on the roof and mentions that it’s probably based on their promise as kids. Tsukasa and Shizuku probably remember seeing L/n as kids always staring at the stars when they were together. VBS can respect their desire to go pro. Minori probably comments that it’s funny how rooftops are important for them too since the rooftop at Miya is used a lot as the setting for MMJ’s practice and where they all technically met. They decide to go to MMJ’s Stage Sekai next. (Ken is still there, but I honestly can’t imagine him saying much about a school. Maybe noting that the stars look really authentic and he wouldn’t have guessed this was a Sekai if he hadn’t seen the song being pressed. BTW, Mafuyu having more crisis now since this Sekai was made by 4 ppl and it’s still more than the Empty Sekai. Is she really that empty? And the sky, the sky and the stars were so bright, but the sky was dull in the Empty Sekai and she’s sinking more.)

So everyone isn’t really surprised that MMJ’s Sekai is composed of stages since they are all idols. The groups are probably impressed by how far the stages go since I think the Stage Sekai is literally like endless stages stretching as far as the eye can see. So you know in the Stage Sekai there’s that tech management area behind the seats (you see it when you click into the Stage Sekai when you’re playing the game), that’s where the doors pop up. The colorful door for the Wonderland Sekai that has like balloons and stuff on it, and then the simple, sliding door that’s a copy from Miya school’s door. Anyways, MMJ probably drags all of the groups onto a stage just to show them the feeling of being on a stage. L/n probably feel their resolve reaffirmed since they want to go pro. VBS note how different a larger audience would be compared to their live shows (maybe the idea of going pro will pop up for them in the future), but they still can’t help but wonder if RAD WEEKEND felt like something like this. Maybe Ken makes a comment about how being on a stage feels nostalgic. WxS are all probably amazed at the stage size and wonder if they could improve the stage at Phoenix Wonderland to be bigger too. 25ji are all overwhelmed again since the stage is so different from how they post songs online.

Ken maybe suggests they stop by the Street Sekai next so that they can take a break. (maybe he notices how 25ji had been shooting worried looks at Mafuyu bc she’s tensing at the thought of going to her Sekai). An obliges and they pop up in the streets of their Sekai. 3 doors have shown up now with the lit-up door of the Stage Sekai being added to the list.

VBS leads the groups to crase cafe and talk a little about how extensive the streets are. The groups probably notice the RAD WEEKEND posters and Ena notes the street art on the walls. Maybe Kohane mentions how the Vocaloids are ok with them adding to the street art and offers Ena a chance to try out street art at some point (I feel like Kohane and Ena would be art buddies since Kohane knows so much about photography and Ena could ask her for advice and Kohane seems to have an artistic sense too). As they get closer to crase cafe, they probably stumble upon some of the Vocaloids singing outside since they tend to perform in the streets. People probably note how laid back they are and how sassy Miku is. I also like to think that Ena teases Akito about how Len seems to look up to him. Anyways they get to the cafe and Meiko is delighted at having a crowd. Even if they don’t eat anything having a space to rest and relax is a good pit stop for them. The groups sort of sit with each of their groups I guess to reflect about the Sekai tour. Ken wonders over to Meiko’s counter and she asks him how everyone is doing. They chat some more. 25ji get a corner seat and all sort of have a group meeting. They reveal their thoughts about the other Sekais, but also discuss whether they want to reveal the Empty Sekai to everyone else. I think Ena would try to say it might be too troublesome to explain things and Mizuki agreeing. Kanade saying it’s Mafuyu decision if she wants to reveal her Sekai to the other groups, bc they also know that if they do, they would have to talk about their secrets too. Now hear me out, I know they could just show the Sekai and leave, or just reveal Mafuyu’s secret and leave, but I feel like whenever this Sekai tour happens, 25ji are a little more united and they as a group know about Mizuki’s secret by now. So they all believe that if Mafuyu reveals her secret they should do as a sign of solidarity and so that they can help her. Normally, I don’t think Mafuyu would let the other groups into her Sekai, but for the sake of the Sekai tour and so that I can HC that Mafuyu can move forward, Mafuyu decides to show her Sekai to the others. It’d be too suspicious not to at this point. I think at this point Mafuyu is just so tired of everything and spiraling.

As things quiet time, 25ji step forward and say that they can show their Sekai to the other groups, but they have to promise that whatever they see or talk about in that Sekai, they can’t reveal to other people in the real world or else. The groups notice the atmosphere shift and I like to think that at this point they take it seriously and agree. So they all go to the Empty Sekai and ooh boy.

Mafuyu completely drops the act. The others notice the shift in her facade and the Vocaloids pop up. The groups note how dark this world is compared to the others and how empty it is. They also note how no doors have shown up. So Mafuyu talks about her past and feelings. 25ji note how she sounds similar to when she revealed her secrets to them initially (i.e. the main story). So ofc the other groups are shocked to hear how torn up Mafuyu is. And 25ji decide to reveal their feelings/backstories too to support Mafuyu (including the disappearing aspect) and show that they understand how she feels. So Ken steps up and tells Mafuyu that her parents shouldn’t be doing that, how she is her own person and that she’s still so young so it’s ok she doesn’t know, how she and 25ji really should see a therapist or something, etc. everything we want to say to 25ji. The other groups toss their hats in and try to be supportive for 25ji. Honami crying about how she’s sorry she never noticed Kanade’s feelings, Saki sympathizing bc if she didn’t have her brother she could have spiraled too, Shizuku being horrified she never noticed Mafuyu’s feelings and that she also understands putting up the perfect girl facade, Minori wanting to try to help in providing cheer to them and empathizing with Ena feeling like she’s not enough (Minori gets back up and works hard but I also feel like it does bother her that she’s a rookie still), Airi also upset she never noticed Ena’s feelings since they’re close friends, An also upset and that feeling like she should have support Mizuki more, same with Akito and Toya, esp with Akito feeling upset he never saw how far his sister’s depression got (it’s not his job to fix her insecurities, but he still cares about her), Emu feeling guilty now and wanting to help Mafuyu have a real smile, the same applying to the rest of WxS since they all desire to provide happiness to others. So basically the other groups can understand and support 25ji. I’m not saying they’re going to fix the 25ji, but help maybe provide a larger net of friends and support for 25ji. So Mafuyu feels warmth in her chest and notes it to herself, but 25ji can recognize that Mafuyu is feeling better. Ken says that Mafuyu needs a safe place to go to, Weekend Garage can be a place she can hang around if she needs it. I know I know, realistically he might not, but I like supportive dad Ken, esp since there’s like no stable adult figure that’s present consistently in this game.

And then the doors poof in. 4 doors now with VBS’s graffiti door added to the list.

Anyways, after that large bonding session, someone presses Untitled and they’re back in Weekend Garage. Not much time has passed and everyone leaves feeling like they got closer to others now.

But now they have the possibility of going to the other Sekais and seeing the other versions of the Vocaloids. As well as just more inter-group mingling. Shizuku providing more alibis for Mafuyu so that Mafuyu can get out of the house more. Mafuyu being able to drop the facade around the other groups since they know now. The groups trying to get her to have fun more. And people just going to Kanade’s house and getting her to come out more. Group study sessions at VBS’s crase cafe. Ena taking advantage of free pancakes and doing some street art there. Stage practice at the Stage Sekai. And the list goes on.

I guess you could tell I was losing steam towards the end there. But yeah the main reason for this event I guess was bc I wanted the other groups to see the Empty Sekai, let Mafuyu be ‘herself’ around more ppl, and having a larger support network. They don’t necessarily have to actively help with her issues, but just letting Mafuyu act like a teenager and hang out is probably healthier than her staying at home studying. I might do more extensive HC posts later on that talk more about these inter-group interactions but we’ll see. Sorry if this was really messy guys. I sort of wanted to get this out of the way at this point. I know I glossed over some stuff, but I’m still unsure about some groups and characters and how they think. I also am just like keeping track of so many interactions and relationships and this is a lot of info. But I still tried my best.

Halloween Costumes (HC)

Fandom: BSTS

Pairing: Team K x Reader, Team W x Reader, Team B x Reader

Warning: Suggestive.

Prompt: Reader to picks out a “couple costume” for Halloween.

A/N: Click on the names of the men to see the whole costumes!

Prologue

Starless was hosting an invitation exclusive Halloween party. When you read the invitation, you noticed a line in bold letter: Must wear a costume.

You wanted to costume shop together with your boyfriend, but as usual, he was too busy. So, you decide to take the matter into your own hands. Without asking him, you pick out a costume for him (and you), but unbeknownst to him, you decide to go with a couple's costume.

Team K

Kei

You wanted to see Kei as a vampire again, but when you reached for the costume, you noticed the costume beside it.

‘A devil?’ You smirked. ‘A sexy devil.’

Kei raises his eyebrow when he sees his devil costume.

“Devil? Is that how you see me?” He asks with a smirk.

“N-No. I just thought it would look good on you.”

Kei can’t help but smile when he sees your costume. He thinks it suits you well.

“My dear angel, you couldn’t look any more heavenly.”

Kei takes a hold of your hand and pulls you close to him, pressing his lips on yours.

“K-Kei?”

“You made me a devil, so don’t expect me to be an angel.” Kei leans in close to your ear, “The devil will show you later tonight what he can do.”

Sotetsu

Since last Halloween, you had dreamt of seeing Sotetsu as a vampire.

When you show him the costume, he laughs, “Be prepared to see the world’s sexiest vampire.”

Sotetsu is in surprised to see you in your costume.

“Such a beautiful vampiress,” he walks up to you and nuzzles your neck, “you smell nice.”

He presses the tip of his fake fangs into your neck.

“Let me drink your blood.”

“Sotetsu!?”

He chuckles and presses his lips on your neck, “I am joking, babe...kinda.”

Ginsei

Ginsei has always been your prince charming, so you couldn’t think of a more befitting costume for him.

“A p-prince?” He is shocked to see his outfit.

Ginsei looks like a prince straight out of a disney movie. Perfect.

“Princess, you look stunning.” He kisses the back of your hand, “But, princess, why choose this outfit?”

“Ginsei, you are my prince charming.”

His cheeks turn red but he smiles widely, “I am honored to be your prince charming. I l-love you, my princess.”

Gui

Gui is confused when you hand him his ninja costume.

“Ninja?” He blinks.

“Gui, you would be a great ninja. A badass ninja that can do parkour.”

He still doesn’t understand but willingly wears his costume.

“Wow, you look better than I imagined.”

“Are you happy seeing me wear this?” Gui asked, tilting his head a bit.

“Yes!”

“Then I am happy.” He gave an innocent, child-like smile.

Yoshino

You couldn’t decide which costume to pick out until you saw a poster of Mickey and Minnie. ‘Perfect.’

Yoshino stares at the costume with wide eyes and mouth open, his face matching the color of your costume.

“Uh, I...”

“Yoshino, please! You will look great as Mickey.” You batted your eyes lashes and pouted.

“A-alright.”

Yoshino looked beyond adorable in his outfit. So cute that you were tempted to tease him.

To his dismay, the cast members teased him non-stop at the party.

“Don’t you look adorable.”, “The hell ya wearing?”, “Hey Mickey, your face matches Minnie’s dress.”, “Your height is perfect for the costume.”

Yoshino went through a lot that night but he didn’t mind because your happiness mattered to him more than anything.

Team W

Kokuyou

Kokuyou smirks after seeing his costume, “Big Bad Wolf?”

“Suits you perfectly.”

“Is that so?” He chuckles and gets dressed.

“Oh, Kokuyou what big arms you have.” You place your hands on your cheeks, acting surprised, “Oh, Kokuyou what big eyes you have.”

Kokuyou chuckles and steps close to you, looking you straight in the eyes, “Hey, Red Riding Hood, this Big Bad Wolf is hungry.”

“What do you want to eat?”

He steps closer to you with an alluring smile, “You.”

Akira

Akira is excited to see his pirate costume, “Reminds me of my Seaside costume.”

He covers his mouth and shakes his head, “Forget I said anything.”

“Wait, Team W will be pirates in Seaside?”

“You didn’t hear it from me.” He quickly runs to the changing room and gets ready.

“Akira, you look hot.”

“Don’t I always? But princess, you look-,” he scans you up and down, “-sexy.”

“Hey captain, my eyes are up here.” You chuckle and lift his chin up with one finger.

“It’s not my fault that you look smokin’.”

Sin

Sin wasn’t expecting you to pick out a Batman costume for him, but he didn’t complain.

“Sin, please say “I am Batman” in a deep voice.” You giggle and clasp your hand together, waiting to hear your superhero sounding like the Gotham Knight.

He clears his throat and copies the cape crusader, “I am Batman.”

“Hm...brooding man, mature, rarely smiles, serious...? Sin! They should cast you as the next Batman.” You laugh.

While you’re laughing, Sin takes the liberty to study your outfit.

Though he won’t say it out loud, Sin is glad that you chose this costume. How else would he get to see you in a tight spandex jumpsuit.

Taiga

Taiga wasn’t ecstatic to dress up and go to the party. He wanted to spend the night playing video games, but he couldn’t say no to you.

“So what am I dress up as?” He asks in a dreary tone.

“Here.” You hand him the costume and wait patiently for his reaction.

“This is? Master Chief?” Taiga’s eyes sparkle with excitement, “This is...perfect!”

He throws his arms around you, “Thank you! I will be right back.”

You laugh and get ready. ‘He’s so cute.’

“How do I lo-” Taiga stares at you, wordless.

“What’s wrong?”

“You look a-amazing. I think I am in love with you all over again.”

Takami

Most people in Starless think that Takami is shady, so you chose a costume to match that description.

“A gangster?” Takami chuckles, cooly.

“I think you will look really cool as a gangster!”

Takami didn’t mind the costume, especially considering that his daily wear looks quite similar to the gangster outfit. Coincidence? I think not.

When he sees your costume though, he is left breathless.

“My, don’t you look sensuous. I am almost tempted to not go to the party.”

“Why? I worked so hard picking out these costumes.”

Takami chuckles at your cluelessness, “You are adorable.”

Team B

Kongou

“We are a married couple?” Kongou blushes and rubs the back of his neck.

“Yeah! The costume is called “Till Death Do Us Apart”, but I think the costume should be called, “Not Even Death Can Do Us Apart”.” You laugh.

“That’s clever. Excuse me.”

Kongou smiles when he sees you in your costume, “You look beautiful, even as a ghost bride. I wonder what you would look like as a real bride.”

You smile, “We will find out as soon as you propose to me.”

Kongou’s jaw drops as he stares at you with wide eyes.

You giggle at your boyfriend and walk out of the room.

“Soon, love.” Kongou whispers and fishes out a small blue velvet box from his pocket.

Ran

“SO COOL!” Ran is beyond exhilarated to see his costume.

“I knew you would like it! Let’s get ready and put on our makeup.”

You finish your makeup and help Ran apply blood to his face.

“More blood!”

“Ran? Are you sure?”

“Yes! I want it to be scary, so more blood.”

When the two of you arrive at the party, Ran plays a prank and suddenly appears on stage, scaring quite a few of the cast members.

Mizuki runs on stage and kicks Ran. Sinju, Yoshino, Mokuren, and Maica avoids the two of you. Qu compliments your makeup skills.

Though it was fun for the night, Ran got punished the next day for scaring everyone.

You felt bad, but it was worth it.

Mizuki

Mizuki is a fan of the Joker, so he’s thrilled to see his costume.

You help him with his tattoos before changing into your outfit.

Your boyfriend is busy checking out his costume in the mirror, but when he sees your reflection, he nearly falls backwards.

“So, how do I look?”

“Hm..fine, I guess.”

Mizuki’s cheeks are bright red, and he avoids looks at you.

“Only fine?”

“Nah, ya look great.” He grinned.

Mizuki felt an unknown feeling seeing you in Harley Quinn’s outfit. He couldn’t describe the feeling, but for some reason his pants felt tighter.

Heath

After seeing the costume, Heath isn’t sure what to say.

He’s not scared of clown, but he also doesn’t want to dress like one.

“Do you like clowns?”

“Not really, but since Team B likes unusual concepts, I thought IT would be a good choice. Why, you don’t like it?’

“No, no. I will wear it.”

When Heath sees your outfit, he blushes, “Are you sure you want to wear that outfit?”

“Hm? What’s wrong with it?”

“Nothing.” Heath said, averting his eyes.

When the two of you arrive at Starless, many of the cast members are stunned.

Mizuki likes your costume so much that he disappears for a little while and comes back dressed in a jeans, yellow raincoat, and green rainboots.

“Heath?” You tap his shoulder and whisper, “Why did you ask if I’m okay wearing this outfit?”

“Oh...I didn’t want the men here to see you wearing such a short skirt.”

Rico

Rico frowns when he sees his costume.

“Why would you choose a costume that covers my handsome face?”

“It’s your punishment for not helping me pick out our costume.” You handed him his outfit.

Rico begrudgingly gets ready, but he freezes when he sees you in your outfit.

“Little bird, if the grim reaper looks like you, then I wouldn’t mind dying.”

You chuckle, “Is that so?”

At the party, you got a lot of compliments, much to Rico’s dismay.

He wasn’t fond of the cast members being around you but seeing them flock around you, made him angry.

How he wishes his costume had the power of the grim reaper. He would start by using that power on a certain leader.

March 13, 2021: Kwaidan (Review)

How do you review an anthology?

Either I go section by section, or I review it all in one shot. Since it’s all one director and writer, the latter seems appealing, so I probably will go with that...but maybe not for all five sections. Hmm...an idea occurs. I think I’ve got it. But, before I go into that, what did I think of Kwaidan on first recall?

Also, real talk, the above GIF is now one of my favorites, and I WILL be using it in the future.

Kwaidan is an understates masterpiece, and one of the many reasons I’m glad I’m doing this misguided film project of mine. It’s genuinely great, and also a wonderful ghost story in its own right. I don’t get scared easily, and I can’t say that this film particularly frightened me, but I can say that it was an unnerving movie in many instances. As for which segment was my favorite...oof, genuinely a tough question to answer. I love how In A Cup of Tea ends, and The Woman of the Snow is a gorgeous fever dream of a sequence. The Black Hair is EASILY my least favorite, but it’s still a good starting point.

But as for my favorite...

And in truth, I’m not completely sure I can articulate why. It’s close between this and The Woman of the Snow. Tea was a little too short for my tastes (even though I think it had the best ending), and Hair was...well, just fine, like I intonated above. Snow has some amazing visuals, and a great story, which may have been ruined for my by Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, but still was wonderful. But Hoichi...Hoichi was magnificent.

I love Hoichi himself, the opening kabuki theater is amazing in sound and appearance, and the reappearances of the visuals is stunning throughout. All I gotta say is, I loved every single part of this one. And yeah, it’s arguably the only one with a mostly happy ending, all things considered. But I may get more into that in the Review.

Yeah, speaking of that, how are we doing this? Well, some segments will be broken up by...segment, while others won’t be. Depends, you’ll see. So, let’s get to it! Below are listed the four segments, and their recaps. Click on them to read them in full!

The Black Hair (黒髪, Kurokami)

Cast and Acting: 9/10

Breaking this one up! Not a single shared cast member amongst any of the shorts, so this one is broken up by necessity.

Hair (8/10): Sorry to say, but this is arguably the weakest cast in the group. Granted, it’s not that many people, but it’s still not the strongest of these stories. The lead here is Rentarō Mikuni, and he’s fine. My only problem is that it feels like he’s acting. Which, to be fair, is very kabuki theatre. You know, over-exaggerated movements and emotions, all that jazz. But, without the physical trappings of kabuki, it just feels like, well...overacting. Again, not the worst, but not the best. Michiyo Aratama and Misako Watanabe are good as well, but they’re parts aren’t hefty enough for me to properly judge. Well, actually, Aratama is quite good, real talk.

Snow (10/10): Amazing. Keiko Kishi is absolutely enrapturing as the Yuki-onna, and Tatsuya Nakadai ain’t bad as Minokichi either, lemme say. Again, limited cast for this one, but they definitely manage to excel. Seriously, they’re great.

Hoichi (10/10): This one has some of the best, though, both in terms of the kabuki scene, and in the regular scenes. The range of performances here is interesting, considering that you have the overdramatic stylings of kabuki on when end, the gentle nature of Katsuo Nakamura’s Hoichi on the other end, and the actually entertaining comedy relief monks in the middle. Yeah, I never mentioned it, but there are comedy relief monks in this segment, and they’re funny! This one is, all-around, a really strong cast, and the best in the film for sure.

Tea (8/10): This one is strong too, don’t get me wrong. Nakamura Kan'emon is a strong lead, but he’s not...perfect. Nor is Nokobu Nakaya as the ghost of Shibuku Heinai. Even the three samurai are a bit stiff. But in truth, it doesn’t interfere with the short, even a little bit. The 8 out of 10 is how I feel about it, but I genuinely don’t have a problem with it.

Average score’s a 9/10, which feels totally accurate to me. Moving on!

Plot and Writing: 10/10

I was going to break this one up, since they all have different plots. But, first of all, they all have the same writers. And second of all, they’re all...basically perfect? Like, real talk, I love all of these fuckin’ stories, dear Lord. And it’s Japanese folklore, which is basically always great. But OK, let’s break it down. These stories were originally collected for publishing by Lafcadio Hearn, a Greek-Irish man who lived in the United States for a decade, wrote about New Orleans, then moved to Japan and married a Japanese woman, eventually becoming a citizen and spending the rest of his life there as Koizumi Yakumo. Yeah. Dude has a STORY. He collected these stories in multiple books, and these stories were adapted by Yoko Mizuki, a female screenwriter, and one of the most accomplished female Japanese screenwriters ever, with 34 screen credits under her name. And this movie was relatively late in her career, too. Neat, all around. And yeah, these stories are WELL adapted, with the last one as a standout for me. In any case, this one is basically perfect.

Directing and Cinematography: 10/10

Yeah, this one’s perfect, too. I mean, come on, the fuckin’ SHOTS in this movie are fantastic. Director was Masaki Kobayashi, and the cinematographer was Shigeru Wakatsuki, and...yeah, it’s great. I don’t even have to say anything here, just watch the trailer for the movie. If there’s any specific standouts, though, they’d be The Woman in the Snow for Cinematography, and Hoichi the Earless for Direction. Amazing, and those two are the best examples.

Production and Art Design: 9/10

Um...yeah. Of course this one’s high, not even a question. LOOK AT THIS GODDAMN MOVIE. No more needed here, it’s a 10/10, it’s gorgeous all around. Well...OK, maybe it isn’t perfect. And that all basically falls at the feet of The Black Hair. I meant it when I said that this was the weakest short. Because...yeah, it is. From the initial old-age make-up, to the weirdly plain kimonos worn by an extremely wealthy woman who should be able to afford more ornately patterned kimonos, this one was...weaker, atmospherically. Still great, mind you...but weaker. So, OK, maybe not perfect, but still good.

Music and Editing: 8/10

And the music by Toru Takemitsu is definitely memorable as well...but is the editing perfect? Eh. Not really. Sorry, Hisashi Sagara, I know you’re working with 1965 technology here, but it’s not...perfect. There was some work needed throughout each short, to be honest, but it was still all pretty solid. Music really holds up this category, though.

OK, Japanese spirits, you’ve got a 92%! Don’t haunt me.

I really want to go to Japan, by the way. Like, I’ve always been interested, and I never would’ve turned down a trip there, but I REALLY want to go to Japan one day. I’d love to visit a temple or a shrine (respectfully, of course), I’d love to experience the people and the atmosphere...I just think it’d be very cool, to be honest with you. And movies like this have only heightened that desire.

Man, I loved this one! What comes next in the pattern? Right, surrealist films written by well-known and influential directors! Cool, I’m pumped! Let’s jump right into it! What could go wrong?

Romantic / Fluffy Sentence

@kazetsukinu whispered: "Take my hand."

Boy blinked at his roommate’s request, his brown eyes studied Mizuki’s extended hand in his direction and then back on to his face. Kohaku gulped, silently damning those gorgeous eyes for staring at him like that... And before he knew it, his hand had reached and his fingers tangled with those of the other boy’s.

He felt Mizuki pulling him towards him and his face instantly flushed a bright red color, for a moment his eyes didn’t look at him ❛ Ah...we are so close... ❜ he wanted to slap himself in that moment, why was he acting like this? It wasn’t the first time they had been close and yet...

Thump ~ thump

Was this his heart or Mizuki’s? The two moved towards the balcony of the house, it was such a beautiful night.

Look up

And he did. So many beautiful stars painted the nocturnal sky, tiny dots oh so far away and yet providing them a stunning view. Then it was there...the moon, so regal and high in the sky, illuminating them with all its splendor.

It was beautiful just like him...

Did he even have the right to feel this way for someone as amazing as Mizuki? He was so special, so delicate, so...stunning...and he was just..well he was just Kohaku, there was nothing really special about him...

AiParade episode 29 rewrite

Episode 29- Twinkling Trio

We’re back at the Moonlight Office as WM and Magic Blood. Mizuki isn’t eating and the other girls stop to ask her why. Her eyes seem distant as the plate sits full of food. “Mizuki, is something wrong?” Mikuru asks. She places her hand on Mizuki’s who snaps as she smiles.”

“I know what’s been missing. A relic of forgotten time.” Mizuki walks out and says she won’t be back for a while. The other girls look shocked as Kaede shoves Mizuki’s food onto her plate. The opening plays (Twilight Etranger)

We cut to a large farm where the 4Star girls are doing community service as part of their idol work involves giving back. Anna is playing guitar to motivate them but a few students find it distracting. Dave(Wind Dance teacher) is also doing an unnecessary cheer as Hotaru helps the girls plant flowers. We see Laura kick a shovel’s head into the ground. Yume and Koharu bring her some dirt and overall everyone is a little dirty. Yuzu shows up in an excavator to everyone’s horror.

“Yuzu! That won’t be necessary.” Dave shouts. She continues to drive it until Lily uses a capture net to get her out. With the crisis averted we watch Mizuki arrive with her signature moon aura trailing behind her. A few of the girls are embarrassed to have her see them like this and hide away. Tsubasa scolds them and says an idol who cares too much about how she’s perceived will never make it. It’s revealed that she’s been tilling the ground for a while. Mizuki smiles and shakes Tsubasa’s hands.

“There is nothing more precious than an idol’s sweat.” She grabs a shovel herself and asks to meet the idol with the most stamina. The crash of tiles breaking is heard and we see Mahiru’s shovel cross hers. The two idols lock eyes and Anna picks a suitable pile of earth for them to move. A few students are stunned. “Mizuki’s going to work in the dirt?”

“What’s she doing here?”

“Is this really Aikatsu?”

The two girls get to work and within seconds the dirt is moved entirely. Mahiru turns to demand a second round but Mizuki stops her. “Come with me.” She says as she extends her hand. Mahiru says she will once the day’s work is done. The work continues in silence. As Mizuki walks off, she takes a look at her muddy hands. “I see, now. I know who’s next.”

Mizuki enters a car with Tsukikage(her manager) and asks her if they could visit another farm. Tsukikage mentions she already knows where they want to go and if so she sHould rest up first. At the Moonlight Office, we see Mizuki asleep in a plain bedroom with a poster of WM on the wall. Her dream involves a flashback to her and Mizuki performing Smiling Suncatcher. Then we see her and Ichigo performing Signalize. The sun is rising and she wakes up. A knock is heard at the door. Mizuki opens it to meet Mahiru I her school tracksuit. “You asked me to come here, didn’t you?”

“Yes,” Mizuki meets Mahiru’s gaze, “Our work is hardly done.”

They arrive in Hokkaido where Nono and Risa are putting on a small show for the locals. Risa is performing Move On Now in her PR. When she spots Mizuki, however, she freezes and fudges the choreography a little. The crowd doesn’t notice but Mizuki frowns as Mahiru exits the car. The show ends with Nono and Risa thanking the crowd for coming.

Mahiru introduces herself to the girls and says she liked the show. Nono nods with gratitude as Risa turns away from Mizuki. Nono and Risa take them to sit on an outside bench next to a lake. Nono speaks up “So what brings you two here?”

“We’d like to spend a day working on your farm.” Mizuki says.

“Wait a minute. I knew we’d be working but you never said we were staying here.” Mahiru interrupts. She glares at Mizuki who is wearing her casual blue dress.

“If we are to make this work, we simply must be prepared for the unexpected. We’d be happy to camp outside Nono.” Mizuki replies.

“I could never. Please come stay with me. Risa and I can both accommodate one of you.”

“Very well, I would prefer to stay with Risa.” Mizuki says. Mahiru slams her hands on the table and stands up.

“Don’t you think you’re going a little too far? Dragging all of us into this with you?”

Mizuki slides her phone toward Mahiru.

“If you would like to leave, then you can call Tsukikage at any time.” Mizuki asks for directions from Nono and they begin to walk off. Mahiru holds her hand to her chest and looks a little sad. She trails behind them at a distance.

At Risa’s house, Mizuki is sleeping on the bed as Risa sleeps on a mattress on the floor. She can’t sleep as she recalls her fumble on stage. The camera pans up to Mizuki and we see that she isn’t asleep either. “Risa, why are you on the mattress?” Risa frowns. “Earlier on stage. That was my song wasn’t it?”

“I’m sorry.”

“No. I saw you at the Starlight Queen Cup. If it’s my approval you want, then you already have it.”

“Mizuki…I’m still not sure of myself as an idol.” Risa stands up with her fists balled. “But that’s a journey I’ll have to take myself.” Mizuki smiles in acknowledgement and the two switch. Mizuki sleeps on the mattress happily.

IN Nono’s room, Mahiru and Nono are both laying on mattresses in their living room. They’re watching the Starlight Queen Cup with popcorn. Mahiru watches as Nono’s version of Lucky Train plays. “Why do you think she chose us Nono?”

“I’m not sure. To you it might not look it but Mizuki’s a pretty big name even here.”

“Well, regardless…I want to see what will happen.” The power goes out and Mahiru gasps knocking over the popcorn. With the TV off, the girls fall asleep.

The next morning, we see the girls giving it their all on the farm as they help out the locals. Mizuki’s phone sits uncharged in Nono’s house. At the end of the day, Risa’s parents invite them over to thank them. They all indulge in the meal as the moon rises. Tsukikage shows up to take them to the Moonlight office. “Girls, I’m glad we were able to work hard together. However, there is much more to be done.” Risa smiles as she nudges Nono and Mahiru forward. “The two of you will form a unit with me, won’t you?”

“Of course, Mizuki!” Nono says as she rubs her sore arms.

“Alright then,” Mahiru replies.

“Very well. Together we are Twinkle!” She takes their hands, “For each drop of sweat we shed twinkles like the stars. Now, we simply must prepare for a show soon.”

A week later, we spot the main characters sitting in an auditorium. They say their catchphrases as the spotlights turn on. The auditorium falls silent as all eyes turn to the stage. Mizuki sings the first line of Summer Coloured Butterfly as she descends on a crescent moon in the Exotic Lake Coord. Mahiru appears from the left in the Exotic Forest Coord singing the next line and Nono, in the Exotic Sunset Coord. They lights all turn on as the girls begin to dance. As the song continues, Raki starts to sketch away when suddenly, the trio performs Triple Sexy Fllash once the chorus starts. Yozora is near the front and tilts her head, “Isn’t that a little early?”

The crowd is going wild from seeing the appeal as Aine and Mio stand nervously. Mio turns to Aine as they recall their Diamond Friends cup. As the second verse kicks in.

“Aine! It’s just like then. The show is longer than usual.” Aine panics and holds Mio’s hand. “What’s going to happen?”

Yume and Akari are also stunned as they notice that Twinkle’s performance isn’t over yet. Then as the second chorus happens and the trio uses Star Sexy Charm. The second appeal gets the crowd even wilder with the cheers alone overshadowing everything but the performance. Ichigo gets a stern expression on her face. “I’ve done this before. She’s brought it back. Mizuki wants us all to get on this level.”

As the bridge goes on, we see Nono is sweating but she’s smiling at the rest. We get cuts to them training until the singing cuts back in. Triangle Twinkle Light! The third appeal has some parts of the crowd begin to sing along as they move along with the music. Mikuru’s hand is seen trembling as she wonders how Mizuki got the rest to learn three appeals in a week. Raki’s sketchbook is hanging limply in her hand as she’s unable to turn away. The show finally ends as the auditorium is flooded with cheer. In seats above the rest, the principals sit amazed by what happened. Even Elza seems set off as Twinkle stands on stage, seemingly fine after the exhausting performance. The episode ends with an end screen saying A New Age of Aikatsu

Note 2: im sorry if I missed an error or anything alike its almost 3:00 am. Ive never reslly writen a story for my ocs either so this is a first!

Mizuki’s pale yellow eyes danced across the page resting on her lap, A soft frown flashed across her features as she turned to her eldest brother. “Hiro? Where did you get this?” Her tone was that of bewilderment and disbelief.

Hiroki’s shoulders tensed for a seconds as their other siblings drew closer. “A talking crow said Shikaha sent it to us.” His voice was laid out in an annoyed tone yet there was a hint of excitement and amazement in his eyes that would have been had to spot, much less interpret, by a stranger.

Mizuki smiled, remembering the time when her family was alive and unified. Making up her mind, she faced her squad of protective men, and let out a bright and competitive smile. “Im going to become a demon slayer!” She announced.

All three of her brothers were taken aback by her sudden statement.

Hiroki was the first to speak. “Im not letting that happen.” He growled quietly at the thought of HIS one and only SISTER coming into contact with the same horrendous creatures that had already wrecked enough havoc in their family.

Arashi, the second eldest brother, sighed. I cant believe im on the same boat as him for once. He flashed her an apologetic look and took her hand in his as he could sense the drop in Misuki’s mood. “Im going to have to agree with Hiroki on this one.” His deep voice was soothing yet did not lack concern for his younger sisters wellbeing. Arashi gently squeezed her hand in his own, looking at her sympathetically. “You understand why, correct?”

Mizuki nodded, she looked away from her brothers eyes while her own watered as distant yet painful memories flowed through her mind. Im sorry I should have been stronger or at least smarter. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden comforting touch of her twin brother, Kiyoshi, his hand was gently stroking her soft duo colored locks.

Arashi looked towards Hiroki with pure terror in his eyes, he sensed the mischief behind Kiyoshi’s actions.

“Am I the only one with enough of a heart to let my little sister follow her dreams? Oh don’t tell me you guys are scared? Which person in their right mind would let their siblings biggest dream burn to ashes?” He would have kept going had Arashi not sent a murderous glare (that could kill thousands oppon thousand of people) his way.

Misuki was not fazed by their behavior, she understood it and didn’t really mind, she was sometimes a little too patient and understanding.

Kiyoshi stood there stiffly, bracing for impact, he shrunk down slightly as Arashi smacked his head just gently enough to stun him.

The long haired boy (Arashi) cleared his throat. “Well then it’s settled were all becoming daemon slayers.”

Hiroki gaped at them with a ‘thats-not-fair’ look taking over his features. “I never agreed to this!” He exclaimed with wide eyes and flailing arms, in response a small knowing smile replaced Arashis usually serious expression.

“This is what you were planning all along wasn’t it? I just simply went along with it because we need to prepare.”

Mizuki looked at her older brother, sparkles of anticipation filling her eyes as she awaited Arashi’s following words.

Kiyoshi, still stunned slightly, looked over at Arashi with a dumbfounded look on his face.

Hiroki looked down at Kiyoshi’s expression, his own shifting into a disappointed one but quickly fading away before he looked back at Arashi.

Arashi watched Hiroki give kiyoshi a disappointed look, unbeknownst to him, he was giving away his momentary amused state. “The final selection is coming up in a week and a half. We will need food and water that will last us the journey and at least a day or two during the selection. We have the training and information...” Arashi continued to list off the different tasks and assigned them to the person who could do them the quickest and most efficiently.

This was longer than expected and will probably be re-written at some point! Im honestly just a tiny tiny bit proud of it. (Yes I will post the profiles once I make a format.)

Im really nervous about posting this so thats why im posting at 3 am. Im especially nervous about grammar/punctation/spelling because I have dyslexia so that make it hard (coupled with the fact that im just generally bad at those three things im Bound to make more than a few mistakes. (Im also just terrible at parentheses and don’t know what to do with things sometimes someone please teach me :( ) once again im sorry this is so badddd!

Top Ten Favourite Female Seiyuu

My first one didn’t do a whole lot of justice, so I decided to have another go at it! Here we go! Time to edit this up!

I notice that I didn’t include as many female seiyuu in my honourable mentions, but that’s because I had an easier time choosing here! I kind of knew what voices I liked from the beginning. I also don’t like the really high pitched annoying characters sometimes (with exceptions), so that was taken into consideration.

Some honourable mentions that I didn’t get the chance to mention were: Yuu Kobayashi, Ami Koshimizu, Chiwa Saito, Marina Inoue, Mai Nakahara, and Mamiko Noto. I love their voices and their roles, but I haven’t watched a whole lot of them either in anime or singing. I also seem to remember seiyuu more from their characters, and it’s a real shame that there aren’t as many female anime characters that are as well developed as their male counterparts which is why I don’t remember their characters as often. But most of it is just because I haven’t watched their major work yet.

Honourable Mentions:

Sakura Ayane

I just wanted to give a shout out to her because her performance of Uraraka is amazing, and she really nails her positive personality. She plays a range of other characters (sadly I haven’t watched most of them). I’ve been impressed by her other characters as well. Niwatori in Juuni Taisen has such an innocent personality at first, and even though it wasn’t a very good anime, she gave this character a lot of life despite being a character with only one episode of development. Haru in Nisekoi was the annoying little sister nobody wanted, but I’m proud of the fact that she makes me hate some characters that she plays because I think that’s the point most of the time. Suzuka from Tokyo Ravens is another example of this. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have range though. Her role as Ryouko in Tsurezure Children surprised me. Aoi Yuuki

Range. Just range. I can’t tell it’s her ever. Just never. I originally knew her for voicing Tsuyu from My Hero Academia, but after searching her up, I realized her range. Even though I didn’t watch most of the anime she has done, just clips of it can give you the biggest shock of a lifetime. I didn’t realize she was Kayo from Erased, Madoka from Madoka Magica, Tatsumaki from One Punch Man, Diane from The Seven Deadly Sins, and Lulu in League of Legends. She apparently also games. Aya Hirano

Okay, so maybe she has fallen off the grid for a bit, but the reason for some people now hating her is really stupid. I won’t get into it, but people are allowed to have lives outside of their work. Who would’ve known? Besides that, she is a talented singer who I know for voicing Lucy from Fairy Tail and Haruhi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. She is also known for her role as Konata in Lucky Star and Misa in Death Note. 10. Maaya Uchida

This is slightly bias because she did just such a good job playing Hiyori. I love her voice and can’t imagine anyone else playing one of my favourite characters. With that being said, I think the best role I’ve seen from her, but she has done a ton of other roles too. Takanashi Rikka from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! is another role that stands out to me. She truly makes me want to believe alongside her with her “eighth-grade syndrome”. Alluka from Hunter x Hunter is a role I didn’t expect, but I thought for the few clips I watched it was amazing and bone-chilling. 9. Mizuki Nana

Wow. I have a hard time recognizing her too, but maybe that’s because of her incredible range. On top of being a singer, she’s a tremendously talented voice actor. I know her as the soft-toned Hinata, but she has so many other roles. I haven’t watched a lot of her more prominent roles, but I have watched her as Hakuei Ren in Magi, Lan Fan in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Kisaki in WWW.Working! She has several other roles that I haven’t watched. The reason she has been placed this high on this list is that of the range I’ve seen in her performance and that craziness of her voice. 8. Romi Park

Yes. Her range is amazing. Edward Elric was given a voice by her. She is relatable, and she’s bilingual (and possibly trilingual) too! She speaks Korean and she has studied English! I haven’t watched a lot of shows with her in it (or at least completely), but here are a few roles that you might know her from. Ganta from Deadman Wonderland, Toshirou from Bleach, Temari from Naruto, Akane from Danganronpa, Switzerland from Hetalia, Angelina from Black Butler, Hange from Attack on Titan, and so many other roles! She’s really good at singing too! She’s so talented! Side note: She often represents Arakawa Hiromu (the mangaka of Fullmetal Alchemist), and I didn’t notice until now. Wow. 7. Tomatsu Haruka

Weirdly, sometimes I have a hard time recognizing her voice. She has voiced such a large range of characters. She was one of the characters who gave me feels in Anohana where she played Anaru. I had so much fun watching a clip of Gintama’s genderbend where she played a female Gintoki. She was an independent protagonist in a shoujo as Shizuku in Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and the Miyakoshi horrible cook who kills in WWW.Working. Other people might know her as Asuna from SAO, Megumi from Accel World, Shiro from Tokyo Ghoul, Ichika from Waiting in Summer, Rena in ReLife, Megumi from Shiki, and now you might know her as Zero Two in Darling in Franxx. But my favourite role from her is definitely Morgiana from Magi. She was such a badass, and I loved every minute with her on screen. She has so many other roles, and she sings really well too. 6. Kana Hanazawa

She has done so many characters and is really popular. I love a lot of her roles, but this list is full of only the best of the best, so number 6 isn’t that bad! I love a good number of the characters she does too. She made me absolutely despise her in Akame Ga Kill as Seryuu. She was great as Shiemi from Blue Exorcist and broke my heart a little as Kanade from Angel Beats. I loved her little side roles as Lucy from Bungou Stray Dogs and as Kougyoku Ren from Magi. Sonohara from Durarara, Natsume from Tokyo Ravens, Chiaki from Danganronpa, and Onodera from Nisekoi are just a few other roles I’ve watched from her. 5. Sora Amamiya

She voices so many cool characters! Her portrayal of Akame was awesome. I was in it since then. But like all these other actors: range. I mean, Aqua from Konosuba is a character I despise, but she plays her brilliantly and makes me hate her so much. Other characters I’ve watched her play are Elise from Bungou Stray Dogs, Natsuki in Anthem of the Heart, Elizabeth in The Seven Deadly Sins, Touka in Tokyo Ghoul, and Shiho in WWW.Working. She has a lot of other roles too! 4. Saori Hayami

She’s so cool. I’ve seen her play Chiriko from Anohana, Himawari from Boruto, Sharyuu from Juuni Taisen, and Emi from Your Lie In April. One of her most outstanding role for me was Shirayuki. I wouldn’t have it any other way because she gives her such a feeling of elegance, humility, and innocence. But one of the best roles I’ve seen from her is as Shouko from A Silent Voice. That movie shocked me and left me absolutely stunned. Her portrayal was timeless, moving, and amazing. I was hit in the feels, and her performance along with Miyu Irino will probably stay with me forever. She sings some good OPs, but she can also scream at the top of her lungs and play some insane characters. Just look at Kakegurui. I have only seen a couple of scenes from that anime, but there are so many other roles that I want to see from her! 3. Rie Kugimiya

Okay wow. She’s amazing. Alphonse Elric has such a childish and innocent personality that was aided by her voice. She gave Taiga the perfect tsundere voice. She gives Kagura life and energy with her high-pitched voice. Those are my top three roles from her. Nobody else would ever be able to top those. Nora from Noragami is a character that I love to hate. I really want to watch her as Shana in Shakugan no Shana and as Juuzo from Tokyo Ghoul, and even though she doesn’t have as many roles that I want to catch up on, she plays three anime characters that I love. Her voice is the only one I hear when I see those three characters, and I would love to see her in other works as well. 2. Maaya Sakamoto

Holy moly her singing voice is really good. Her relationship with Kenichi Suzumura is so sweet, and I wouldn’t have found out about him if it wasn’t for her. She can play little girls, boys, and wonderfully beautiful well-developed androgynous characters. Her role in Kara no Kyoukai as Shiki sends chills down my spine. It almost distracted from the fact that I had no clue about the timeline. She portrayed the craziest Crona in Soul Eater was absolutely insane. Scherezade from Magi was another role I’ve seen from her. Nino from Arakawa Under the Bridge was so quirky and wonderful, and I loved her weirdness. Haruhi was another role from her that I absolutely loved. She was calm, talented, and played a nice protagonist that I liked compared to the rest of the main cast. But I have so much catching up to do on her other roles because she has so many! Motoko from Ghost in a Shell, Falangies from Arslan Senki, Shinobu in the Monogatari series, Ciel in Black Butler, Merlin in the Seven Deadly Sins, and Eto and Sen from Tokyo Ghoul. She is such a badass because she plays a lot of cool characters. 1. Miyuki Sawashiro

She is honestly such a nice person. I watched a segment with her and her brother. She sounds like an awesome older sister. She plays so many badass women. Bishamon is honestly such a caring badass goddess who takes in people because she wants to care for them. She is a respectable goddess who is one of my favourite Noragami characters. Celty is a mysterious biker who is also a badass. Even though she barely speaks literally in Durarara, Miyuki reads her texts perfectly. The quest to find what she has been missing is one of my favourite sides of the story. Seo from Gekkan Shoujo is an inspiration who I love to this day. She’s one of my favourite characters, and I always rewatch her scenes. I have also seen her as Kusaribe in Zetsuen no Tempest (which I didn’t really like), Isasawa in Angel Beats, Touko in Danganronpa, Ul and Ultear in Fairy Tail, and Ayane in Kimi ni Todoke. I want to watch a lot more anime with her in the future including Shion in Psychopass, Sugura in the Monogatari series, Toto Sakigami in Deadman Wonderland, Seri in K, Shane in Charlotte, Kira in Btooom, Leona in Yamada, Himeko in Kokoro Connect, Kana in Kiseijuu, and Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter. I love her voice and her singing. She apparently knows how to play the piano too. I can’t even express in words how much respect I have for her. Recording the DAYS character songs

Tsukushi: Super nervous because he literally only sings in the shower and everyone's so much better at him and what if he messes up? But he's gonna try his best and starts out shy but puts his whole heart and soul into singing and by the end everyone's very proud of him and Kazama's even more in love than before.

Kazama: Literally just has a blast singing. Goofs around for several recordings for kicks and to get Tsukushi to relax, then suddenly goes all out and amazes everyone (cue Tsukushi fanboying). Also #1 Tsukushi supporter and super proud of him when he delivers that amazing recording of his song even though he’s never sung in public before.

Mizuki: Has trouble memorizing the lyrics before the recording, then starts singing and amazes everyone because what the hell. How is this guy such a great singer, nobody told them? When asked how he does it, answers in sound effects, but even Kimishita can’t yell at him because he’s so awed by his beautiful voice.

Kimishita: Originally unwilling to sing anything, that’s embarrassing, what the hell. Determined to do his best anyway because that’s who he is. Ends up surprising everyone because holy smokes, he’s every bit as amazing as Mizuki? Also the babysitter making sure the others are taking this seriously and singing properly.

Ooshiba: Jealous of the way Kimishita looked at Mizuki singing and tries to show off. Starts singing properly once Kimishita hits him though and ends up doing a pretty good job. What he doesn’t know is that Kimishita smiles when he starts trying. Also very stunned by Kimishita’s singing and head over heels for the song and secretly listens to it over and over again.

As my Euro-trip comes to a conclusion, I can’t help but feel a surge of mixed emotions.

When I was a little kid, I never would have imagined that I would be going around the world, visiting places that most people dream of. Yet, here I am sitting at one of the best airports I’ve been to; waiting for my flight back to the Netherlands.

As I sit here in the airport lounge, sipping my cappuccino, peering outside the glass walls of this human ingenuity of a building, I can’t help but think of the past amazing weeks I’ve had. As a matter of fact, I am still pinching myself, making sure all this was and is real. This just translates how ethereal the destinations I have visited are. It was all too much but at the same time, never enough.

Walking the streets of Paris on a cool sunny day left me stunned. Not to mention I met one of the Irish Actors I adore, Sir Andrew Scott — So, quite literally and figuratively, Paris took my breath away.

The elegance and details of the architecture showed how artistic and sophisticated the French people are. And let’s not forget about the famous tourist attractions the city has to offer – being able to witness it first hand is just magnifique (insert my very baroque French accent, pardon me haha!)

But what got to me the most are the artists I saw while strolling around the City of Lights. I mean, picture this — a John Legend song being played quite beautifully by a talented dude enjoyed by almost everyone around him near the exquisite Eiffel Tower — or this guy who played a classical music with his violin, excellently; inside a tunnel of some sort, making the sound so much richer and much more haunting.

I can still remember the first time I saw this place; it was in a movie. Lizzy Mcguire the movie. (Yes, I’m a Disney Kid too! haha)

The way the Italians make their food for me, is both an intricate form of art and love. Aside from the Gnocchi, I had. Everything else was great! Maybe that potato based dish is just not for me. (My apologies, Italian friends)

Also, growing up as a catholic and being enrolled in a school run by nuns, for over a decade, I think it’s fair to say that I’ve always wondered what the Vatican City was like. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go inside St. Peter’s, but nevertheless, the century old Basilicas and Churches around the area are more than enough.

Then there is Berlin. A hub of for creativity filled with history and culture. It’s scarred past is still imminent around the city and it showed vulnerability and strength at the same time. I think this is the reason why there’s a melancholic mood and eerie feel in some parts of the city and I think that’s beautiful. Because I believe that learning from their past is what made this city great again. Just like in life – you learn to move on and be better but you never forget who you are and what you’ve been through.

And this is where I first experience the calming joy a Christmas Market brings. There’s just so much familiarity – Filipinos are known for celebrating the longest Christmas season in the world. Thus, these kind of places, give me so much feels. Especially that I’m living far from home too. The lingering smell of hot chocolate and various pastries in the air, the towering well-lit and sometimes over decorated Christmas trees, the songs you hear being played in the background, and the infectious smile people has around you. You’ll definitely feel that ’tis is the season to be jolly!
