My very favorite thing about Mason Verger is that the first thing he says, upon waking up after getting skin sewn back onto his face, is: "Good as new."

I thought, the first time through S3, that he wanted to steal Will's face out of some kind of vanity, but no! He doesn't care! Even in his brief little dream sequences where he's walking around again, he keeps the replacement skin.

He wants to take off Will's face literally just because he's Like That.

not for nothing that roger and jeff are wearing completely identical suits for vicki's wedding down to the same pearl stick pin and it's roger that is distinguished with the accessory and the visual emphasis. that roger wears the pocket square and jeff goes plain without one, without a boutonnière (as feels the most probable and appropriate; they both wear boutonnières in roger's prophetic dream of the wedding). that not only is he wearing the handkerchief, but it's folded in such a way as so take as much space as possible – straying from accepted formality of a neat TV fold, occupying more room on the screen, drawing more attention, pointing among other things to his heart in bright white.

400 icons later I'm finally done adding the tiny adjustments I settled for! In all honesty, doing this is exhausting as hecky but I'm also really happy because I've been wanting to do something like this for Dain for a very long time to no avail. But at the same time it's highly rewarding to me because graphic design is a passion of mine that I include as part of the RP experience and it's really invigorating to have a newfound inspiration that I lacked a while ago. The change in his icons isn't that big, but I'm still one to keep things somehow simple as to not distract from the main point of focus which should be him.

#i've been in a manic state for over a month #haven't slept in my own bed for 30 days #was barely eating/sleeping the first half and now i'm eating/sleeping too much #i was even off twitter for two weeks which is so hilariously unlike me #said i was taking a gif hiatus because my brain was so unhealthy #then turned around and started making/posting MASS amounts of gifsets (published and drafted) for very little payoff #like. More often than i usually do to the point where i feel like it's overwhelming or annoying or looks desperate but hey maybe i am #for the serotonin #except nobody reblogs shit which. Well you know how that goes #it is what it is but it's also making me feel so so so low #but i can't stop either because it's the only thing keeping my brain off of everything #i also recorded that voiceover video of my gif process but i don't think i'm gonna post it because i hate my voice and my overall Being rn #and publishing something like that would be inviting literally anyone to have a negative thought or opinion of my voice or my personality #which is a big No Thank You atm #even tho i have nice followers i also have total dickwads waiting to jump me lately for the stupidest shit lol #so the timing is just bad bc everything else is bad my mental health is bad my self esteem is bad #my gifs and the engagement on them is pretty bad without me reblogging them 50 times myself but we ball #it's all just!!!! it all feels Bad i just want to feel sane lol
