TIME FOR A WIP TAG GAME đŸ’«
rules: in a new post, post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them and then post a little snippet of it or tell them something about it! and then tag as many people as you have WIPs.
oh nooo exposed by smitty for my ridiculous doc names.. how could you DO this to meee 😭 dfghs but thanks for the tag darlin @prompted-wordsmith.!!
(tagged on my main but i thought i'd go ahead and post here instead... if i posted all of my wips for every fandom, we'd be here a month đŸ€)
my naming conventions are notably all either coded nonsense only comprehensible to me, or song lyrics that are not, in fact, from the song i Actually titled the fic with.! it got so ridiculous i made a spreadsheet to keep track of their shorthand names, their Real Actual Titles, and their summaries. just so i could always find right what i was looking for. i love to cross-reference ! three cheers for color-coding ! 🎉 luckily for me, said doc came in veryyy handy when it came to copy/pasting for this tag game 😂😂

Some Olrox Analysis & Headcanons
Tumblr media
Have you seen this man? Now you have! đŸ„°
I have a lot of thoughts about Olrox Castlevania Nocturne and I'm dumping them here.
DISCLAIMER: We know so little about Olrox's past and I am but a humble stan looking at an expressionist painting and projecting my own deranged nonsense onto it. I'm fully prepared for 90% of this to get jossed in season 2, but for now I'm just letting the worms in my brain wiggle and send me beautiful visions of what could be đŸ„č
1. Olrox Was a Commoner and Does Not Respect Hierarchies
Tumblr media
I've seen people point to his manner of speech and dress as evidence that he must come from a privileged background, but I think he displays too much contempt for the wealthy/nobility to have been one himself. I think these things are just symbols of power he has learned to use to his advantage.
Of course, there's everyone's favorite quote: "I prefer my blood blue." But he also demonstrates virtually no respect for authority or symbols/institutions of power in general:
He refuses the escort sent by the marquis when he arrives in France and insists on staying at the inn because he likes to "keep his ear to the ground". He would rather be around 'the people' than accept anything from the wealthy.
When Drolta is reminiscing about her glory days as a priestess, there's really not any nostalgia or sentimentality when he interrupts and says "and now those temples are half-buried in dust."
For as good as he is at presenting himself as a Gentleman of Status, he cannot bring himself to even pretend to enjoy himself at Erzsebet's lil debutante ball at the chateau.
When Erzsebet insists she is a goddess, his response is "Of course you are, sweetie 🙂"
His whole speech to Mizrak in the morning-after scene is basically a deconstruction of what power means, and how it is only a perceived vs tangible thing, a temporary position vs an immutable one:
"There are petty demon princelings you can haggle with and cheat. There are demon charlatans whose faces you can laugh in, spit in. There are demons who once were gods... And those who still are."
Foucault? In MY anime adaptation of a vampire video game?? It's more likely than u think đŸ€”
(continued under the cut bc this got long as hell)
2. Olrox was an Adult when Cortés Arrived
Tumblr media
(I don't have a relevant screenshot for this point, so here's Olrox being pretty for no reason)
I've seen it float around some places that if we adhere to historical timelines to a 'T', it would make most sense for him to have been a child, but I'm of the opinion that it's more useful to take what the text itself gives us and fill the gaps with bits and pieces of the actual history where it's convenient. At the end of the day, this is a work of fiction/fantasy. So what does the text tell us?
He lived a long time as human and vampire
As of 1783, he'd been a vampire for approximately 250 years
Now, if we want to take this 250 figure literally, that would put the year of his turning at 1533. But I think we can give ourselves +/-15 years leeway because 250 is just the kind of rounded, even number one would use in natural speech in place of "267" or some shit like that. It's just how believable dialogue is written. So what lies in this +/-15 year window? The invasion by the Spanish, 1519-1521.
Now, he tells Mizrak: "Long ago, when I was still human, I watched men wade ashore from ships..."
I think this is another case of how important dialogue is. Because if he was a boy at the time, this line would likely have been written as "Long ago, when I was just a boy..." or something like "One of my earliest memories is of..." instead. "Still human" implies not only was he a human, but that he had been human for quite some time already. That the events he's describing fall in the stretch of time leading up to "still human" no longer being true.
tl;dr: the Spanish arrival and him becoming a vampire happened within a few years of each other, and if turned vampires stop aging, then he would have had to have been an adult at the time.
3. Olrox Became A Vampire Willingly
Tumblr media
I assume that vampirism is something that was introduced to the Mexica by the Spanish in the same way it was introduced to Haiti by the French, in Annette's case.
However, rather than vampires creating spawn left and right, the persistent lore (in the show at least) is that to be turned is to be accepted into the sort of elite in-group of vampire society. (Carmilla questioning why Lisa was never turned, the Count never turning slaves, etc). Vampires feed on humans, they don't view them as potential spawn to have in thrall or whatever.
The Spanish weren't going around giving natives The Bite, because vampirism is power. So what I think, is that Olrox recognized that power, and decided to take it for himself. Rather than being the passive 'recipient' of the 'gift' of vampirism, he pried it from some Spanish vampire's cold, undead hands. (i.e., he drank their blood)
Do I have any proof of this? No. It's just what the worms in my brain are telling me đŸ€· But!!
Do I think it would be a sexy little inversion of the way Erzsebet drank a god's blood to obtain her power? Yes.
Do I think it would be thematically very appropriate for a morally grey character who seems to have a very... Interesting relationship with power (individual power vs institutional powers, the subverting of power, the weaponization of symbols of power, etc)?? Oh absolutely fuck yes!!1!
[sickos.jpg]
4. Olrox Was a Priest, But Not Like That.
Tumblr media
Priesthood in the Mexica empire was largely dominated by the nobility, whose children would be sent to the calmecec to learn how to read and write, speak the noble dialect, perform rituals, etc. But if the circumstances were right, the children of commoners could also get in!
Olrox says he's never been much of a believer, but he's highly intelligent and incredibly good at reading people. Even if he was never a man of faith, the priesthood was still a powerful institution where one could climb the ranks and earn influence over the nobility. No doubt someone as sharp and charismatic as Olrox would be able to take advantage of the opportunity to get a good education and maybe try to undermine the system from within/play a bit of political games while he was at it.
Also... Olrox's weapon of choice is the dagger. Obviously a dagger is an appropriate weapon for a character who's kind of rogue-ish, but also consider: Aztec warriors used a lot of weapons in combat: clubs, spears, arrows, axes—but an obsidian dagger? That's something that would have been used by a priest during rituals.
5. Olrox is a Bitchℱ Who Knows Just What to Say to Get Under People's Skin
Tumblr media
A common myth is that the Mexica welcomed Cortés at first because they thought he was Quetzalcoatl. But this is a misreading of the way Mexica social conventions/the noble dialect worked, which was kinda ~passive aggressive in a way, such that the more loftily and overly politely you spoke with someone, the more you were actually telling them to go eat shit and die. I think Olrox's dialogue demonstrates this beautifully in the scene where he meets Erzsebet:
"Taker of Souls, Vampire Lioness, She Who Mauls, The Messiah of--" / "Yes, charmed to meet you 😒"
"Her magnificence has heard much about you." / "Flattered. For a god to have heard of me. đŸ„±"
"I am a goddess!" / "...Of course 🙂"
His words are receptive, respectful, docile, even... but his tone and delivery are completely the opposite. Compare this with the way he speaks with Richter and (in later interactions) Mizrak—which is more informal, open, confrontational. He's more direct with them because he actually respects them.
As far as reading and getting under people's skin with pinpoint precision, I present the following interactions:
When he catches the marquis' severed head in the catacombs, he reads him (and potentially also Drolta) like a book: "This one? He was just an opportunist, following the messiah because she's powerful. But there are those who love her [looks to Drolta]. So I'm told."
When Drolta gives him a verbal slap on the wrist for feeding on the wealthy, he says "mY Ap0LoGiEs, I didn't realize how invested you are in keeping the mortals happy." - To which Drolta goes on to grumble about how their alliance with some of the mortals disgusts her.
When Erzsebet is waxing poetic about how everyone will see her beauty and worship her, he has the balls to—without missing a beat—say "PaRd0n mEe, but you mean to do this through an alliance with a man who will never worship you? đŸ«ą" right to her fcuuckin face mgod I love him so much (this is the point where she whips out the big guns and yells "I am a goddess!!" while threateningly flashing her orb of darkness btw. Like she did NOT like that)
6. Olrox Has an 'Eye for an Eye' View of Justice
Tumblr media
A prevalent theme in Aztec religion is the idea that like... ain't nothin' in this world for free. Sacrifices to the gods weren't symbolic gestures of devotion, but an act of paying the gods back for providing humanity with the means to survive.
The idea that everything has a price pervades the dialogue he has with Mizrak in the morning-after scene:
"What was the cost? Who pays it? Just him? Or all of you? Will you? Which demon will claim his price when all this is done?"
And it's also present in the very first scene where we are introduced to Olrox:
"You see, your mama took someone from me I loved, just as much as you loved her. So, she had to die."
What's interesting about this scene is also how... calm he is the whole time—before the fight, after the fight. Yes, he's motivated by the murder of the man he loved, but he brings zero of that passion to this confrontation. It's just an execution, something inevitable that must be done.
That he's fine with confronting a terrified Richter immediately afterwards to explain what just happened (and is completely unapologetic about it) is also telling. It suggests that Olrox views this kind of thing as just 'the way of the world'—a hard truth that Richter will be better off for having learned sooner rather than later.
I think this also helps explain why, years later, Olrox seems to treat Richter with a little more.... Familiarity than we might consider appropriate. He approaches Richter in the catacombs like he's just an old acquaintance, as though Richter should have no reason to be terrified of him. When Drolta mentions the incident later, he seems kind of lightly amused by it. Then, when he drops off the book, he's visibly/audibly frustrated that Richter starts gearing up for a fight. To Olrox, the whole "killed your mom" thing is water under the bridge, nothing personal.
7. Olrox is a Vampire of Prominence in The New World
Tumblr media
Obviously, he has to be kind of a big deal to give a Belmont a run for their money. But let's go deeper into the IMPLICATIONS!!
"In 250 years, do you know how many vampire hunters have promised to slice me in two?"
"Her magnificence has heard much about you."
"You will be her guide into America."
He's enough of a big deal that countless hunters have promised to kill him. Enough of a big deal that Erzsebet has not only heard of him, but sees him as a valuable ally who knows enough about America to guide her as she builds her empire across it.
Olrox wasn't just a powerful vampire who got entangled with the politics of colonial Massachusetts and happened to cross paths with a Belmont. He's presumably had a hand in matters across the continent. Erzsebet refers to the colonists as "American upstarts" but for her, this is a conflict between humans vs vampires. The American colonists aren't allies or even rivals to her—because they're not vampires. They're just more pesky humans to be dealt with. (Also??? 'Protestant Vampires' as a concept is just hilarious to me, I'm so sorry)
So.
What the worms in my brain are telling me is—And this is Big!! This is a Steaming Hot Take!!!
(...seriously, tin foil hat tier headcanon incoming)
Olrox has established a network of indigenous vampires who are resisting the colonial threat. He's been turning them (or at least select individuals who are into it), and thereby redistributing the power he took from the Spanish colonizers to wield against the British colonizers.
(Look I have 0.01% faith in this actually being canon or anything. I just think it would be cool as fuck.)
Anyway.
Thanks for coming 2 my Ted talk or whatever. 😘

life before | anakin s.
anon ask; Hii can you write an anakin one shot about how reader and anakin are talking about there lives before the jedi order and anakin tells the reader about how great his mom was but the reader had an abusive mom and they just can’t relate? it can be fluffy with anakin telling the reader that they turned out so much better than their mom or something like that
Tumblr media
thank you for the requestttt :) i changed it just a tab bit (the mom wasn’t physically abusive) and made it fluffy and angst. i hope you don’t mind! hope u enjoy it - xo đŸ„°
warnings; none really- fluff, angst (lowkey cried but it’s fine) , kissing, cursing, just cute shit lol wc; 1k+
Tumblr media
“She was
 amazing.”
His life before the jedi order sounded damn near wonderful. You couldn't imagine him as a child anyway other than happy.
But your life was the opposite. You had two siblings- an older sister and older brother. Your grandma stayed with you, your parents and older brother (your sister was twenty five and moved out as soon as possible). Now, you loved your family- to death. You would do anything for them; but your mother was a different story.
She didn’t physically hurt you, but she caused many self esteem issues. You couldn’t even walk past her without a negative comment coming for her that hurt like a ton of bricks being dropped on you at once. So, naturally, your bond gravitated to your grandma and older sister. You didn't like to talk about your life before the jedi order, so you just sat and listened to anakin. You didn't mind either. It was nice seeing him so happy. How light his blue eyes got as he reminisced.
So, you continued to sit, with a smile on your face, and listened.
“- oh! And this one time when we.. sorry,” he let out a breathy chuckle, “i'm talking too much. What was life like before the jedi order?”
Your stomach stank at the thought of your life. Not the it was like you lived like a slave, and were abuseded or neglegted. You were just embarrassed. For some reason, you felt like it was your fault- like you could have done something different to make your mom actually care for you how you wanted her too. But it was too late, and that feeling of guilt never went away.
“Oh no- no, no, no it's fine i promise.”
“No really. I've known you for what..two, maybe three years now? And you have never told me about your childhood,” Anakin looked at you with a grin, anticipating for you to give him the details he wanted. The two of you were sitting on his bed in his quarters- leaning against the headboard, but Anakin had shifted to sit in front of you. He shifted your legs that were criss crossed open for him to be closer to you; staring at you with love in his eyes.
Ugh, I don't deserve you.
Anakin's smile faltered. You furrowed your eyebrows as you looked at him with confusion. Then it hit you. Usually your force walls would be up, but you were comfortable with Anakin, so you kept them down when you were with him.
“Why would you say that?,” you could feel his aura- and it was strong. It was filled with sadness and confusion. The same feeling of guilt that you felt for years ran through you as your heart cliched at the sight of anakin's shoulder slumping.
You slowly moved your hands away from his- he had been cradling them loosely. Your fingers started to pick at your nails, your breathing becoming shallow- trying your best to avoid his gaze. The feeling of your heart rate picking up quickly sounded in your ears. You watched anakin's mouth move but you couldn't hear a thing - the only sound was the fast thuds sound in your head. Flashbacks of your mom looking at you in disgust filled your head- and all the sudden.. You were a nine year old kid again. Once you became twelve, you started having flashbacks of the bad part of your childhood; those flashbacks led to panic attacks. Just small ones though. You never told anyone. To this day, you still talk to most of your family, and you still have yet to tell them. But you can't bring yourself to do it.
“Hey
hey.. y/n? Are you okay?” Anakin's voice was filled with panic as he watched your video eyes stare past him as a black wall. He didn't know what to do. He had never seen this happen before.
Anakin's hands flew up to grab the sides of your face. He tried his hardest to get deep inside your mind to figure out what was going on. You continued to stare as Anakin shut his eyes tightly- focusing solely on you. Then he got in.
Only flashes went by. Memories of your mother yelling at you, then you running to your sister and her holding you tightly as you cried. Then another flash went by. You were sitting on your bed- shaking as you stared blankly with tears streaming down your face. Anakin groaned in what seemed to be pain as he watched you. He soon realized that this memory was recent. Just as anakin's force got to weak for him to hold it much longer, he heard you whisper in your memory-
“I'm sorry ani.”
Anakin's eyes snapped open as he watched you take a deep breath. Your breather slowed to normal- you looked down at your hands and noticed how red your fingers were. “Damn it,” you cursed under your breath as the realization sunk in. there's no way you just did this in front of anakin. No fucking way.
He didn't even speak. He didn't say a word. Anakin's arms just wrapped around you tightly while holding you head to his chest. Your fingers instantly went up to his hanging padawan braid and twirled it, trying to take your mind of what happened.
“I'm so sorry ani. Im so fucking sorry for not telling you-”
“No. no please don't be sorry y/n/n. It's ok. I've got you,” Anakin pulled you fully on his chest, lifting your head slightly to connect your lips in a tender kiss. Your lips molded together like puzzle pieces. And everything stopped. Everything that you were worried about just faded into nothing. You felt safe. For the first time in a long time, you realized just how deeply he carried for you. And you felt the same.
Your lips moved in sync with passion. He soon moved his lips from yours and smiled. He didn't need to say anything, cause you knew what he was thinking.
you will never go through that alone again, cause i’m right here with you.

Do you have any headcanons about religious/cultural practices and beliefs in Westeros? How do you think they vary between Dorne, the rest of the South and the North?
I talk to Lilium-convallium (who I know is lurking on this blog 👀 love u darling đŸ„°) talk about this ALL THE TIME. I need to re read the books because I don’t remember a lot of canon detail honestly so this will not be a meta post, just Vibes.
But how I imagine it when I write about it when I write fic is classical mythology in the form of the Catholic Church. Ancient Valyrian has a very traditional and recognizable mythology that is Greek, Roman or its predecessors/contemporaries like Sumerian or even Egyptian etc. like I picture elaborate burial rituals, Parthenon-like structures, etc. I think when the Targaryens invaded there was some marriage between religious beliefs.
I always imagine the literature of the Seven’s religion to take on much more of the mythologized story/poems/hymns of Ancient Greece, with that strange sort of circular and concurrent timeline, rather than the sort of linear arc that Jewish and Christian texts often seem to be (like, I don’t think, first there was Westerosi Adam and Eve, then Cain and Abel, the Noah, then Abraham, then Isaac and Ishmael, etc. or the idea of a House of David that eventually leads to Jesus, etc within Westerosi religion). It’s not a chronicle. There also appears to be no Savior figure, not in the Christian conception of a deity come to Earth. We have Azor Azhai but that is more reminiscent of Arthur—an extraordinary man with magical friends and strength of character rather than a literal God—and has the vagueness of many prophesies that appear in Greek or Roman mythology.
A lot of Southron Westeros is very Italian/Roman to me. The Lannisters are blatantly copied from the Borgias imo (side note: Tyrion’s storyline is literally about GRRM’s journey to atheism you cannot change my mind), the High Sparrow storyline is literally just Savonarola fanfic (the way the tale of Baelor the Blessed contains elements of George III fanfic). So the form that religion takes in Westeros is Catholic and thus really tactile as opposed to the more academic Protestant religions. Even though we have maesters, I think a lot of the social programming is provided by septons and septas. We also have, however, the sept taking indulgences, lots of man-created liturgies, cult sites, pilgrim tokens and relic tours—all the hallmarks of medieval Catholicism. Can you imagine how sexy Westerosi sainthood could be?!?! They don’t mention it like that but like—I love this idea!
I think it would be interesting to lean into that—are there different varieties of septon, the way there are Cistercians and Benedictines and Franciscans? (I literally am obsessed with monasticism don’t mind me) I think it would also be interesting to consider potential schisms—Like Eastern Orthodoxy and the Western Churches. To me, the schism would clearly occur in Dorne. Do the Dornish practice the Seven? I don’t remember tbh but any form of the Seven would be distinct in Dorne from the rest of Westeros.
The North reminds me of Christianized Scandanavia where many of the indigenous mythologies were re-adapted to folklore and superstitions and occurred alongside the practice of Christianity. The Northern religion is fascinating to me—there is no pantheon. I like to envision its stories as being Celtic or Norse but I think this would take the form of the non-god related stories: giants, fae, brownies, Tolkien-style dwarves. I think there’s something apocalyptic about Northern mythologies—celestial battles, etc. Their traditions are oral, often sung—later developing into troubadours—and stories of heroes similar to Beowulf, Fionn mac Cumhaill, etc. would be popular as well as fabled histories similar to the Aeneid, Arthur, or the Iliad. I don’t think they would have fondness for trickster characters like Loki or Odysseus and would instead focus on the moral or chivalric meanings of the myths.
The Red Priests and Priestesses are Zoroastrians. And I think that’s cool because Zoroastrians are cool.
Anyway, those are my initial thoughts. More will bubble up—this is my literal favorite topic. What about your head canons?

F M and U 🧡🧡🧡
F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
omg dialogue is really one of my least favourite things, and I try to avoid it as much as I can lol. but this is probs my favourite just because it's just ant and ben being brothers, but it also fed so much for this story and their relationship in it. It's from The Core of You
The two brothers continued to sit in silence, only the sounds of their breaths filling the room. “I remember when you bought this place,” Anthony reminisced, “We all thought you were stupid for not remaining it,” “Yeah,” Benedict let out an airy chuckle, his eyes still planted firmly on his now empty glass, “But I like it,” Anthony added, finally settling back into the armchair with comfort, “I think dad would have loved it.” He whispered, mainly to himself, but Benedict heard, “He would have taken over, sighting that I was too young to own such a property,” Benedict smiled as he thought of his father, “only because I found it before he did,” Anthony laughed, “Definitely,” Anthony shuffled in his hair slightly, his legs now hanging over one arm and his body resting sideways into the back, his glass still cradled in his lap, “He’d taken over your garden, you’d have all sorts of flowers growing in there, for mother obviously,” he added, “I’m sure Mrs Crabtree would have loved that.” Benedict finally looked up at his brother, both of them with smiles on their face, but Anthony’s eyes still looked at Benedict with sadness, pleading for his brother to forgive him.
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?
Loads. I have a Fran/Michael one-night stand one shot idea. a Bridgerton family @ Italian Villa plan which includes a part for all the relationships (minus Greg and Hy). It basically is gonna be 6/7 parts of smut ngl. Um yeah and my Benophie Hallmark WIP
U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much
gonna be 100% transparent, I'm terrible and reading fic because I just am greedy and want it all at once, so if it's a WIP I'm like no. and then if it's a multipart I can get myself overwhelmed by the word count when it's finished so yeah it's a fun little circle, but sometimes I read stuff so here's my thoughts.
@hallownight89 / hallownight89 - she's not affraid. She'll write what she wants to write, and writes it wonderfully. I have the honour of knowing how her brain works by working on a fic together and it's wonderful. Just truly wonderful đŸ„°
@sirphillipcranestanaccount / djcwrites - truly the number 1 reason that Philoise are now like second on my favourite couples. They were quite high anyway, but her Lost and Found fic is so wonderfully written, she manages to capture beautiful humour and the couples relationship and I just 😍
INTPSlytherin_reylove97 - I've only read one of their fics, and I haven't even finished it because I am terrible. But, having read their work in the Ton Discord writing sprints, and read one fic, I am just amazed. Truly and utterly amazed at the quality of the content they produce. It's just đŸ‘ŒđŸ»

my review for red tv the regular tracks
state of grace:crystal clear vocals, reminds me of 13 going on 30, dont ask me why. Her voice is nice and sharp, very different from og , maybe it needs more conviction in the delivery?? but overall very good 👍, not a lot of thoughts yet <3
red: this one is amazing, she nailed the title track, I feel all the angst and the drama I did in 2012
treacherous: the way she made a sad song more happy, I dont like it as much, but I'm just being picky, I do like this one, I think she did a good job, there is some minute changes
I knew you were trouble: a little boring? like less angst? the drops arent as dramatic, but the bridge is sadder, the way she pronounces anything sends me jsksdndk
all too well: the way she says your cheeks were turning red and bed is everything, I love this version, a more mature version, and the backing vocals, chef's kiss <3
22: very much an older taylor reminiscing about being 22 and singing this song, it feels like its different in that it has almost a nostalgic quality for her when she sings it, and that comes out in the song and the way she delivers it
I almost do: So good, always a favorite, truly heartbreaking </3(the way she says dooooehhh)
wanegbt: I know this is unpopular but I like it 🙈, like my mutual once said "the MEification of wanegbt"(@lockeskidney), it's so funny but also endearing, rip to the people who like noncringey music, I'm different <3
stay stay stay: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I'm so surprised I like this one, because I didnt care for it that much before!! but it's such a cute song!! I'll be loving u for quite some time đŸ„°
the last time: just as heartbreaking as ever, the cool thing is hearing the changes in both Gary and Taylor's voices, giving it a more mature picture, rather than the song being about a breakup, it is now about a divorce, "no past no where to hii-i-dde"
holy ground: I sense more of a somber gratefulness in the tone, the og version sounds more like a frantic celebration of a relationship, while this one gives a sense of remembrance that is more sacred ( no pun intended), I love the depth!
sad beautiful tragic: it feels like she almost narrating this relationship from outside of it, like she is overlooking it in a snow globe away form its emotional damages helpless to change the tragic fate of the relationship but still empathizing with her younger self going thru it.
the lucky one: the angst!!! I didnt knew I needed the extra emotion she puts into this version!! it's much more raw, even if her voice is more polished, it's like all her worst nightmares came true, and shes mad, full circle moment <3
everything has changed: the duet that keeps on giving, the bitter sweetness this song exudes, the rerecorded version of ed vocals provide a more earnest picture of the beginnings of a relationship, u can feel the joy <3 ( the backing vocals on the bridge were a little messy)
starlight: Taylor's feminine urge to mess up the starlight I wont forgive her for. wheres the fun? we are not dancing? we are slowly swaying maybe, like no energy, wheres the fast and loose fun of sneaking around and being young??? HELP
begin again: it sounds like shes trying to make her voice sound like a younger version of herself, and it's kinda works? I think this song is probably one of the better reproductions, as far as closely matching the original as possible, 10/10

Hi girl how are u, I’ve really been missing past friendships and relationships recently. The only thing is it’s been a few months and I was starting to feel okay but now I feel I’ve almost regressed in progression. They were toxic - extremely so. I tried very hard to just stick by it and like hope it would eventually change but it didn’t and it got to the point for my sanity I had to let it go. Can you please give me advice on what to do in this situation as I was so accustomed to them and the relationships we had I was pretty used to the way I was treated like I knew I deserved better but I do miss the memories and good times (when they occurred) .
I probably sound silly haha but would so love to hear your thoughts on how you would deal with this!
Thank you love ❀
Hope you have a beautiful day đŸ„°đŸ„°
its normal to miss friendships with people! as humans we tend to always reminisce on the positive aspects of our life instead of the negatives. of course you night have had amazing times with these people but you also cant forget about the negative times. if they are toxic then theres a reason you cut them off, dont let yourself forget about those reasons. you removed those people so new people can come into your life! you have taken so many steps forward so dont take any steps back! just remember your progress and that chapter of your life closed! love you so much hope you are having a fantastic day <3
