for a moment, Alistair just looked at Felonious with a taken aback look in his eyes, seemingly trying to figure out wether or not this was a joke.

he chuckled. "that is certainly a very extreme way of putting it." he said. "rather morbid..I would very strongly advise against it."

he hugged his taller husband close, pressing a kiss to his lips. "I told you so many times..you are my world and I would hate to see you set fire to yourself.." he chuckled, a blush spreading over his face.

Harry the vampire

and Gil the monster hunter-oh shit wait thats a werewolf.

some lore! Harry wasn't born a vampire, that shit ain't genetic. he was born of the ex-navy captain James Hook, and then was extremely neglected, he was on the brink of death at only six months old when Dracula swooped in and killed/ate James. taking pity on the baby, he nursed Harry back to health and then turned him when he was old enough/started revealing some health faults (extreme asthma, really really high metabolism (to a point where he never has any energy because his body consumes so much of it) and anemia) his turn wasn't out of ‘oh he’s weak’ it was to give Harry a better chance at living a full life without being capsized by his heath. Harry doesn't remember his real father, nor does he care. (Harriet and CJ are there, they are all half siblings, same dad different moms, CJ n Harry are 15 months apart) all three were adopted by Dracula (Harriet at the same time as Harry, CJ after the mom came searching for her baby daddy only to learn he was killed by the infamous Dracula)

Gil, son of famous monster hunter Gaston. he also wasnt born a werewolf. Gaston, a viscous man who hunted monsters only for money and fame; he was cursed with all his offspring to become monsters, the exact type he hunted for glory. werewolves. but instead of turning around and coming to care for monster's, which was the intended effect, Gaston uses his sons impeccable hunting and tracking abilities to hunt down more monsters. Gil is the ‘best’ of the three, though no one realizes that. under the full moon his brothers turn to horrific wolf-human beasts that kill on sight. Gil, however, has full control of his werewolf side, turning to a large, fluffy, and dangerous wolf instead. he keeps near his chosen pack on full moons, just in case he loses control. but he has yet to.

Uma is a descendant of a long line of powerful sea witches, who are thought to be connected to gods of the sea. her skin has a slight scale texture/reflection at the corner of her eyes/tops of her hands/her hips/tops of shoulders. her eyes are just slightly pointed as well, and she has the ability to breathe underwater with no problem, along with being able to communicate with aquatic animals.

i dont know how these guys became friends, other than maybe Dracula got some stuff from Uma’s fam one time and babe Harry just-latched onto Uma, he’s her’s now, try and stop him. Dracula didn't, he’s just happy someone is there to unVelcro his son from him. “good luck, he’s your problem now. no caffeine he has an iron deficiency. have him back by 6pm thats when dinner is.” Gil was maybe one time sent to hunt down a family of vampire's, saw them (Harry and Uma) and was like “nah, mine now” and lied to his dad about them getting away (that lost him some light in his dads eyes but boi don't care, he has his pack now)

Ursula’s still kinda a shit mom but Uma has lots of aunties n uncles to keep her happy, her moms less of a mom and more of a teacher. Harrys bio dad very much sucked, his dad on the other hand, rocks. man always makes sure Harry is taken care of, and took his sisters in without a second thought. Dracula is a good adoptive dad 2k22

Jack had always made sure to compliment how good you were at being a mother. How great you were with the kids, how gracefully you handled each problem when it arose. That was just who Jack Hughes was. He was a charmer, always having a way with his words.

You never hated Jack Hughes more than you had at this moment. Your second and youngest baby, Daisy Hughes, was currently celebrating away her first birthday, her chubby hands clapping together excitedly, not aware that her mother, you, was going through an emotional turmoil.

Your first baby, however, was extremely smart for his age. So caring and thoughtful.

“You ‘kay mama?” He wasn’t able to speak proper sentences yet, only being 2, but he had the idea down.

“I’m okay bubba, thank you for asking.” You picked him up, giving him a kiss on the cheek to which he returned one to yours, sloppy but so full of love that it reminded you of Jack.

In fact, Olivier reminded you so much of Jack. He was practically your husband’s carbon copy, your genes having not put up a single fight.

“Daisy fussin’ mama,” Olivier presses his small hands against your cheek, making you turn to look at his baby sister.

“She’s probably just hungry,” you reassure him, placing him down gently before opening the fridge to get milk. “Aren’t you Daisy bear?”

Your baby talk makes your daughter babble something happily back, smiling ear to ear. She was adorable, your mini copy.

An hour later, most of your family members, including Jack’s parents and Quinn had came over to the house, all holding mini gift bags that said Happy Birthday!

Olivier had practically ran over Ellen, who smothered the boy in kisses before doing the same to Daisy who was currently sitting in her high chair.

“Oh my! She’s grown so big,” Ellen says admiringly, “she looks so much like you Rory.”

“Thank you mama,” you say, holding onto Ellen’s hand for a while before taking out the cake you had bought yesterday from the fridge. It was mini sized, perfect for Daisy who’s eyes lit up at the sight of it.

“Jack’s busy tonight?” Quinn whispers after your baby is done blowing out her cake.

“Yeah, him and Luke are away.” You try to hide your disappointment, but Quinn can clearly see it. He knows you like the back of his hand at this point, you were his sister in law.

“Has he called at least?”

You sigh, shaking your head. You knew Jack loved Daisy, you knew he loved both of your kids with all his heart, but it was still upsetting to know that he would be missing Daisy’s first milestone.

“Well don’t worry about it too much Rory, I’m sure he’ll call by tonight. That’s his Daisy girl after all, he wouldn’t miss seeing you two over FaceTime.”

You nod, giving Quinn a quick hug before waving goodbye to all your family members. Now, it was just you and your two kids, like it had been for the past 2 weeks.

You missed Jack with all your heart, wanting to do this entire parenting thing with him. It wasn’t like he didn’t want to be here with you guys, it was just that he couldn’t. But it didn’t make that any less painful.

“Hey.” The sound of Jack makes both of your kids’ ears perk up, Daisy blabbing happily as Olivier ran out from his room.

“Dada!” Ollie takes a seat right next to Daisy, who was currently on your lap.

“My Ollie boy!” Jack’s smile grows wide, watching as Olivier fidgets around in happiness. “How was Daisy’s birthday baby? Did you guys have fun?”

“So much fun!” Olivier opens his arms wide, as if he was trying to express how much fun he had with the length of his arm. “I had this much fun!”

“Oh really,” Jack laughs. “I bet you did. Did you give mama a hard time?”

“Nah uh!” Olivier shakes his head, getting up and personal to the camera. “Daisy was fussin’ earlier dada, but mama took care of her.”

“I’m glad.” Jack then turns his attention to you on the screen. “Hi Rory sweetheart.”

“Hi,” you say. You want to sound happy, you do, but not having Jack by your side really took a toll on your emotions.

“You okay?”

“I just wish you were here Jacky.”

Jack sighs, turning on his hotel room lamp. “I know baby, I wish I was too. I really miss you guys.”

“It doesn’t seem like it.”

Jack’s happy demeanor flatters. “What did you say?”

“Nothing Jack,”

He shakes his head. “No Rory. I heard you. What do you mean it doesn’t seem like it?”

“You barely called today Jack!” You say exasperated, “it’s your daughter’s first birthday, and you barely called. It’s 10pm right now, I should’ve put Daisy and Ollie to sleep an hour ago, but I was waiting on your phone call ‘cause I knew they’d wanted to see you. You know, their father, Jack.”

Jack rubs his face in annoyance, clearly not expecting such a reaction from you. “Well I’m sorry I was busy Rory. I would’ve called if I wasn’t, you know that right? I love you guys, you know this. I’m sorry I haven’t been there Ror, I know it’s hard on you. But you’re such a good mother, you’re doing so well with the kids, I’m proud of you.”

“You know what’s funny, J?” You laugh, a few tears coming to your eyes. “Your words are supposed to make me feel better. Your compliments are supposed to make me let go of all this tension. But they feel like bullets, Jack. I feel your compliments feel like bullets on skin.”

Jack doesn’t know what to say. He knew you would be upset he wouldn’t be able to make it to Daisy’s birthday, but he didn’t think you’d be this upset.

“I’ll talk to you in the morning, okay? We both just need to calm down.”

And before you could protest, Jack’s already hung up.

You swear quietly, covering your baby’s ear as you do so. You get up from your place on the couch, deciding to just call it a night and put Daisy to sleep.

“Are you asleep yet Ol?” You peek your head quietly into your son’s room after putting Daisy in her crib.

“No mama,” he says quietly back, little feet running to you. “Can I sleep with you tonight?”

“Of course you can sweetheart,” you carry Olivier on your hip, walking to your room and making sure your son gets comfortable under the sheets. “Mama is gonna do her skincare, you sleep first, okay baby?”

“Yes mama.”

That night, you can’t help but cry silently as you cuddled your son close to your chest. You knew you were being emotional, but you couldn’t help it. You missed Jack more than anything.

The next morning, you’re awoken by a kiss on the forehead.

“J?” You say groggily, making out your husband’s face as your vision becomes clearer. “J!”

You throw your arms around him, bringing him into a tight hug.

“Rory.” He replies back, pulling away to give you a long awaited kiss on the lips.

After pulling away, you can’t help but chase his lips, which make him chuckle quietly. He presses his head down to give a kiss on Olivier’s forehead.

“Daisy’s still asleep?” You ask, putting your arms around Jack’s shoulders. You missed feeling his touch so much.

“Sound asleep.” Jack smiles. “Looks exactly like her mama.”

You look down guilty, realizing what you had said to Jack yesterday. “I’m sorry about yesterday J. I was just really emotional about you missing Dais’s first birthday. It means a lot to me that you’re here for our babies milestones.”

“I know.” Jack says, pressing a kiss to the side of your head. “I’m here now, okay? I told them I had to be home with my wife and kids immediately after I hung up last night. I had to see you guys again, it was killing me too.”

You pull Jack into a hug once again, cherishing this intimate moment you were having with him. It felt so good to have him back in your arms again after a long 2 weeks.

You were too happy to remember to show him the news you had found out a few days ago.

i mean this is the gold star right now, right? there's a reason yai is my pfp these days and it's because that was my exact facial expression throughout this whole scene. gobsmacked, elated, excited -- i really ran a whole gambit of emotions (i still am tbh)

i saw this moment out of context as the show was airing and i was like oh hell yeah a feisty lil guy - and then i got to the scene and i was like oh yeah no that's actually completely fair, he deserves a chomp. i would be so pissed if i was ai di and probably would have done the same. (and i enjoy you can see him think about going back in for another kiss tho)

sorry for the blood but like. this scene. this fucking scene. i can't remember ever crying so hard at anything. an open heart massage or resuscitative thoracotomy is a very real thing and is only performed in extreme emergencies when sign of life is still present. i don't think it would have done anything to help tin given the circumstances but the absolute desperation from sing to do anything to save his best friend was gut wrenching. and then to move from this into tol's grief and denial? this episode fucked me up so badly i had to take a lap around my house and do some breathing exercises.

i wasn't going to include kiseki: dear to me again but truly, what in the strawberry huckleberry fuck was chen dong yang thinking here? you're going to teach ai di about loss? ai di??? the orphan who lost his mom to a drug addiction??? who has only ever tried to protect chen yi? yeah, no, i think he knows a thing or two about loss, i don't think this "lesson" was necessary. i'm so fucking glad i wasn't watching this as it came out, i remember the screaming on my dash and i was FILLED with fear.

i did really enjoy we could see how aware of his surroundings ai di is at all times, though. his eyes scanned the area for just a moment and he was locked ON to that gun. baby boy might be a feral menace but he's good at what he does.

i'm going to be honest with you guys, i've been in this situation. i was dating this guy for maybe two weeks. he was going to get signed to a major league baseball team relatively soon (i've dated a whole cast of characters,) really nice guy, would come see me at work just because he missed me, almost everything was a big green flag. UNTIL. out of nowhere he says "hey do you want to have kids?" and i was like yeah idk maybe eventually and he replied "no i mean like now"

what the fuck do you mean??? hello???

needless to say uhh i found a tactful way to break up with him after that because what the fuck.

bls sure are a fucking RIDE and i am grateful for my new companion yai to really sum up my feelings about each and every one of these scenes (and all the ones to come)

Omph was having my evening panic session as I go to sleep. And a topic that flitted through my head was “what if there aren’t characters as compelling as Boston and Nick in my future?” Obviously that’s just the mental illness trying to get me but I will miss them. Terribly. Considering how little screen time we get and no specific flashbacks for younger character development I feel like NeoMark’s acting gave their chaos boys an extreme amount of heart. On paper BostonNick should be avoided at all cost. But they grow together. Boston is sex positive honest boy who learns to love. Nick is an obsessive self-conscious boy who learns to respect himself he doesn’t give in to Boston but he stays supportive. They aren’t 2d. I could hypothetically replace Boston with a play boy stereotype like Khai from ToL or Nick with stalker stereotype Toh from SCOY but Boston and Nick have so much more to relate to morally interesting… also I’m going to say it. I’m happy for all the spicy scenes with Boston and Nick they didn’t feel forced into the plot each one showed us a change advance in Boston and Nick’s relationship. Boston Nick fluff really was top tier boys who can’t get enough of eachother’s company. Gah so much chemistry. I think BostonNick is going right to the top of my Favorite Couples of all time even if the ending is shit. 11 episodes has given me love, pain, and hope.

Also bostonNick songs will break your heart.

Not 100% sure what comfort characters are, but I'll just take a crack at it assuming it means "I was or am extremely fixated on them and/or I just think they're neat." Trying to avoid massive spoilers, but there may be some minor ones despite my efforts...

Nero tol Scaeva (Final Fantasy XIV) I am pretty sure my first comment upon seeing Nero in RR was "Who is this loser? Looks like a worthless midboss that won't even make it to the end of the game," and boy was I wrong (about making it -- 100% he's a loser and worthless midboss). Now, 4 expacs later, he's my forever baby girl thanks to his incredible arrogance, sassy mouth, and "uncomfortably in love with Cid while also being divorced from Cid"-ness...

Revolver Ocelot (Metal Gear Solid) Ocelot is the OG "war criminal loser who is completely amoral outside of being wholly devoted to a single person, for whom he'd give up everything" so I obviously love him for the same reasons I love Nero. Every time Ocelot shows up in an MGS game, it brightens my day even as it makes the day of everyone around him worse <3. Meow.

Akemi Homura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) Hmm...looks like we're just on the "loser who will burn down the whole world to save the one person she loves" train, but it's a good train and I like it here! I wasn't a fan of the movie's take, but Homura's characterization (and magical girl powers) in the original show is simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking. Is it too much to ask that Homura be happy forever? No, I think it's not.

Sam Vimes (Discworld) I started with the Rincewind books, and while I do love them (and the academia references have only become more real to me over the years), imo the Nightwatch books are the heart of Discworld (yes, even more than the Death books, yes, I know this is contentious). Vimes is such a wonderful combination of rage, cynicism, kindness, and an unwavering adherence to justice.

Trico (Last Guardian) It's probably more fair to say all of the Team ICO games are comfort games, but a special shout out to Trico, who is the cutest kitty-bird-monster of all time despite eating those naughty, forbidden Trico Treats. I definitely had to lie down for a long time after finishing Last Guardian, and I was already emotionally prepared for having to lie down after finishing any Team ICO game ^o^;;

Very Bad at Eggs

Here is a very, very short list of spoiled rich boys who are so trash at cooking that they can’t even make eggs. As a bonus I’ll even rate their Boyfie’s tolerance of their ignorance.

Tol from Triage the Series

Couldn’t even figure out how to crack the damn things. To be fair, they didn’t look terrible...but they definitely didn’t look good. At all. Dr. Tin gets a 15/10 because not only did he find Tol’s confusion adorbs, he even gave him an in depth cooking lesson for the next time Tol encounters eggs.

Kuea from Cutie Pie the Series

It’s the fact that the boy didn’t even know how to use a kitchen knife properly. Did he even make it to actually cutting the eggs(he had to cut eggs right)? IDK. Mr. Lian gets a -10/10 because he was extremely impatient and he yelled at Kuea and made him cry.

Kinn from KinnPorsche the Series

Burned Eggs à la mode are his specialty. He knows his eggs are trash but he used them as a chance to boast about his dick so a win I guess. What’s crazy is that his instant noodles looked gourmet...but it was an ad for the noodles so I guess that doesn’t count. Um, Porsche gets a 5/10 he seemed pretty uninterested in the whole ordeal, he probably would’ve eaten them either way.

Tharn from TharnType 2: 7 Years of Love

IDK why that man kept thinking that cooking was the way to cheer his little angry bird up. He tried to make Type breakfast and burned the eggs to a crisp and then threatened to dip his hand in hot grease because he’s a big brat. A mess. Type gets a 7/10, sure he was annoyed but he did soothe Tharn’s lil grease burn with some cool water.

Kongpob from Sotus the Series

He burned eggs...in the microwave. He didn’t even actually cook them and yet they burned, WILD! He had to have put the time on like 30 mins or something. P’Arthit gets a 2/10, he clowned Kong to his face and then complained about the eggs to his former crush.

A very disappointing week and I’m loopy on cold meds.

Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs. Organized by which ones (in each category) I’m enjoying the most.

Ongoing Series - Thai

Triage (Mon AISplay) Ep 8 - the romantic growth in this show is really well done and natural, especially from Tol’s side, you can see him go from extremely wary to actively in love, it’s very well acted. He’s a complex character so I’m not sure I like him, but I definitely like THEM especially the domesticity moments. Also cute momentum on the side couple, SingGap. Gap is gonna have to get over uke tendencies and do the heavy lifting on this one tho, or nothing will happen. We have 5 more eps to go. This is a crazy ride.

KinnPorsche (Sat iQIYI) Ep 11 - Big Daddy interrupting a BDSM scene for the worse = a new one on me. Chay demonstrating my “please don’t make Thai actors cry” request. VegasPete was great. But frankly I probubly would have just preferred them as the leads in a Thai remake of Sei no Gekiyaku, and yes, I actually mean that. So now Kin’s dad killed Porsche’s parents and that’s the relationship doom drama or something? What is this nonsense? Thai BLs of Our Lives? Also BJ in a helicopter much? *grumbles about shark jumping in a corner*

Sky in Your Heart (Fri YouTube) Ep 3 - GMMTV putting the big guns in this one. Always happy to see TTJ. That said, Mek clearly can’t hack BL. I get no chemistry from these two. Not a very good kiss.

Check Out (Sat IQIYI) Ep 2 - basically this is giving me the messy cheating bisexual meets long suffering gay I was expecting from Love Mechanics but the plot is naff. Whatever.

My Secret Love (Sat YouTube Sat) Ep 4 - there’s nothing WRONG with this show, per say. There’s nothing right with it either.

Love Mechanics (Sun WeTV) Ep 1 - I am well over trying to find stuff that should be available international. What are they doing? It’s not like they lack for distribution options for BL these days when even China is playing in the field. Get your shit together. Why do they always squander YinWar? I LIED IT’S THERE. Messy cheating. Drunken dub-con. No sugarcoating. Ho boy. We in for a ROUGH RIDE.

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

To My Star 2 (Korea Viki) Ep 3-4 - So she is a childhood sweetheart ex? Bah. ANNOYED. That said, I did love the way she touches Ji Woo and he instantly checks with baby to make sure he’s OK. For someone who’s instinctive words always cut, Ji Woo’s physical instincts are always the opposite. He’s a great character and must be a lot of fun to act. But ho boy, Korea sure does like to D.W.E.L.L. Seo Joon’s sweaters = killing me softly. Also, catfight! Good musical score on this show. Poor Seo Joon he lost his foundation. Of course, this is going to be an exploration about how he is actually Ji Woo’s foundation. But obvs that’s poetry to come. Why is this show so painfully good?

Old Fashion Cupcake (Japan Mon Viki) Ep 1-2 - We’re gonna have to talk about something up front with this one. And it has to do with the fact that I’m a huge fan of the movie Tampopo. It’s got nothing to do with BL and everything to do with Japanese cinema. Why am I bringing this up? Because what this show does out the gate (and Japanese romance does a lot) is use the most intimate filming techniques (close shots, soft focus, etc...) to portray food and eating (not people/faces). Which means the food = a metaphor/stand in for sexual intimacy, repressed desires, and sexual awakening. I could not be more here for this showing up in a BL. It’s one of my favorite things about Japanese cinema. Add that to genuine mature characters? And I already love this show to peaces, and it’s going to be hard to be objective about it. Nozue + Togawa forever!

Senpai, Danjite Koidewa! AKA Senpai, This Can’t be Love! (Japan Fri Viki) Ep 1 - What is this with JBL opening on a kiss but not closing with one? The par de deux music mouse click thing was cute, and I like we get a JBL from both character’s POV from the start. And they were right, this is a Utsukushii Kare style worship only not whipping boy or attack dog more stalker like SCOY. (Uh oh.) All in all, this is a tense little show. I like THAT but I’m not sure i like this show yet.

Plus & Minus (Taiwan Viki *rec* & GaGa Fri) Ep 11 - Classic ep 11 DOOM. But it will all be okay. Cute side dishes were cute.

Want to See You (Vietnam YouTube) Ep 2 - It’s good, better with the brother character. You should read @squeakygeeky’s analysis of the pronouns, and how they shift, it makes for a much more comprehensible, significant, and flirtatious episode.

Love in Spring (Korea grey) Ep 9-10 - Can’t find subbed anymore. So I guess it’s on hold until I can or it gets distribution.

Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai AKA I Only Want To See You (Japan Thurs Hulu JP) Ep 1 - Not available inter.

Getaway (Singapore Mon YouTube) Ep 4 - The acting is just too terrible. DNF

Answering this for our boy Oliver, because I’m working on Ch. 10 which is all about him!

Does your OC look up to anyone? If so, who?

Captain Hollowar. His father was far too preoccupied with the Rothe legacy to be anything close to an adequate parent, and Oliver noticed his cruelty at a young age when it was directed towards his mother. His mother eventually couldn’t handle the stress of being a Rothe (for reasons we will get into later) and became a drunk who barely knew she had a son.

So even though Oliver really didn’t want to join the guard, it was the best thing for him. With Hollowar as his mentor he found structure and discipline, two things he was lacking. In addition to that, Hollowar was extremely fond of him and her positive reinforcement and constant praising filled the void Mara had left. Unfortunately, that is also what led to his considerably large ego. He considers Hollowar to be the closest thing to a real parent he’s ever had, and he’s been repressing the thought that she no longer wants anything to do with him.

What would your OC say to their past self?

I mean, this is pretty predictable: He would tell himself to run away with Mara instead of becoming the type of person he hates.

Welp, time to kiss my friends and hand them a tiny paper with no homo on it.

I think girls in general are so used to the agressive (in lack of better words) flirting because while growing up we were surrounded by or just seeing straight guys flirting and it just… lacks gentleness? And in my case, I know a lot of straight girls who are touchy and kiss their close friends because it just feels comfortable. And oh boy does it get bit more complicated if you find out you're lesbian or bi… And on top of that aro/ace spectrum? I went full on crisis where I was trying to figure out myself. But, going back to when I said guys flirt more agressively, what my point was that I also think girls flirt more indirectly? So that and being used to being close to your girl friends might be the reasons why some of us just don't notice the signs. But all in all, I'm sure it'll work out for us eventually, no matter are we tol or smol bis or lesbians within or not within aspectrum. :)

It’s definitely a social conditioning thing. Girls and afab ppl in general are typically socialized to be receptive romantic/sexual partners rather than making an advance themselves, so when you have two ppl (or potentially more if you’re poly) who both grew up with that conditioning it’s SO HARD. There’s a reason wlw joke constantly about their flirting style being staring at the other person and hoping they come over lol. THAT’S LITERALLY WHAT WE’VE BEEN TAUGHT TO DO. Midori’s image.

Midori is tall. A TOL BOI. And something about his physique makes it so it is more noticeable than in the usual tall people : even amongst idols who are usually pretty tall, he is called various nicknames of being the Very Tall One™. Adding to this that, as someone younger than the Graduates : he is still growing.

This is probably due to him having extremely striking good looks even compared to beautiful entertainment people according to the ingame universe―it is repeated in inner and outer dialogue again and again from multiple point of view. His soft tone and traits give him a pretty boy look, which is only enhanced by how towering, gentle and gloomy he is. Midori is also entirely oblivious to the fact that his toner arms and back muscles with his slender body shape also make the whole of him look appealing (as he is always told how well built he looks). This whole combination make him extremely appealing to his fans, having an approachable Hot Boy Next Door/Childhood Friend vibe with a hint of Dark and Handsome with a Soft Side.

Midori’s looks are striking enough for people to genuinely fall in love with him, or have their heart beat faster from someone beautiful staring at them (when usually he’s staring at something with mascot they have, causing a LOT of misunderstandings in the process). He is known to receive love confessions all year long and have so much chocolate on Valentine’s Day he cannot eat them all. Something he finds very annoying, as he has to thank everyone and buy them something back on White Day, as an introvert. Due to the attraction towards him being very strong, he also has a lot of trouble deaing with people’s disappointment when they happen to discover his gloomy personality : he already has a hard time dealing with social pressure, it is one he never asked for.

He is also fully aware of the privilege his looks are giving him, such as landing him numerous solo gigs of modeling and even drama acting without having had any concrete specialized skills in the matter beforehand. This, unfortunately, worsens his impostor syndrome.

Only by growing as a person later on did Midori start to enjoy procuring fanservice to his fans, with its biggest step being during the Valentine’s Day chocolate event. The connection with his fans cheering him on and the positive attention push him to work harder, and Ryuseitai’s positive reinforcement help him accept compliments more.

The pressure of the effect he has on people has become so that Midori becomes very self-conscious of the image he gives others, which does not mix particularly well with his cynicism, and when he finally eases in, a remark is easy to make him go back to his anxieties. This, with time, had turned his good looks into an insecurity he cannot control (and turns around, again, in his impostor syndrome, he feels bad for feeling bad about something a lot of people would like to have) and is slowly easing in more as he starts valuing himself.

The way everyone’s heads snapped to Sing after he asked Gap to dinner, like they all can’t believe he got himself together enough to ask. And then Gap’s disappointment when Sing invites them too! He was fixing his hair and everything!

Tin pulling Tol’s blanket up while he’s comatose :’(

Surprise forgotten childhood friends!

I really don’t blame Mai at all. It’s not right for her to use Tol for his money, but really this poor fucking girl. And in previous loops this would mean that her mom and Tol both die on the same night. This is way too much for one person to handle normally.

Tin is wrecked by Tol dying this time, it was so painful and way more drawn out than before. And now Mai has 2 funerals to plan because her mom was HARVESTED, and Fang got MURDERED for finding out about it, and Varit was already in a bad mental space and now he has to deal with the knowledge that one of his kidneys was stolen, and it’s all falling apart.

oh good lord, the unbridled chaos 😭

This one was extremely hard. As I’ve said, though, I always try to make it work, so here we go.

We really don’t know much about Nick, so I’m going to start by listing off what we do know. He’s a freelancer who shifts cat ears and a tail to try to get laid, breaking covert in the process. He also plays fast and loose with affection, considering he ends up dating Matt after living together for a whopping three weeks. He has soft boy mannerisms, questionable morals, and an undisclosed sad backstory.

So the covert breaking thing seems pretty damning at first, considering David is literally a shifter alpha who runs a security company, but it’s honestly not that big of an issue here? Like, think back to one of Asher’s first audios. He shifts to get out of answering the door for Guy. Then he just sits there like a loveable fool, a massive fucking wolf wearing boxers. He also straight up broke covert when telling Babe he was empowered. And that’s David’s best friend. A history of shifting-based covert breaches is probably not going to be a dealbreaker.

The affection part is kinda sketch in this scenario. David doesn’t do things unless he’s serious. He won’t date someone unless he wants to pursue something long-term. We don’t have enough information on Nick to know what he’s like in actual relationships, but like I said, considering the whole three weeks thing, it doesn’t seem too promising. BUT I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt here and say maybe Nick would settle down with someone if he really liked them.

Soft boy mannerisms, not a problem. Angel strikes me as a soft person, and David is incredibly weak for them, so I don’t see this being an issue. And, like Matt so eloquently puts it, his questionable morals are somewhat offset by his undisclosed backstory. Current David would probably at least try to understand, but I don’t know about past David.

Shockingly, I could see them getting together in the first place. Angel ended up with David by blatantly flirting with him in a fast food line. Who’s to say Nick, who has a history of seducing people, wouldn’t do the same? David ends up interested with this strange flirty person who doesn’t seem at all afraid of him, just like he was with Angel. Nick is only in it for activities at first, but once he starts getting to know David, I feel like he’d calm down some.

In the extremely unlikely scenario that they end up together, they would be tol and tiny boyfriends. You can’t tell me Nick is taller than 5’6”. David would be the responsible one who makes sure Nick doesn’t get into too much shit, either with other people or legally. Nick could probably help David chill out a bit and get him to have some fun once in a while. Again, though, there’s not enough information on Nick to make a full assessment of what their relationship would end up being like.

Hirano-sensei had been extremely apologetic over the fact that he would be running a little late on picking up Kei-chan, but Alice reassured him he had nothing to worry about. Keeping the little penguin company for a while longer would be an absolute pleasure and he could take as long as he needed to finish up his work.

Earlier on the day, the caretakers had been playing with the children outside, lifting them up to reach some of the ripe apples on the trees. Apparently, that had been a lot of fun for the little ones. Because when Kei-chan saw Alice sitting down on the floor, sorting crayons into their color coded tins, he took that as an opportunity to latch himself onto his back.

Feeling the sudden weight of him on her startled her slightly, but hearing that familiar giggle as he tried to climb further up had her chuckling as well. “Are you a little monkey now?” Adjusting them both, she safely set him up on her shoulders and got up.

“I’m not nearly as tall as daddy, but that’s still pretty high, huh?” Considering how responsible and borderline panicked Hirano-sensei was, this was probably something he didn’t do often - unless a certain police officer was involved in egging the little boy on, most likely.
