ANYWAY- HERE'S THE THING. TRULY. Always had my squinty-eyed caution on Emps. Trying to ascertain if they were for real with their words/actions/intentions or not. but. Squid buddy sharing their feelings of caring was the uh snowball that started this avalanche. Can't fake feelings huah, GREYGOLD FINALLY FOUND THOSE MUSHY BITS HUAH.

 Getting woken up by a fire alarm at 3 in the morning sucked, regardless of how old you were. So Matt could more than emphasize with the child who was so intent on making its grief known to anyone who would listen — or was forced to listen, anyway. Hell, if it wasn’t frowned upon, he might very well be doing the same. He hardly got enough sleep as it was, even without a fire alarm waking him just as he’d finally managed to fall asleep.

 Why, exactly, he felt the need to offer his help, however, Matt wasn’t too sure. Although he wasn’t unfamiliar with the pair, they’d never spoken before. There’d been some interactions through their windows that happened to face each other, especially with the kid, but that was as far as it had gone. He didn’t even know their names. So there was a moment in which he wondered if she’d take offense to his offer, or perhaps would feel the need to grow defensive.

 Fortunately, neither seemed to be the case and he took the blanket from her when offered. “Of course.” But then he had an idea that might just work to improve the kid’s mood. Kneeling down, he tucked the blanket beneath one arm, while his other hand disappeared in the pocket of his jacket for moment. “Hey, kid. Look what I just found.” When he pulled his hand back out of his pocket, he held a piece of candy between his fingers. Good thing he always carried some on him. “You want it?” Before handing it off, however, he looked up at the girl. “If that’s alright with you, of course. I know it’s the middle of the night and all.”

look, there aren’t that many female lead sports films. a league of their own means a lot to a lot of girls. i just wish they spent more time on the show about the actual baseball and how amazing it was for women. the show just uses it as backdrop and it’s a missed opportunity

do you ever think about how maybe getting swept by the c*nes wouldn't even be that embarrassing if we were putting up our game 7 performance and still losing? it's only embarrassing because we've just rolled over and let them kill us two games in a row.

no shade but the older i get, the more I think that loving space more than Earth is soooo lame & kind of boring. like space is very cool, but Earth? Earth is literally magical. We have LIFE here. We have boundless, mind boggling biodiversity. From plants to birds to reptiles to amphibians to mammals to fungi to insects to fish to bacteria! Millions upon millions of creatures dying & being born & billions more LIVING every single day. Every single one doing something & experiencing something that nothing has ever experienced before because everyday is a new day with new conditions. Billions upon billions of individual actors living in ways that are incomprehensible to every other living creature on this Earth but somehow still coexisting with each other. And we basically know NOTHING about life!!!!!!!!!! We know so little about ourselves as humans, let alone about insects or fungi or fish or plants!!!!!!! We know that these creatures know what to do, we know *sometimes* why they do it, but we don’t know HOW THEY KNOW HOW TO SURVIVE! We have no idea how a spider knows how & why to spin a web!!!! They just do! Instinct isn’t scientific — it’s literally just used as a means of describing an indescribable phenomenon to current scientific study!!!!! And that’s one example of BILLIONS!!!! TRILLIONS PAST & PRESENT!! Life on Earth is literally incomprehensibly magical im getting vertigo just TRYING to conceptualize how beautiful life on this planet is ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i hate my geometry teacher with a burning passion :D!!!! like, girl!!!! why do you gotta be so secretive and have us figure out what you mean by your (unnecesarily long)  assignment instructions!!!

then have us dig through 7 videos with way too much extra content,  plus 6 PDFs, only 3 of which are acctually relevant, but i wouldn´t know that before losing several days trying to make myself read through several hundreds of pages huh?

have you considered actually DOING YOUR JOB???!!! AND TEACHING US STUFF!!!! and if not uhh.... retiring :D?

Still rewatching the Back to the Roots special and apparently all of the members who know how to cook/grill ended up on either Team Likiya or Team Zin 😂
