Imma be real im a little disappointed with this event, idk like, the minimes dont sit right with me, even on a meta level, and it was just so. Idk. For something so hyped it didnt even give us that much information tbh :(

yeah it's not my favorite. i think the minimes are, in terms of features, still too close to the eggs, even if they aren't meant to be, and this really didn't actually give them info on stuff they were already investigating, just new shit to be confused about. which has been a problem in the past with events, where instead of actually getting more info on what they're already looking into they just get inundated with more new lore to worry about.

idk i think cellbit's right that things are ramping up to be more conflict oriented and less investigation, so maybe these will be for like. fighting a big war against the feds? or the other entity??? i really do not know i don't understand what the point of these is in a lore sense and i find this a really weird and disappointing thing to happen while the eggs are still missing.

i think we're also getting to a point where if the eggs really are coming back, which i really hope they are both because i like them and because i think a lot of ccs will lose some motivation to come on without them or even the hope of getting them back, they need to come back soon. like, as soon as twitchcon is over, or maybe once forever comes back. and otherwise, if they aren't coming back, that needs to be made clear. but right now we've got vague clues and nothing solid and people have already done their grief arcs for the most part and now are just kind of. floundering without knowing what else to do without their kids. even new people who didnt have kids are floundering because everything is about the eggs and now their absence.

like i do think they'll at least get the chance to save them, because otherwise the static images and messages and everything make no sense, but i just think this arc is getting old and we all really just want the eggs back. and that also makes the minimes seem like a really weird thing to suddenly throw in.

idk admins have managed to turn my opinion on other things they tried out that i didn't like at first, but this one is just really weird and im not a big fan. we'll see, though.

saw that you had some discussion about the pepito retconning and otipep. i was very surprised to see people hating it so much, and am disappointed by it being retconned.

i read the situation as pepito throwing a tantrum, because pepito is a small child and small children do stuff like that all the time. not pepito not actually wanting roier as a parent. little kids are dramatic all the time.

otipep does not exist and never existed, regardless of retcon. it was the explanation roier made to explain to himself why his child was having a tantrum because he wasn’t in a place where he could deal with it. it’s not reality, they’re not separate characters. it’s just pepito.

You see, the thing about Otipep is that he directly insulted the streamer, and he refuse to "Yes-And" with him, and that's the number one thing in any kind of improv storytelling. They were a different admin from what the audience and Roier were used to, and that's fine, we're used to it. What isn't fine is that Otipep refused to work with Roier and insulted him and ignored him and walked away every time ccRoier tried explaining what he and Admin 07's Pepito had been doing for the past few days. Call it a tantrum, that's fine, but it's also a dick move when it's your literal job to work with the streamers to tell a story. Look at the way other eggs have thrown tantrums, and then look at Otipep.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a Hispanic fan that actually liked the Otipep Day and that's because Otipep came in and immediately and actively destroyed days' worth of storytelling and wrecked a cc's attempts at a story to the point of the cc giving up on the rp for the day and going to build and even getting off the server a little earlier than planned because like? Okay? Sure, destroy yet another one of Roier's planned Lores, it's not like people have been doing that since the first week of the server.

The only people that I've seen defending Otipep at all have been English-Onlies who saw Otipep's English sign and bed basically screaming to the world "ROIER IS A TERRIBLE FATHER AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO ADOPT ME! PREFERABLY SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I TYPED THIS SIGN IN! NOT THE LANGUAGE ANY OF MY PARENTS SPEAK!"

And what happened after people saw that sign? Well, English fans all went "Well this obviously proves that Roier is a terrible father and that Bad should adopt Pepito instead. He's been a bad father all along, and he's just as evil and insane as Cellbit is." This, in turn, started the process of the Hispanic fandom yet again losing a character on the server; at this point, it's legit just Roier and Quackity because Pol isn't allowed online for Lore Reasons and qMaxo is dead and everybody else just doesn't log on as often. Do you see the problem here?

Roier describing Otipep to Richarlyson legit made Richas' admin go "WHAT????" because that was Not professional behavior on Otipep's Admin's part. And that's the biggest thing here, I think: the lack of professionalism at play when you're hired to play your part and work with people "in the spotlight" (aka the streamers) but you aren't cooperating at all. It's like going to work at a grocery store and being told you're working the registers that day and going "No, actually, I'm going to stock shelves". You don't do that at work, and you definitely don't do that live on stream in front of 10k+ viewers.

I work in childcare. I know a tantrum when I see it, and Otipep could be seen as one. But you have to keep in mind the meta aspects here and think, wow, this is fucked up from a meta perspective! Going out of your way to ruin the fun of someone else just because you want the story to go a certain way? Not to be tolerated in any kind of collaborative setting. My dnd groups have kicked people from the table for less.

It got to the point where Quackity himself has to say it isn't canon, and, well. I think we can see that there was a genuine problem.

Admin Lite Update.

Hello everyone, how have you guys been? I hope you guys are doing well, considering the circumstances.

I wanted to make this post for the longest time, but things have been in the way, and I didn't have much time.

First off, I wanted to apologize for the lack of update posts, news, and other Call of Duty official content. We promised ourselves to keep up with the blog by posting news and other updates whenever they drop, but we haven't been doing that lately. And I know nothing can be held as an excuse, but we both have our reasons.

We (the admins) haven't been feeling the Call of Duty spirit lately. I know the MWIII beta came and went recently, and it should've boosted our morale and spirit, but it didn't, and we didn't even play it. I don't know how to explain it, but it just didn't click at the time. We did tune into CODNEXT. It was fun to watch to a certain point, but it got stale quickly. But still, we didn't get the hype we had before.

And on top of that, our personal lives have been in the way. Yes, we being tumblr fan blog admins have other stuff to do in life than being tumblr fan blog admins (surprising I know). Jokes aside, we've just been a lot busier past month or so.

Conclusion? MWIII is just right around the corner. Yes, we will still cover the news for it, and, yes, we will still keep the blog up and running via queue (bless Mari for it so far). And we will try our best not to disappoint. We're still a fan blog, and we still love Call of Duty. We just got a bit burnt out is all. Although we're in semi-hiatus, we will be back fully up and running the blog right before MWIII comes out... hopefully.

Hmmm. Okay. I keep feeling that there's something missing from TLH that makes it feel complete. Now, that's probably the lack of a timeline that I keep forgetting about, BUT I also have another opposing force in the mix: Team Rainbow Rocket. Now I've been avoiding talking about them bc talking about them would mean talking about Poppy, who was very under characterized with no real backstory. Now, he's still in development, but him being a faller has helped me piece together who he could be and how he plays as a protagonist for usum. Rainbow Rocket doesn't even appear until the end of USUM. I don't know if Poppy has actually encountered them or not, since they end up becoming a rival to TLH for a period of time.

Here's what I do know/ ideas that I think would be cool:

Each leader is essentially Cursed-Chosen. I'm adding Chosen cause they ended up winning in their timeline, so something gotta balance out the Curse that the legends pokemon has placed on them.

So yes, these guys have powers of their own alongside their given legendary. This guys are a threat.

The members of Rainbow Rocket are the ones seen in the post game, with the addition of Lusamine from a different dimension. Rose and Colress I'm debating on though. Not Rose from this au, he would refuse their offer( given that he did ultimately win in the end/hj),and alternate reality Rose. Same with legends! Colress, I feel like Eva has eagle eyes on him so even if he wanted to join( he is slightly curious) he wouldn't.

For Admins, I know for a fact that there's a RR! Silver, one who never doubted that his father was the best and continues to push his ideology onto others.

Maybe an RR! Blue or Red? I already got TLH! Green, so I'm left with those. I wouldn't be surprised if Giovanni tried to make Red or Blue a weapon on his side. I think Blue might be more interesting, only because he was the more "weak willed " of the two. Giovanni would know where to strike the child where it hurts, making him feel vulnerable enough to strike. Not saying that Blue would join willingly - hell no. This is Blue we're talking about. No, this is an abduction. He must likely get mind controlled and turned into a super soldier( Giovanni keeps him in line by mentioning how maybe if he chose Rec, he wouldn't be so disappointed all the time).

Yeah, that would probably mean RR! Blue and RR! Silver would but heads a lot.

Not entirely sure if I would add rivals or other canon characters to RR's ranks. I feel like they're pretty stacked already.

....okay maybe RR! Shauna. Maybe.

Okay to actually plot stuff: they are basically competitors with TLH for 1) gathering Legendaries and 2) Finding a way to break apart a Chosen and Chooser. As a refresher, this formula for that was created by Sakura and Volo individually, but not together. Both sides thought the thing wasn't complete and ditched the project, not knowing the other had the missing link. Lysandre is probably the one who really kickstarts this, however. Someway or another, he had gotten his hands on Volo's half of the formula and has been experimenting with it ever since. Once TLH got wind of this, it started a back and forth of who has the formula and even funnier, who has Volo( I think it would be funny if he was being thrown around like a football ).

So basically, the job of the Chosens is to stop TLH and RR and make sure the legendaries aren't being interfered with in general and do whatever their day job is. Pour one out for Jude y'all. He's gonna fucking need it.

The only good thing about the TLH - RR rivalry is that they are often going to focus on each other, wasting resources on each other. This makes it slightly easier for the Chosens to divide and conquer. Slightly.

And I think that's it? For now. I....really need to make a timeline, fucking hell.

yeah. I was in your server and it's dead too. I don't know why you keep inviting people to the server. It's beating a dead horse.

LONG POST: I wondered when I get one of these. Sometimes servers do die out. It happens and there is sometimes nothing you can do about it. I'm not sure how much of a troll post this is or isn't. However, I have had people mention that they missed places to Rp which is why I have been trying again. We're also in the middle of the pandemic where most people in general are depressed/dealing with a lot of IRL stuff and don't have the energy to be more than lurkers. Health and IRL stuff always comes first. I am in at least 7 red dead redemption servers and let me tell you, they are all either slow or dead. So while it comes across that you're insulting the server I once helped run, I have tried my best and I know the current admin and mod team have tried their best. Many other servers are in the same boat. Additionally, people talk about how it's dead, but there are attempts. People don't respond to either A. people who are staring conversations whether it's a get to know you thing, normal every day talk or red dead talk. B. Prompts /activities to get to know your characters or the characters you want to roleplay as, questions of the day, short mini rp threads, etc... C. Offers of movies/games streaming and voice chat. I've seen multiple people try to set up conversations with me being one of them. You can't force people to talk. It's disappointing, but you can't. However anon, if you're still in the server, you could also try starting conversations or responding when you see them. If you're not, well then why leave an anon like this anyway? But again, I'm in servers over a 100 who are slow to mid sized servers that are completely dead to smaller once popular servers that may as well be dead. That's just how it is in this fandom for whatever reason. It's also what I have heard from my friends who are in different servers. Active for a while, then slow or they die completely. Important addition: Some red dead servres get created, have a boom and then die. It reminds me of boom towns during the gold rush. More importantly, with the level of literally unhinged people I know or know of, it’s very hard to avoid those people and it’s akward to be there with that person - or hell, even triggering for me sometimes. That, and if it gets bad enough, it’s difficult andembarassing to go to admins and mods and “Oh they harassed me horribly” type of thing, regardless of what happened. For me, I literally avoid people who had tried to attack me in real life. I know multiple other peole on tumblr who will never join a server on discord because they have either been horribly tormented on tumblr and don’t want to experieince it on discord, or have heard how terrible it is on a lot of servers and want to avoid it. This is what I was referring to when I was talking about how to make friends. If I could fix the rp servers, I would immediately. If there were more laid back servers of friendly people, I would do it because everyone is lonely right now. But I really think this anon is a little rude.

S.coups thought he was a failure and wanted him to go to the car with Woozi

*Joshua just walked away without a care in the world, he's holy*

Joshua: "It's not bad to steal if they're small items right?" *steals like 10 pencils*

*Steals a 'How i met your mother' DvD to watch later*

And also stole a pair of cheap sunglasses but the lenses kept falling out

Joshua: "If i glue it I can give it to someone for their birthday"

He gets stopped by a lady checking for receipts so shua throws a few flirts out

Someone has gone ahead and dm-ed me with a lengthy explanation for the Guapoverse stuff, so here is the explanation from somebody active in the Twitter community.

Hopefully, with this full explanation, we can all stop fighting and being nasty to each other. Is this really the way we want to present ourselves? We're all really cool people, we shouldn't be tearing each other apart over something as silly as tags.

hey, just wanted to let you know the context of the whole guapoverse in twitter and why people are changing the tags and the ! for the cubitos, since I think the criticism from both sides is just basically miscommunication. the vast majority of the cellbit community in twt (and a lot of people from roier's) are not just disappointed or boycotting the qsmp, they just straight up dropped it (like, the most common opinions I saw regarding the future of the qsmp from both of those communities are either watching only cellbit and roier if they logged in to just not watching even them if they decided to do so). There are a lot of reasons as to why but people have lost the hope they had in the server and in quackity, especially after the way he treated the xenophobia and admins situation. people still love the characters and the story they constructed and think everything cellbit and roier put they effort in is bigger than the platform and "world" they created it. the thing with not using the q anymore and changing the tag is because the project, as much as it brought joy to us in the beggining, caused more pain and harm than good in the brazilian community, both for the viewers and admins affected, so we just really don't want to have a reminder staring at us everytime we want to talk or write about these characters we care so much for. BUT!! I totally agree that the ! system for the cubitos is super confusing, so as a chronically online person in the twt fandom I'll try to explain the system I've seen people using (is not perfect and not as consistent, it's still all very new, but I'll try to explain the patterns I've notice, also it's mostly applied to the guapoduo twt fandom I can't explain the use from other viewers.) people either use g! or just the ! to refer to the qsmp characters, some still use the q! but it's mostly those two. f! from the fuga impossível characters (like f!cell), the c! from chafaland (like c!roier) and other variations from the twt aus (like the great pretender au is gp!cellbit). so it's mostly it I feel like as someone who has not seen the disappointment in real time and seen people coming up with solutions to still enjoy the characters and their story without having to be reminded of the horrible time the community had these last few months, is very valid that you had your reservations to the many changes the fandom had, and I guess it could look like people are just avoiding the server and trying to erase everything related to it but I hope I could give you more context people are still posting under the q!, people are still posting stuff in the qsmp tag, they aren't going after people that are still using it, it's just to distance themselves from it. the whole thing is mostly a twitter thing, I think not even 30 fanfics changed the tags (last I checked), is just people there are the most affected from the xenophobia and wanted to distance themselves (again, in twitter) of the qsmp and quackity fandom. nobody wanted the whole fandom to adapt, nobody wanted a revolution in guapoduo/spiderbit media consumption, it was just a way to distance themselves on twitter. it was just this.

It's a pretty long explanation, but I think it gets everything across that needs to be said.

Nobody needs to be a dick to each other. We need to understand the Guapoverse Guys, but they also need to understand us. We've got some cultural differences between Tumblr and Twitter, and now there are more differences between Guapoverse and Everyone Else.
