It just irks me when in the OP fandom people start speculating who’s going to be the new Strawhat, when there’s still so much focus needed on the other ones. Like, we don’t have time for a new member when the other ones (other than the monster trio) aren’t given enough time and focus.

This wouldn’t be such a big problem if there wasn’t the big debate on who is more “useless” pre time-skip or post time-skip. Or “the Strawhats are a yonko crew, and they should all have haki by now.”

Adding on to that, the recency bias doesn’t help the whole matter either. The same ones who push for a new Strawhat member also criticize the Strawhats as a whole because of the non-monster trio members having not unlocked any haki, or because some can’t 1v1 an adversary. Usopp has haki but those naysayers say it “doesn’t count”.

It’s all nonsense, of course, but admittedly it gets to me.

So, why do we need one more Strawhat?

st5 will be filming for a whole ass year so im not letting go of my st5 theories, BUT, apparently this A24 war film will be filmed between now and august (likely before april, even) (joe was only able to enter the A24 project when f4 filming dates were confirmed) (which makes more sense on why joe waited with signing the f4 contract so long compared to the other 3) and im assuming relapse will too? its 6 months, so sounds doable, but it all sounds like a real tight squeeze, so idk

we also know that f4 will film in london, and that relapse takes place in LA so presumably will also be filmed there maybe? we dont know, and we absolutely know fuck all about the A24 war film, so... we'll wait and see, i guess?

one thing i've been wondering about for quite a while now is, why are the buttons of alex's cuffs always undone? i kind of get why he and greg leave the uppermost buttons of their shirts open, but why the cuffs?

this is taken from series 3 (hence the lack of grey hair), because it shows here quite well, but you can take probably any other series and he'll have his cuffs unbuttoned. i want to know why? is there an explanation? theories? it's making me go insane. are there people who don't button their cuffs (other than alex i suppose) because i'm terrified of you. now they're just getting in the way and worse, if you wash your hands, you'll get wet sleeves.

I think the tikky tokky people were being far too harsh on the 13th doctor ngl. Im on the last episode of season 11 and ive loved her so far. The stories have been good. This show has made me like Bradley Walsh. Which is no easy task. Im sort of liking Ryan now (i hated him so much at first). And i like Yaz too.

Saw something on r/theowlhouse that kinda annoyed me, but reddit isn't letting me comment on it so I'm gonna ramble here

The post was asking who would win, the Gaang from A:TLA or the Hexsquad, and the resounding response was that it was the Gaang, no contest, (someone made a Hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby comparison) and that Toph especially would be able to sweep the Hexsquad 1 v 5 easily which...no?

That's a fight that seems pretty evenly matched to me?

Not a Toph v Hexsquad, Hexsquad would easily win that, seriously, but a Gaang v Hexsquad seems like a fair, matched fight.

And the thing that really annoyed me was so many people specifically saying Toph would solo Willow no question, which is also so mind boggling to me bc like...plants bust through earth? All the time? It's like their thing?

All Willow would have to do to beat Toph would be to grow a tree underneath her, and trap her 30 feet away from the earth. Toph would be completely powerless without any earth she could bend, and she can't see through wood, so she would be completely blind and would have a really difficult time getting down without help.

If anyone in the Gaang would be able to 1 v 1 Willow and win, it would probably be Katara, since her waterbending gives her the ability to hijack Willows vines through the water in them, or even just pull all the water out of them and kill them.

Although, hurting or killing Willows plants like that could send her into a glowy eyed curb stomping rage, which could be enough to overwhelm Katara regardless.

I'm not saying that that means the Hexsquad would stomp the Gaang, or that Willow could 1 v 5 the Gaang or anything, but Hexsquad v Gaang seems like it would be pretty even to me, and I'm not sure what everyone over on reddit is thinking.
