Altrverse ramblings because I’ve got ego brainrot something fierce (Altrverse spoilers below cut)
I know there’s been a lot of lore changes since the 2016/2017 era egos so not sure if this will even be relevant but tbh just wanna get my thoughts down
I know it’s been pointed out before but I keep thinking about the “oh shit” knowing look the twins give each other when the man all in black is mentioned.
It makes me wonder if the whole “Anti gets more powerful the more people talk about him/say his name” thing from the early ego stuff is still canon and is the whole reason the twins decide to erase everyone’s memory and cover up the murder. Like if they have even a small inkling of how Anti operates maybe this is their attempt to kill the potential of people talking about him and making him more powerful. And is Marvin remembering what happened and investigating going to wind up just feeding into Anti’s power and making things worse??
I had kind of wondered back when I first watched Anomaly Found if that’s the reason Anti was called ALTR 114209 by IRIS, as a way of getting around saying his name. But then again we know other ALTRs go by numbers so maybe that’s not the case at all.
Tbh it’s also entirely possible that bit of Anti lore has been dropped entirely with new Red Anti™️ and is no longer relevant, but just something I’ve been thinking about.

ALTRverse, the Multiverse, and the Jacksepticeye Cinematic Universe
Hey. This little theory is about exactly what it says in the title; the "Jacksepticeye Cinematic Universe", the universe(s) the comics will take place in, and the concurrent multiverse as a whole.
I'll do my best to explain my thoughts below the cut. :)

What if, despite a lot of things being called canon and not canon these days, we made a theory that wraps all those things together?
And what if I told you it's all possible because of IRIS?
IRIS is short for "Inspiring Research of Impossible Sciences". They push the limits of what's possible by any means available to them, and according to themselves, they've actually succeeded in doing that.
But… what does IRIS have to do with the story, aside from being a corporate entity within it?…
Remember that time they tweeted about the multiverse?
What if there actually is a multiverse in play here? And what if… even our universe is part of it?
Hear me out:
My concept here is that IRIS is a multiversal constant. Meaning, wherever you go, in whatever JSE canon universe there is, IRIS is there somewhere.
We've actually had basis to believe this given to us. The fact that IRIS has a Twitter account in general means they're "in" our universe. They also exist in the same universe as Chase Brody. And, as seen in Void Silver issue #0, Marvin also recognizes the IRIS signature.
So, if IRIS really is a multiversal constant, what does that really mean?
It could very well mean that, in every single universe IRIS is present in, there is also an Anti or an equivalent of him.
Here's an example of what I mean:
2016-2017 Antisepticeye as we saw him on the JSE channel and ALTR-114209 are very, VERY different from each other. Sure, they may both make technology malfunction in their presence and be generally ill-meaning, but aside from their somewhat-similar appearances and motives, they have almost nothing in common.
Now, back in the day, we would've theorized that the in-universe explanation for this change would've been that the "Anti" we see and the "Anti" Chase Brody would've seen are the same entity, presenting himself based on his different victims' fears.
What I'm proposing is that, despite both of them being "Anti" in essence, they are two different universes' versions of one character. They are equivalent, but not exactly the same; "Antisepticeye" is our universe's Anti, which is why we've seen the most of him– and ALTR-114209 is another universe's.
(Of course, the out-of-universe explanations for the changes to the character can be chalked up to time– Anti has evolved over the years to be applicable to various situations on the channel, after all. I'm just suggesting explanations for in-universe events here.)
As with Anti, however, all the egos and even IRIS itself can have an equivalent in the other universes. KJSE Henrik, Mayhem Henrik, and Henrik as we saw him in You're Not Ready For These Scary Games could be three variants of the same character. Chase Brody as we saw him in Bro Average and as we saw him in Anomaly Found could be two variants of the same character. Heck, C!Jack could be a variant of Chase or even someone else– just because Seán declared him "non-canon" to the IRIS storyline doesn't mean he can't be canon somewhere else!
Dear ego artists and writers, does this concept sound at all familiar to you? Because it should.
It's pretty much the basis of every ego AU ever made by a fan.
And, well… in the extended multiverse of JSE lore, who's to say what is and isn't "canon" in its own right? Something canon to the story Seán is telling doesn't necessarily have to be incorporated into an AU. Similarly, Seán doesn't have to incorporate fan-made AUs or headcanons into the actual canon.
But it's something we kinda do anyway, because of the way we feed off of inspiration from each other, isn't it? Kinda cool when you think about it that way. :)
As for the future of the IRIS storyline and ALTRverse, though, my prediction is that we're going to see things harken back to events in the past (although those events may be altered for the sake of the setting), while making our way toward the actual canon story. I can't imagine a better way to wrap it all up in a nice little bow.
But, anyway… that's just a theory. ;)

Major altrverse spoilers, void silver specifically. I just need to write down a theory I have
Ok so I'm thinking about the masks all of the known magic circle members wear and I have a theory as to why some of them are different than others.
So, from what we've been shown, there are 3 different types of masks.
The dinky little superhero mask (a single woman in the background of the various investigation scenes)
The animal half-face masks (Marvin and Sunday)
And the Full animal face masks (The Twins)
I think the different masks correspond to their rank in the magic circle. Cause obviously The Twins are important (and kind of full of themselves), so I'm just assuming the more of their face that's covered, the more important they are.
But I wanna know why doesn't that one background woman have an animal mask. And what determines what kind of animal your mask is. Maybe there's no correlation between the masks and their rank, maybe it's just Whatever They Want. Idk.
I wanna know why Sunday's mask is yellow and a bear. Why are they Golden Freddy

Since c!Jack's existence has been wiped off I'm gonna pull out my game theory hat and say this:
Anti's whole "Possessing someone's body" thing can mean three things now:
--Since it's heavily implied that he's a tulpa-like entity, and it's also implied that the mc in Chase's universe is Chase, I'm assuming Anti took on Chase's likeness and is now haunting him with his own appearance.
--Anti possessed a random dude's body and is now using that to travel the altrverse
--Anti already had the body to begin with

JSE Altrverse Fic I made like a week ago.
⚠️NO ALTRVERSE SPOILERS⚠️

Marvin hurriedly searched through his spellbook. Page after page, flipping through them all. The demon was nearing, he needed to be quick.
"Marvin~" Anti's glitchy voice said from nearby.
Marvin picked up the spellbook and ran. He attempted to continue to find what he was looking for.
Looking behind him we could still see Anti. This hallway was endless, and no matter how fast he ran the demon was always close.
He tripped and fell, his face smashing onto the ground. "F*ck!" He said. His glasses were destroyed. He put on what was left of them and attempted to look through the book. One last page turn, and there it was.
He looked behind him again. Anti was now walking. He wanted Marvin to run. He wanted Marvin to fear him. The chase was the game, not being caught.
Marvin began saying the incantation, holding one hand out in front of him.
"It's no use!" The glitch spat. "You're weak. It won't work."
Marvin didn't stop. He kept at the spell until a green portal began to form at his fingertips.
Anti growled, standing a few feet behind Marvin.
As the portal was fully made Marvin laughed. He closed the book and ran through. It began closing behind him.
Antisepticeye jumped through, just getting through the portal before it closed.
Behind them, though, a body lay. Long green hair and foggy grey eyes, a familiar mask in his hand. But it wasn't in the hallway. It was on the ground, the spellbook open beside the breathless body. No movement. A soulless husk in the dirt. The book lay open to a page labeled VERTO CORPUS. (Body Swap).

EXPLANATION:
(Basically in my AU, Egos cross over AU, Marvin gets magic from Anti. Well Phantom gives him the Antimatter in question which is still sentient Anti if he uses too much power. This AU I used a similar idea with Antimatter.) So this universe's Marvin knows he's dying, so he tries to swap bodies with himself from another universe. But uhhh he dies. But the spell sort of works. He can't transfer his consciousness because he dies, the never ending hallway is his hell. But it transfers his power/Anti. So however Marvin gets his powers is ACTUALLY just a coincidence and he now has sentient Antimatter from another universe inside him giving him magic powers. So uhh that's how Anti would become a problem in the comics.)
This AU would go like Alterverse!Marvin gets it mysteriously and then he gets memories he doesn't know. This was just an AU and not a theory or anything.
