my most bitter proposal for a season 2 fix it is that the crew refuses to let ed back on the boat (as they should) so stede throws a tantrum and ultimatums that if ed stays so will he but the crew just take him up on that.
they make their inn in the wreckage of anne + marys house and the crew goes off and continues to have fun hijinks with izzy as the ship parent

Peggy never participated in Operation Paperclip. It was conducted by the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA) and largely carried out by special agents of the U.S. Army's Counterintelligence Corps (CIC). Peggy at this time was too busy head starting SHEILD along side Chester and Howard. Howard was the one who was first invited by CIC to work with Arnim Zola and ultimately decided to bring him to use as a SHEILD scientist.
While Phillips was convinced, Peggy was not. She knew what Zola had done to Steve. She knew about his work in Hydra and even had her suspicions about what he'd done to Barns in Azzano. This is the biggest fight Howard and Peggy ever had (and why she was not widely present in 616 Tony's life.)
In the split timeline, when Steve returns, he and Peggy use his foreknowledge to find Bucky and condemn Zola to life in prison.

sometimes i think abt that youtuber that said diane nguyen was a dull character in seasons 1-4 of bojack because “shes the character that is the hardest to relate to in the cast because she’s married to a sitcom actor and is a popular ghostwriter, which isnt something many people can say, so to fix her, they needed to let her get divorced and get into a worse financial situation ”
as opposed to the actual sitcom star she married who got the job by wandering into a studio, apparently,

the thing that kills me about the breakdown in communication between izzy and ed is that they *do* talk to each other but they're incapable of understanding each other bc izzy will only say what he wants (for ed to kill stede) but not why he wants it (fear for ed's safety) and ed will say why he wants (bored, burnt out) but not what he wants (to stay with stede)

btw the SÖZ is the only political party that i know of in austria that has publicly voiced support for palestine and called for a ceasefire. i hadnt even heard of them before but its really unexpected for an actual political party in europe to openly show solidarity and even use their funds for public campaigns like these posters, so i just wanted to draw some attention to them

Name: Astra Harrowe, the Wolf Spider
Race: Half-Moon Elf
Class: Seeker Warlock x. Whispers Bard
Background: Courtier
Ability Modifiers: +5 Charisma; -2 Strength
Campaign: The Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign I had originally played as Tree in began to spin off into a bigger thing with at least two whole extra campaign books thrown in, and Tree had kind of run her course, so I asked if I could bring in a character of my own creation, and thus, Astra.
Backstory: Astra was a Harper agent who had been installed in a small castle, posing as a courtier to learn its goings on and return information to the Harpers, and ensure that their values are being upheld there.
She was recently reassigned to Phandalin to quietly investigate rumours that the Lords Alliance have seized unwarranted control of the town, and that Order of the Gauntlet agents had also been dispatched there. Her orders were to discover if these other factions intend simply to provide aid the town of Phandalin, as had been suggested, and if so, to assist them as best she could. If however their motives are to use hostility to take Phandalin as their own territory, she is to report back to the Harpers immediately, and co-ordinate their downfall.
#Astra was far and away my most powerful character#in terms of like raw level she made it to 9 which was 5 levels higher than i'd ever gotten a character before#and 4 levels higher than i've gotten one since#but also the build was great and she got more magic items than i think every other character i've played combined#also fit the party dynamic really well#was playing with a fighter/barbarian multiclass and a cleric/ranger multiclass#i think the best show of just how fuckin' undefeatable that trio was was holding a bridge with just 1 NPC cleric helping us out#against a literal army#for like 30 rounds or something#while the army is also getting into boats to cross the river without using the bridge and stuff and we're simultaneously wrecking the boats#it was like well over 100 hobgoblins but also some villain characters with magic and stuff AND a bunch of ogres#she became known as The Wolf Spider once we beat the Black Spider and she took his armour and repainted it#started using villain stuff to try and scare other villains#Also she became a wererat but pretended to be a werewolf#but a were-anything makes you immune to like 90% of damage#gimly#dandy#noticemequannaix

and like in general you just give the same sprites new outfits for the reunion and write new stories in a different place so you're not limited by the love island format, which can grow tiring, and also give the fandom more time with the characters they've (hopefully) grown to love/hate or at least care about (like I think a couple of us are still thinking about s6 and i dont think anyone really begs for a new litg season a month after the last one ends) and a reunion special doesn't even need to be as long as a full season
