It's the dancing, the swaying, the blurry parts. It's the kissing, the yearning, the drowning. It's the tears, the grief, the embrace.

Palm is so broken and Nueng is so broken and broken things are weirdly beautiful in such a bittersweet way.

A lover wants to comfort but shares the pain. The pained can't comprehend anything except the opposite of grief.

The kiss lets him drown in some sort of love but the heart doesn't want it. It doesn't cure the wound and it does not stop the running thoughts.

The bath makes Palm feel better and worse and he remembers too many memories. The pure existence of his mother hurts right now.

Nueng knows it, Nueng gets it and he is reminded of his own grief, it never left his body and it never will. He does it all to show he cares and understands. He wants to drink with Palm but can't and he's truly sorry for that.

They share the pain and it's such a suffocating scene. My heart skipped a beat, it honestly made me feel many things and my heart is aching. It's such a realistic form of grief.

It's silent, it's no screaming, it's the realization it truly happened. It's silent tears that shatter hearts and it's empty eyes that grew old within seconds.

does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.

The fact that the Boston transit system has been a garbage fire for so long that our mascot is a sad little man who is literally stranded on the train until the end of time due to a fare increase. Charlie's desiccated corpse has been riding this train since the 1940s and everyone just sort of rolls with it it this point
