so i definitely vibe with the headcanon that andrew gets a medusa tattoo, but hear me out:

so in the actual myth, athena doesn’t curse medusa out of pity or to save her from the men that aim to assault her. she did it out of rage and vengeance after medusa’s rape basically defiled her temple. on top of that, when she is beheaded by perseus, athena then puts her head on her shield to protect herself against enemies.

with this in mind, i think andrew having a medusa tattoo, or relating to medusa in any way, is kind of ironic and takes on a different meaning when you think about it.

he dealt with unwanted attention and sexual abuse his whole childhood. he was raped in cass’s home, a place where he put up with so many advances and assaults, and so much pain and confusion. he loved and respected her, and wanted to protect his brother.

in the end, he was punished for being assaulted by so many people in his life. It’s insinuated that cass knew what was going on, and she let it happen. his uncle blamed him, and his brother resented him in his ignorance.

then he was labeled as a monster, and used for his protection by so many people in his life.

i just think it’s a interesting comparison to make.

Neil and Kevin on Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition where Kevin cringes every time he feels there is too much butter in a dish and keeps gettinf dinged for bland food. Meanwhile, Neil is so used to cutting things up into weirdly small bites because that's what Andrew likes that the chefs have to hover over him to stop him.

Also both of them being SUPREMELY competitive about it to the point that it is a running joke, but also there's no way Kevin is letting Neil win.

Also consider Neil and Kevin both making it to the semi finals for different teams and the show flying Andrew in for both Neil and Kevin as the person they want to impress with their cooking. It's the first time they've ever had something like that happen and all the foxes (and Andrew's fans) are delighted to see Andrew impassively eating elaborate dishes on very silly realty TV.

just imagine it's the middle of the night or something, and neil is being an idiot and somehow manages to hurt himself and he can't reach the injury so he needs help. he doesn't go to andrew. he goes to aaron. yes, aaron will give him a lot of shit about it jokingly, but he'd use the most gentle hands, stay with neil for a few minutes after to make sure he's okay and he doesn't have any other injuries. insults will never seize to flow off of his tongue, but his mannerisms will still be full of care
