It's been a while since Whirl had been seen in the leisure halls. Today, he's present there again, seated at a table directly below a large light, and he seemed to have brought another smaller lamp with him.

He's eerily quiet, hunched over something that can't really be seen from far away.

If anyone would dare to see what he's up to, they'd be in for a suprise; he was painting swirls, dots, patterns, doodles, anything he could think of on his right arm plating with a darker teal color. There were a few paint splatters on the table from the times he'd dropped his tiny brush, but he somehow managed to nick out some grooves to hold.

Starscream huffs and crosses his arms, "How DARE you mistake me for that ugly, triple changing, bumbling blitzbrain! He could never compare to my greatness! He can't even stay in aircraft mode so I'm far superior!" Travis Knight shakes, "I... I'm so-sorry I just... the script Bay handed me said it was Blitzwing." Here's a super tiny drabble of something I'm working on now. Thanks so much to @frisslimbim for translating some lines for me and helping me come up with a plot for this, I love them so much they're amazing! I hope you enjoy!

Marcus Watson has never doubted his career choice. He loves exy, is grateful he got a scholarship to sail him through college to play it professionally, and is happy to provide his fiancé and his soon-to-be step-daughter a comfortable life. More than once he’s gotten injured - it’s pretty much impossible to avoid that when playing professionally - but that has never stopped him from wanting to play. He even secured a contract in Denver, which had been predicted to be one of the best-performing teams this upcoming season due to their lineup.

The main reason for this prediction was the addition of Neil Josten and Andrew Minyard to the team. Marcus had seen them play when he was younger, and even had the chance to play against the Foxes during college, and he knew the two were no joke. They played like their lives depended on it, but also with some sort of laissez faire attitude that only they could get away with. Their captain and coach weren't the biggest fans of said attitude, but attempting to pick any sort of fight with those two was destructive at best.

Case and point: the way that the two argued amongst themselves.

There was no doubt in Marcus’ mind that Neil and Andrew hated each other. Before he’d signed on to his current team there had been a few rumors about them disliking one another, but nothing substantial. Andrew avoided interviews, but on one occasion had managed to get in a comment about hating Neil. And then Neil had retaliated with hating Andrew, but things were kept to social media. They had never been brought in for a joint interview and had been on separate teams since graduating from Palmetto State University.

But on the first day of practice, Marcus could see the tension between them. When they finally went to the locker room to cool down, Andrew had slammed his locker door closed loudly enough to gain everyone’s attention, narrowed eyes shifting from person to person. Eventually, he asked if anyone spoke German, and when it was clear that nobody did, he turned back to Neil. “Okay. Also, wie ich grad dabei war zu sagen - ich werd deinen Schwanz lutschen, wenn wir nach Hause kommen - ”

Nothing in particular had happened to Neil’s face to give away what Andrew was saying, but he’d immediately stiffened up and his eyebrows furrowed just slightly. Marcus had looked away, able to tune out the foreign language and finish getting ready to leave, walking towards where his fiancée was waiting to pick him up with the team’s captain, Pam.

“Kind of considerate of them to argue in a different language,” Marcus had mumbled as they went.

"I guess," she agreed. "They better not make a habit of it."

Unfortunately for her, they made a habit of it.
