It's never felt more like a 'Fuck western lefties' time for Iranians than now! My people are struggling socially and economically under the rule of a fascist dictator terrorist regime, getting beaten, murdered and silenced by a corrupt government, that is vastly unpopular, day in day out. Now we're at the brink of a costly war on top of everything. And western left wingers are CHEERING ON THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC! Twitter and Instagram are full of dumb westerners acting like the IR is some kind of hero here. Fuckin hell. Two terrorist regimes are going at each other, the result is going to be more misery and civilian deaths. More destruction and casualties. There's nothing to cheer for here.
I can just hope this won't escalate into another humanitarian crisis. God knows the world doesn't need more war and loss of innocent lives right now.

I hardly see any news on Ukraine or Palestine anymore. Don't become complicit or desensitized to these injustices.
I know logging on to talk about your favorite character or media and distract yourself from work or life can be nice, but that's a privilege many do not have. It doesn't take much to spend some time educating yourself and donating if you can.
Keep talking, boycotting, and calling for a ceasefire!

I live in occupation bc I have no money to leave and I hate it with all my heart.
Everyday I feel like I live in a different world from what I want to be.
I feel like me myself isn't mine anymore and my life is stolen from me, as well as I'd never will get a grip of my own future.
I can't talk in my language out of fear and I can't speak my thoughts bc it's dangerous.
I forced to see the enemy almost everyday. See them with weapons, armour and on the scary looking cars on the street. They also once directed their weapon right into me and threatened me once as well. Like it's normal.
And I feel so hopeless. Empty.
I don't feel like myself anymore.

There's a reason why any post that compares us to Palestinians is never from Palestinians themselves but instead from ppl who proclaim themselves defenders of the innocent yet very easily turn their backs on us cos it's not "new" anymore even though our situation is getting worse day by day. And the reason is that people who actually know what it's like to live through unimaginable pain and sorrow on a nation wide scale would never think to discredit that pain in other people. Unlike someone whose worst struggle was a recent college exam and no chai latte in Starbucks.
I'd say be better but I don't think you can so whatever.
