Scaredy cat reader who wants to indulge in katsuki’s taste so they insist on letting him pick whatever he wants for movie night and not just pick something he thinks reader won’t be scared of. Except the film was much gorier than reader expected and reader is now insisting on showering together that night, totally bc showering together is romantic!! Definitely not bc at any moment someone could open the shower curtain with a knife!! Bc duhh they’re not reallll duhhhh!!!

Hoooo my god, yes, cuz even tho he always, ALWAYS insists that you pick something for both of you, when you go to the video store together (or check his streaming lists), you can't help but notice the way he lingers in the horror section and sometimes even picks stuff to watch on his own.
And you've spent sooo much time begging him to pick what he wants to for movie night, saying that you don't mind on occasion because you want it to be special for him, too (cuz lord knows how many times he's sat through Trolls with you, absolutely MISERABLE but always happy to see you happy)...
(I can imagine you both in the store, him wearing the pensive face he makes when he doesn't want to make a decision that might upset you, looking between the latest blockbuster and some ancient, horrific horror movie he's been meaning to watch for ages.
And you're next to him, promising you don't mind, all: "katsuki, let's just watch it! i want to, cuz i won't be all that scared with you there :)" and him finally going "okayyyyyy, if you say so, sweets" while bringing it up to counter...)
BUT EXACTLY LIKE YOU SAY, ai, you end up TERRIFIED and honestly kind of scared of the dark when the movie is over and Bakugo's turning off the lights while you're getting ready for bed... just thinking to himself he's such an ass for giving in and letting that happen...
...Right up until you jump when he enters the bathroom while you're showering to grab your clothes for the laundry........... and he realizes that maybe the best way to make it up to you would be by giving you something else to focus on by plowing you in the shower
(He strips off his clothes and reaches behind the shower curtain to grab you, lifting you up into his arms as you squeal, half out of surprise + half out of anticipation for what's next. And he's flipping you around with a growl that sounds just like the one he uses at work, except this time, more intimate for you as he can already feel your loins and you can feel the way... he's also coming to life between his legs, too .)
Then you're really scared (but only for the backache you know you'll have when you wake-up LOL)

“WHAT? FATHER YOU CANT-“
“The decision has been made, and finalize the two of the truth, and will be married after two weeks of kingdoms will join into one. This will not only bring peace between our kingdoms, but it is in the war with Neighboring kingdom.” He cut you off.
You guess there was no fighting this. You an independent and intelligent princess betrothed to the infamous prince Katsuki Bakugou, the dragon prince. No known as your soon to be husband and king.
Sure you knew that as a princess, you would be betrothed it’s some point in your life but him of all royalty? He was known for being ruthless mean and cold some would even say barbaric. However, there’s a current battle between three kingdoms for power and land, your two kingdoms have come to an agreement to unite into one. 
“…father…please don’t make me…” you tried to plead in a last attempt. Your father loves you more than anything. But this war was taking a toll on recourses, soldiers and the last thing he needed was to also loose you. The Bakugou kingdom was strong no doubt and uniting may be the only way to keep you safe.
“Y/N, you will be fine. I’ll make you a deal. If at any moment you feel your life is truly threatened and you are facing life or death, I will call this off completely.” He said, trying to alleviate some of the stress of the situation. And it was enough for you.
“Deal. But I still will not enjoy this. If you expect me to fall in love with him, then you’re wrong.”

“Katsuki. This is not up for discussion. They are not only our neighboring kingdom they are also a valuable Ally not to mention the princess is very beautiful, patient and intelligent.” His mother, the queen inquired
“Like I give a damn about all that bullshit. I do just fine on my own” said prince crossing his arms “I don’t need a damn bride to make anything better”
“ complain all you want, but in two days time she will be here in our kingdom. Spend the next week with you before the wedding” she spat back. Funny enough whoever met the queen was convinced that she ran the kingdom and not her husband.
“Whatever you old hag” Bakugou brushed her off as he left the throne room
“Prepare yourself Katsuki! You have to grow out of that mentality to run this kingdom…and clean your damn room!”

SCREAMSSS YESSS I think the only way he’d be able to communicate his feelings for you would be between the insufferable practice sessions you have… you both have a big concert coming up and you’re seeing him more than just weekly to practice your new routine to perfection, so its unfortunately harder to avoid him because you can’t, you have to stick around because you need his feedback so you can work together in sync!! And while you’re so annoyed about it at first… you start to warm up to him the slightest. Its just.. something about the way he’s so passionate in everything he does, when he criticises your latest sheet for the song and takes apart each note, saying why some work and some wouldn’t, he’s just so honest and raw in the way he works and it gets to you? It somehow inspires you and annoyingly makes you want to do better for him!!! You hate him!! But want to please him so bad!! Bc as annoying as he is… he’s a wonderful musician, a prodigy even
AND AAAAAA HIM INVITING YOU ONE TIME AFTER FOR DINNER bc one thing led to another while you were working and it’s?? 7pm??? So he’s apologising for keeping you out so late and insists he takes you out to eat, after-all it’s his fault for not being able to settle for the tune you composed until it was perfect down to the very last note… and he hates having debts!! So he takes you out, and it frustrates you somehow even more?? Because you can distract yourself from him when all you have to think about is music, but now with him sitting less than 2 feet away from you, raising his hand for a waiter and ordering food…. You’re forced to really see him. His face, his hands and the way they clearly look like a worked musicians hands, the way his voice sounds when he’s speaking to strangers, and now you’re more annoyed!! In a different way!! Because he will just not!!! Leave!! Your mind!!!

BUT YES UGH, you swear if it weren't for the recitals you wouldn't be anywhere NEAR him in your spare time, but... there's something about seeing him outside of normal performance/practice circumstances that has you a little less frustrated, a little more willing to work at things.
Maybe it's the casual jeans and flannel he shows up to the studio in rather than the slacks and button-up you're so used to? The bags under his eyes and unbrushed hair proving he's only human, just like you? his sudden need for (unsweetened, damnit!) lattes and all the phone calls he gets from his own instructor (aizawa) yelling at him about this and that (and remember to dry clean your silks..... and be on your best behavior because eri is coming, too).
it's like.... who has he become? where did the REAL bakugo go???
AND THEN HAVING THIS REALIZATION AT THE DINNER, TOO... where's he's acting like a proper gentleman and ur suddenly aware of just how much you actually look like a couple alongside everything else, too??? it's would def not be the first time people have asked if you're together (even if now you wouldn't really know what to say)... but it's just so AHHH to be faced with because you've been trying so, SO hard to deny it. i'm crying :(((
(and yes he orders a dessert for you to share and that just makes things WORSE)... GOD. i'm sick. i'm SICK!!!!!!

Since the year is ending, I thought I would write what's been on my mind.
This year brought a lot of ups and downs but ultimately, there are a few moments which would stay with me for the next year:
- coming back to tumblr and following @nymphoheretic and @linpunny , which resulted in me coming back to writing. Thank you sincerely for your fanfics, and more importantly, being you. I greatly admired your friendship and banter and I'm glad I did get to know you both better.
- my friendship with sunandflame and flametrashira, which ended badly. I won't dwell on that now.
- my friendship with @glitchtricks94 and @benkeibear , which sustains me now, and will sustain me for days, weeks, months, and hopefully years to come. As long as you will have me, I will stay with you ❤️
- my friendship with everyone from @starrierknight 's group - @archer-fb @mysicklove @vampcubus @hopelessbluebird @lunerab0 @aikugo @mamayan and so many more (I cant remember all of them now under the influence of drinks)
