Oshi no Ko anon: in the most recent chapters, Aqua & Ruby found out who they were to each other in their previous life, they shared a really heartfelt moment that begins to mend the rift that started to form between them. He even calls her radiant! I don't think they'll be endgame but it was really cute and shippable. And she did canonically love him in that past life, and also he was lowkey a parental figure to her back then b/c her own parents weren't around as she was dying in the hospital

Oshi no Ko 2/2: plus, at the end of the most recent chapter (123), Ruby says she still remembers how, in their past life, he said he'd marry her when she came of age, and she says with a blush that she's of age now. So... it's one-sided canon even now that they're siblings; unclear exactly how Aqua feels for her, but she is very much in the top-tier of Most Important People to him (along with their dead mom/idol)

Oshi no Ko (from the same author as Kaguya-sama) has some fun reincarnation stuff. The MC was a huge fan of a pop star, and then got reincarnated as her son (and years later, wants to find/kill the person who caused his mom/idol's death). Then, a patient of the MC's had a precocious crush on him, wanting to marry him, but died from cancer. She got reincarnated along with him as his twin sister. There's no incest between them, but their relationship is quite prominent and I really enjoy it

Anon #2: I second the Oshi no Ko rec!! Both Aqua (son) and Ruby (daughter) are huge fans of their mom, Ai, to the point where it's definitely deliberately suggestive. And Aqua is frequently accused of having a sister complex and is really protective of Ruby. Even if it's not *canon* it's still really shippable.

yet sometimes I think, "would aqua even bother asking you to be his girlfriend at a time crisis like this?"

It's a possibility he wants to keep you safe and unharmed from danger, so he'll probably lock up his feelings from you and keep it a secret so no danger will come for you, but it's not guaranteed </3

⌗O9: in an au where ai is alive, I wouldn't say that ai would straight away approve of your relationship with aqua. she's a mother, yes but not those kinds who don't give a fuck abt relationships ykwim?

when she first met you, she's a bit suspicious of you, especially if you're someone who's young, but your mind is well beyond your age.

It took a while, but she got used to you around with aqua and genuinely loves you

so you have to BE THE SAVIOR who changes aqua to be a better person and set aside this revenge
